In Love With the Wrong One
“Stop laughing.”
“Axauahaxhuaxhauhah, I-I can’t! You call-called her a c-cow in heat, for God’s sake!!!” Bumie was barely breathing after hearing about Nam Jonghyun’s troubled flight back to Korea and the stewardess who accompanied him. Truthfully speaking, he got a bit jealous at first, but he just lost it after hearing the nickname his friend had for the woman who even chased him in his dream once.
“I said stop. It’s not funny anymore.” Hyun gritted, getting cutely annoyed by Kibum’s unstoppable laugh at his story.
“Everything about that trip will always be funny to me!” Key exclaimed, slowing down his laugh a bit only to burst again few seconds later. “So tell me more about it. Did anything even funnier happen?”
“Well… there’s this one thing… but I’m not sure if I should tell you or not.” Hyun hesitated, looking at the guy sitting right beside him doubtfully. “I think it’ll be better if I keep this for myself.”
“Aw come ooon!” Key objected, suddenly leaning on his shoulder, forgetting the fact that basically they just met few hours ago. “Pweaaaseee~” he sang cutely to him, using all his aegyo charm at once.
Embarrassment hit him a moment later, when Hyun turned his head to him and their faces got too close unexpectedly. Then, blushing almost instantly, Key backed off quickly and saw a surprising look in Jonghyun’s features.
For a while he completely forgot that he was with someone who wasn’t used to him and his weird actions.
He was with a male. With a heteroual one, to be exact. Someone who might not be used to these kind of actions. Someone who might even be disgusted by them! A cold shiver ran through his spine, making him move away from him as fast as possible the moment their eyes met with such a small distance between them.
But what surprised him (in a good way, of course) was that his fear disappeared when he saw his eye’s reflection on Jonghyun’s eyes, which shoved nothing but a slight surprise, just like his.
No disgust. No disapprovement. No fear.
Just surprise.
And a little bit curiosity, maybe.
“How can you abuse people with cuteness like this, for God’s sake?!” Hyunie questioned, gaining himself a grin. “Promise not to laugh that much.” He said warningly, not taking his gaze off him. “Otherwise I won’t tell you anything anymore.”
“Promise!” Key nodded, seeing how his friend was trying to hide his smile behind a façade. “My aegyo works on him, too!” he thought, waiting for him to start.
“Just remember you promised! I’ll punish you if you don’t keep on your word!”
“Okay okay okay! Come on now!”
“Well… you know, there’s a short description of what happened to you in your patient carton in case you went through an accident…”
“Yeah?”
“My description was ‘Two cracked hip bones and bruises allover the body. Gored by a goat.’… I SAID DOT’T LAUGH!”
“I’m not! I’m not!!” Key said, trying to stay serious. “Keep on.”
“So when my doctor saw that, he thought I work in a zoo.”
“W-what?!”
“YEAH! He was like, ‘I’m sorry Mister Nam, but I’m not sure if your insurance would cover this if it didn’t happen in your work time… Do you even have insurance, by the way?’ God, I’m telling you, I would have punched that arrogant bastard if only I was able to stand up in his level!”
One…
Two…
Three…
“GOD, BUMIE I TOLD YOU NOT TO LAUGH!” Jonghyun cried out frustrated, seeing (and mostly enjoying) how Key was now rolling in his bed, laughing his off.
“Axhuaahahhuahaxuaxhahxauhaxah~”
“YOU PROMISED!”
“AXAUAHAXHAHAHAHAXAH~”
“Okay I’m done with this.” Jonghyun stated, folding up his shirt’s sleeves. “I told you I won’t you go so easily if you break your promise!” he reminded and simply jumped over Kibum to tickle him.
Nam Jonghyun.
Over Kim Kibum.
Tickling him.
That was even more shocking than Key’s sudden aegyo!
“Aaaaah, what are you doii-ihi-ihi-oh-ing?!” Kibum breathed out, laughing so hard for the first time ever. “Leaave mee-he-heee”
“What does it look like to you, huh? You wanted to laugh, right? Now you’re laughin
