Key was still trying to fight his tears back, hoping he’d calm down a little bit by the time Gyu arrives. Still, everytime he thought about how was Jonghyun acting around her and how she tried to hide her excitement, that troubling feeling of having something in his throat was coming back even stronger than before.

      He saw it. He saw every little detail while he kept his silence on that table: Jonghyun’s unusual restraint from any trace of flirt, his sweet, not y smile, his whole body language showed Kibum how his smurf was trying to go slow on her.       But it couldn’t have been because of him, right? She was one of his best friends, yes… but it wasn’t like she knew about Key’s feelings for him. He never told her, he never even told her about his uality!

      Kibum was still in a deep thought when he heard the doorbell ringing; he didn’t want to be seen by the other members in this state for nothing, so he decided to wait until somebody opened the door and saw who it was. He didn’t forget the chance of someone else than Gyu coming… but his all doubts died when he heard a familiar squeak.

“KYAAAAAA! LEE JINKI IS OPENING THE DOOR FOR ME, OH MY GOOOD!” Key heard her scream and the next moment he was already flying to get her in his room, but too late- all the members were surrounded around the door by the time he got there.

“Oh my God, girl calm down, calm down!” he heard her half-whisper, while she clenched her fists and breathed out heavily. “I’m sorry for being such a fangirl, everybody!” she said a moment later, with a charming smile on her face. Each male, except Kibum instinctively smiled back at her.

“Gyuri?...” Jonghyun said in awe, wondering if he is not imagining things now. Right before she turned to him, somebody pulled her away without any warning.

“You’ll talk to them later, now it’s me who needs you.” Key muttered under his nose, pulling her to his room and crashing the door once again.

“So this is the girl you talked about?” Minho asked a moment later, when the four of them came back to their senses. Jonghyun nodded, still looking towards Key’s room.

“She looks like a goddess even when she’s fangirling…” Onew said, letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding.

“Now I see why you dropped your coffee when you saw her, hyung!” Taemin added, rubbing his hair in amazement.

“Thank you for pulling me out of there, I didn’t know what to do!” Gyu sighed after getting in Kibum’s room. She turned to him, who was still leaning on the door, trying to catch his breath. “Bumie, what happened to you?” she asked when she saw his red eyes, puffed eyelids and lips, reaching out to his face. Gyuri caressed his cheek gently, wiping away a newly dropped tear from there.

“Let’s just sit down first.” he offered, his voice cracking at the first word. “I have to share it with someone, I can’t keep it in anymore, Gyu.”

“Bumie you know I’m always here!” she said, both of them sitting on his bed. “So, what’s been bothering my sweet friend today? You looked so upset when I saw you earlier!”
