Once Luhan and Xiumin arrive at their destination

No words were spoken between the two as they silent left the car, straightening up their suits. A bouquet of purple lilies found it’s way into the younger’s hand. The duo continued the ever too familiar trip in silence, whispering from the leaves were the only sounds that accompanied them. Xiumin couldn’t help but notice as luhan’s steps became more hesitant, his shoulders beginning to shake a bit as they continued through the twisted path. Laying a supporting hand on the younger’s lower back, he gave a comforting rub as they found their treasure. As the two bowed their heads in respect, a third figure joined them, allowing the wind to speak on his behalf. Luhan made no intention to welcome him, but rather gave a small head nod in acknowledgment and gratefulness. The three now stood in silence, their gazes on the destination, one full with sorrow, another filled with burden and the last was misted with pools threatening to spill over. Luhan slowly kneeled, placing his head against the dew as his tears mixed in with the moisture Placing the bouquet down on the fresh grass in front of him, a small tear finished it’s journey down his nose falling down next to the flowers,

“Happy birthday Umma.”

With the Kings

The four pretty boys were currently taking part of their Friday tradition in Baekhyun’s restaurant. They ate in silence, appreciating the savory western meal that dance amongst their taste buds. Their pure bliss however was broken when the eldest began to speak,

“So I’m meeting Tao’s family tomorrow.” This quickly caught the younger three’s attention as the mocking began with phrases such as “Don’t forget to bring a pie” and “Make your best impression” were thrown out. Kris allowed his dongsaengs to poke fun at him before speaking up once more. “Well apparently he lives with all males, and his Appa is only 22 and his umma is 21. Oh and did I mention he is 17?” Three sprays of water and saliva found it’s way across the table as Kris noted that his reaction was exactly the same.

“That’s not possible right hyung?” Sehun questioned with large eyes trying to imagine how that could ever be possible. Kris merely shrugging his shoulders before changing the subject to fall onto a certain self-imposed punishment bet.

“Well Mr. Oh Sehun, I do have to admit, these past few months have been quite entertaining.” A smirk appeared on his face as the thought of Sehun’s torture was simply quite amusing for him. Sehun made no motion to enter the conversation as he began to slice his steak with a bit more pressure than needed. His discreet action didn’t going unnoticed by Kai, who began to wipe his mouth before throwing in his two cents.

“I have to agree with Kai, you sir have that boy quiet whipped. I swear you can drop your hat down the Grand Canyon and that boy would fly all the way to the States and scale that whole just to get it back.”

“I actually think quite opposite,” Baekhyun spoke up sparking much interest between his three surrogate brothers, “I think our little nerdy boy actually has Sehun wrapped around his little finger.” Baekhyun wiggled his pinky in the air for a bit of emphasis causing much laughter from the other two. With an eyebrow twitching in annoyance Sehun placed his knife down as though he would have stabbed on of his friends stating that Baekhyun’s observation was clearly off. His statement gained the opposite reaction however, as the three roared with laughter instigating Kai and Baekhyun’s reenactment of the lovebirds.

“Oh Luhan I love you so!!” Kai imitated, throwing the back of his hand to his forehead another grasping onto Baekhyun’s hand.

“But I love you more my king!” Baekhyun threw in, changing his pitched just a bit while placing his hand onto his heart as Kai leaned down and placed a small kiss o his hand. “Sehun!”

“Luhan!”

“Hunnie!”

“Hannie!”

“Yah! You idiots, you wanna die?!” Sehun slapped the two over their laughing heads, turning to Kris who was trying, and failing, to contain his laughter. “Aish, what do I do with you idiots?” As the three lost all sense of self-control roars of laughter could be heard within a mile radius. It took a good five minuets for the three to return to reality as Sehun sat in a woe-is-me partying the corner. “Why must you all do this to me?”

