      XXV days and…

      Twenty freaking five days in the hospital and absolutely no calls from Bumie. Not even one, just one.

      Jonghyun’s long stay in that irritating white room, which luckily lasted five days less thanks to his fast recovery were spent in rehabilitation exercises, watching TV, reading lots of magazines, talking to Gyu and Jieun about work and organizing his first exhibition… but most importantly, waiting for someone that never came.

“Ughh, sorry Eun, I got carried away…” Jonghyun said, snapping out of his thoughts about his Bumie. “What were you saying?”

“There’ll be a small party in your honor at the office tomorrow. Everybody wants to welcome their CEO properly. Even most of the shareholders will be there.”

“Wow, did they miss their ‘demon’ so much?” he asked in a sarcastic way.

“Uhhh, actually I don’t have an idea…” Hyun responded in a deep thought. He never cared about the reason that much.

“Because you’re the youngest CEO in our field.” she reasoned. “Everybody knows how you turned a small weekly journal into the most popular art and fashion magazine in Korea just in few years, so there’s this myth about you making a deal with the Devil or something…”

“Woah, so that’s the reason!” Jonghyun exclaimed, suddenly feeling enlightened by her. “I thought that it’s because I’m too strict with everyone!”

“Well, that comes as a bonus.” Jieun chuckled, looking around for something she might have missed before. Still she didn’t notice the black t-shirt on the armchair, thrown there by him while changing few minutes ago. “Anything else to pack?”

“Eun, why are you packing those things?”

“Do you think that I’ll want to see them after I get out of this place? I’d burn them right here, right now, if I could!”
