“Hyung, why is he fussing over his looks so much tonight?” Taemin asked Minho silently, as they both watched in awe how Jonghyun was trying to convince Kibum on putting some make-up to cover the dark spots under his eyes. It was amusing how Key, who always cared about his looks didn’t give a about it right now, and the one who was always complaining about waiting him to get ready insisted on making him look awesome no matter what.

“I’m as clueless as you, dongsaeng…” Minho replied, now witnessing how Jjong seated Key on a chair and personally put some cream on his face as the latter just sighed in despair. “But isn’t it strange?”

“Of course it is! When did Jonghyun hyung ever took so much care of him?”

“No, I mean Key’s reaction to all the attention he’s receiving.” Minho said, his eyes never leaving the other two. "The Kibum I know would have blushed to his ears and have nagged him like an ajumma the moment those hands touched his face. But now he just sits there obediently and waits. That’s soo not like him!"

“Key hyung has been treating him strange lately, too…” Taemin pointed out after a little thought. “The way he talks, he smiles, even the way he touches him are… I don’t know, just different. Like, less affectionate. Is it possible for him to be finally moving on from… you know, his love for him?”

“Okay now, let’s take a look of everything all over again~” Jonghyun sang happily, looking at the masterpiece he made out of the snotty, crappy Kibum he found in a bunch of food leftovers twenty minutes ago. He didn’t and would never get to know why he was in such a miserable state, but that didn’t matter. The most important thing for him that night was to create a nice atmosphere around those who were being blind-dated without them knowing. This was what they (him and Gyuri) were preparing for a month now, and they put too much hopes and efforts to be unsuccessful.

“Nice clothes- check!” he started, eyeing Key like he was some rare item for sale. “Hairstyle- check; Accessories-check; Clean teeth and breath- check; Perfume- check; Make up- check! ALL CHECKED, READY TO GO~”

“What the is wrong with you?” Kibum asked irritated while watching him spazz all over, but Jjong didn’t answer.