“BECAUSE WE LOVE YOU!” Kai and Baekhyun announced in unison, clomping the youngest in a large hug until a smile found its way around his mouth as well. Kris sat back watching his three dongsaengs embrace each other, before speaking out,

“Well I must admit that the two idiots did a great job in impersonating you two, but I agree with Baekhyun, Sehun that boy has you on a tighter leash then most mutts.” Pushing himself out of the death grip, known as a group hug, Sehun gave his attention over to the eldest,

“Well that doesn’t matter at the moment. Right now we have a bigger issue.” This caught the other three’s attention rather easily, as the atmosphere became like one that you would find within a business meeting, but you can’t expect anything else from the four heirs of some of the biggest Asian companies. “It turns out the fattie that lives with me knows our ugly duckling.” Though Sehun’s words brought surprise, the three knew better than to expect that this was the only problem. “And he overhead our plans.”

“Well. That might be an issue now won’t it?” Kris’s words came out dripped in mocking sarcasm. The kings said no more as they began to contemplate the best way to rid themselves of this menace. Slowly a knowing smile crept upon Kai’s face. Quickly finding Sehun’s eyes the two exchange a glance, causing Sehun to realize the plan as a smile was also apparent on his face. It didn’t take much for the entire group to have communicated through a small smile. To anyone else it would seems as though they had just shared a kind joke, however if you looked closer onto the near perfect picture, one would find a Kai holding up a single finger.

“Well, you know what you do with a rotten bun right?” Kai’s voice was now drenched in amusement and terror as he circled his finger in the air a bit. It was Sehun’s horrid tone that answered however,

“You burn it of course.”

That Night

As the Kings had their own tradition every Friday night, so did Luhan and his family. Every Friday at seven, the six would join together and practice. They’ll run over their old dances, perfect new ones, push their octave range, work on their flow, anything. Although all this practice made them much better, the goal of their session wasn’t to improve, it was to forget. All the stress, all the problem all the pressure of that week would be forgotten for those blessed hours. Their session normally lasted for five hours, and as the clock now rounded midnight six sweaty bodies lied in their own puddles of sweat. There was a silence as all could be heard was the heaving gasp for breaths, but this silence wasn’t awkward, it was rather welcomed. No one moved to restart the fading, nor did anyone move to claim one of the two shower. There was movement though, Tao sat up a bit hesitantly before speaking out.

“Umm. Guys? The guy I’ve been talking to for the past few months is going to come over for dinner tomorrow to meet you ok?” Tao awaited any response, but all stayed silence for a good five minuets before the martial arts expert dropped back down to his back?

“Lay do you still have my gun?” Lay tuned to the man of the house, stating that the gun was not going to be Suho’s weapon as it was his. “Well do you still have my cross bow?”

“It’s in my room Appa!” Chanyeol yelled from across the room ignoring Tao’s expression that could make one believe that he just stared death in the eyes.

“Perfect.”

With Tao

Tao drummed his hands nervously on top of the steering wheel paying no attention to the stares that he was earning from his partner. To say that he was nervous was a bigger understatement than saying that Kpop fans just like their idols.

“Umm.. Tao?” Kris hesitantly started, “can we go in?” The younger’s eyes widened at the thought, quickly sputtering out excuses stalling what he though would be certain doom. Trying to convince Kris that they should give those inside more time to prepare. Kris was now dumbfounded. The two have been sitting outside of Tao’s apartment for more than thirty minuets with Tao acting as though he was defusing a time bomb. Having enough, the King promptly stepped out of the car slamming the door, bringing the other back to reality just in time to see his door open. “Come on. We’re going.”

“Wait! No! FIVE MORE MINUETS!!!” However, Tao’s pleas fell upon deaf ears as Kris continued to drag him towards the door, placing three solid raps upon it.

“Tao relax. I’m not going to di-“

“DUCK!” Tao screamed forcing the taller down, nearly avoiding the stick that slammed into the door hinge. Looking up, Tao saw the foundation crumbling away, “SUHO GEGE!” Kris slowly rose from his crouching position to see a hard eyed male looking up at the two, holding onto a wooden stick much larger than himself. Taking a slow look to the right of him, he noticed the wall now had a large hole, approximately where his head was before. Turning back he gave a full ninety-degree bow to Suho promptly introducing himself as Kris. The latter however just hmphed in acknowledgment and proceeded to walk away without any return of introductions. “Well you met my appa. His name is Kim Joon Myeon, but we all just refer to him as Suho.” Kris gave an involuntary shutter, as he began to wonder if he made the correct choice. He reminded himself that there was no backing out now. Continuing through the house, the two stumbled upon a rather scene in the kitchen. “YAH! LAY! HAN! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!”

“Well I do believe they were beginning to engage in what is known as ual conduct or .” Stunned, Tao turned to the taller questioning his fluent Chinese. “My father worked in China, so I thought to learn it.” Clearly impressed with himself, Kris didn’t notice the sneer that appeared on Luhan’s mouth overhearing the arrogant comment. Pulling away from his hugging position he appeared shirtless in front of the young couple.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Han.” His statement receiving two strange looks as he calmly held out his hand. Taking the gesture Kris returned the kindness, but he strongly believed he saw the flawless face somewhere else before. Kris nodded hesitantly, knowing that he has seen that face around somewhere, but he was not able to place his finger on it.

“And Kris this is my umma, Yixing, but you probably know him as Lay from Exo.” Kris eyed the male wearily as he heard that he was Tao’s umma, seeing his age and well, he is a he.

“Kris… he isn’t me real umma… like Suho isn’t my real appa.. they just play that role.” Tao stepped in seeing the awkward position Kris was in.

“Let’s just go have dinner ok?”

Once everyone sat at the dinner table

“Luhan go put on a shirt. We have a guest.” Lay scolded as the younger sat in a pair of worn sweatpants. Putting on a pout from the opposite side of the table Luhan whined, allowing his laziness to be an excuse as he didn’t want to walk up the stairs. “Luhan. Now.” Lay commanded as he began to cut a piece out of his steak. Sighing, the youngest got up and forced the shirt off of Lay’s back leaving him in a single wife beater. Slipping on the opened button up, he placed a innocent five year old boy smile as he did nothing wrong and continued to eat his meat much to the amusement of Kris. Suho on the other hand was not amused,

“So Kris. Tell us about yourself, heritage, age, major, dreams, how fast you can run, your blood type, fears, nightmare etc. etc.” Chanyeol busted out laughing at the last few questions knowing that he wanted to torture and murdering the guest.

“Come on appa, leave the poor boy alone. I like him.” Chanyeol smiled taking a sip from his drink as Kris nodded in gratitude before speaking up.

“Well, I’m full Korean, I’m 18, an arts/entertainment major, I eventually hope to debut as a singer, I can run a mile in six minuets, AB+, I fear stuff and nightmares, well I never remember when I wake up.” Giving a satisfied smile as he smoothly answered all of the hounding question Suho gave him.  Tao and Kyungsoo couldn’t help but quietly smile as most people crumble under the pressure of Suho’s crazy question. Chanyeol on the other hand was more vocal about his approval,

“HAHAHA I LIKE THIS GUY! He can stand up to Suho! Plus he can dominate!” A resounding what came from the table as the last sentence was added in unexpectedly. “Well look he’s strong, and tall, he’s totally going to top Tao.” Knowing exactly what Chanyeol was speaking of, Luhan decided to play the little boy card,

“Yeolie? Kris is topping Tao how?” He added a small pout and head tilt, blinking his wide eyes a few times to add more to it.

“You see maknae, when two people love each other, they have a thing called . Now when it is a male and female, he places his within her . However,” The male continued, now pacing back and forth and wiggling his finger like a teacher,  “when two males are in love, there is no to place in into. Now there is a simple solution, a male would act as the male, also known as the seme, sticking his into the other male, while the other male, also known as the uke, will provide the entrance. In this case the entrance would be the-”

“CHANYEOL! LUHAN IS A MERE CHILD! YOU CANNOT EXPOSE HIM TO SUCH INDECENCY!”

“ME?! ME EXPOSE HIM?! LAY YOU WERE THE ONE ALLOWING HIM TO ING GRIND ON YOU AT THE DINNER TABLE A FEW MONTHS AGO!!! AND WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT SHOW YOU PUT ON IN THE KITCHEN?!”

“YOU WILL RESPECT YOU ELDERS CHANYEOL!”

“WHY OF COURSE I WILL RESPECTFUL AJUSSHI!” Chanyeol concluded the playful argument giving a deep bow, earning much laughter from the table and amusement from the guest. Although he enjoyed the show, his mind was somewhere else. He heard the name, Luhan thrown out several times. Looking over to the boy he couldn’t help but see a slight resemblance between him and the school’s ugly duckling. Kris eyed the youngest closer, his suspicions weren’t confirmed, but they were in no way denied. As the two continued to banter, he noticed that Tao and Suho were having their own quiet argument on the side, no doubt it was about him, he noted.

“I hope you get use to this. And don’t worry about Suho, he likes you, I can tell.” Look to his right he saw the smiling singer digging into the rest of his rice.  Nodding in gratitude, Kris turned back his chair of interest to realize that his prey was gone. Quickly turning around he found the back of the youngest quickly retreating up the stairs. Excusing himself from the one member who was paying attention, Kris hurried up the stairs silently following the younger. As both retreated into a bedroom. Luhan, unknowing of his visitor began to strip his shirt.

“Well doesn’t it seem that our ugly duckling is actually quiet hot… and has quite a collection of friends?” Luhan froze as the chilling voice rolled throughout the room before slowly turning around to see a smirking Kris against the door frame. “Little Luhan. Little ugly Luhan turns out to not only be quite appealing to the eye, but what is this? Lives with the one and only Exo.” Kris taunting walking circles around the younger who was still frozen from shock. “Hmm, I wonder how the rest of the school would take this news? I wonder how Sehun would take this news?” The Chinese boy’s eyes widen upon hearing his boyfriend’s name. Luhan knew that Sehun would not only be pissed that he hid practically his identity from him, but also that Luhan wasn’t the one to tell him, but rather Kris.

“You wouldn’t.” Luhan’s gaze now intensified, as he stared down Kris who gave a mere scoff.

“And why wouldn’t I?” Normally Luhan would be cowering in a corner, with his head down, afraid to say another word, but that was at school. Now the two were playing on Luhan’s turf, and that means a whole new Luhan.

“You don’t get it do you? At school, you may be top dog, but here? You’re at the bottom of the pyramid. You don’t think I have the power to ruin the one thing you care about do you?” The older’s eyebrow crooked upward in question as he had never seen this side of Luhan. Questioning what Luhan meant by ruining the thing he cared about Kris was slowly losing his confidence. A smirk appeared over Luhan’s face as he brought the back of one hand to the palm of another, crying out “Ow! Kris!” a few seconds later. Before Kris could register what happened another voice was flying through out the house,

“LUHAN! ARE YOU OK?! DID KRIS HIT YOU??” Kris’s eyes widen finally realizing what Luhan’s statement was referring too. Giving a pleading signal, Luhan yelled back stating that Kris accidently dropped something onto Luhan. Turning back to the elder Luhan couldn’t help but to express his joy around his recent triumph.

“Do you get it know? You may have all the power at school, but here you play under my rules. I’m Tao’s closest friend in this house, to the point that we are the closest brothers and you better believe that blood is thicker than water. Trust me when I say Tao wouldn’t hesitate to drop your if you ever do something to me, not counting everything that you’ve already done.” Kris eyes narrowed in question noticing the new threatening tone that surrounded Luhan.

“Are you threatening me?” Luhan threw his head back in laughter,

“Of course not. I’m warning you. The Luhan you know at school is not the same Luhan here. And the Luhan here, wouldn’t mind seeing your kicked to the curb.” With that Luhan left began to leave the room before pausing, barely turning back Luhan’s voice was sharper than before, “and if you ever mention a word to this to Sehun or anyone else at school you better believe you lost your martial arts expert.” Without a single word Luhan continued walking out of the room leaving Kris dumbfounded.

With Xiumin

The Chinese boy paid no attention to the new customers, as he continued to organize the blender and ingredients.

“I’ll be right with you sir.” Turning back to the counter, Xiumin’s face was quickly covered by a scented cloth. Before he could put up any real struggle, his body went limped.

“The young master requested him to be taken to our old warehouse.”

“Then to the outskirts of no where we go.”
