Chapter 16

Jiyong’s POV

It’s been a month since we rescued Dara from the island. Bom Noona is doing a great job on guarding Dara

from me. She asked sajangnim to let Dara be one of the trainees so that Dara will be with her 24/7. Of course

convincing hyung is not that easy but then I backed Noona up, also Dara showed sajangnim the

determination she has and luckily she was accepted. Of course training wasn’t easy and Dara is always

exhausted but I always try and be there to support her and of course guide her here in the City because

she’s been living in the island for almost 8 years. And I swear she badly needs it…

 Just how bad she needs it? let me share some stories with you.              

Flashbacks

There’s this one time when Dara was left alone in one of the practice room and she decided to roam around

the building. When Bom Noona arrived she thought that Dara is missing and called all of us in panicked. We

just finished some interview when she called us crying. All of us rushed to the building and searched the

whole area. Minzy and Chaerin who has grown pond of Dara are also crying along with Noona. We were

ready to call the police when we heard a cry coming from the elevator. There we saw Dara sitting in the

corner crying. I rushed to her and asked her what happen. Having no knowledge on how the elevator works,

she told us that she didn’t know how to get out, she said that whenever she tries to get out of the elevator it

always closes that she had to hurriedly run back inside, afraid that she’ll be squeezed between the doors.

The girls who are crying that time started laughing along with the boys. Aigoo, we were all worried for

nothing that it turns out that she‘s in the elevator the whole time. Good thing we haven’t informed the police.

Picture how embarrassing that was. You may be asking why someone or the staff from YG didn’t noticed

Dara? Well the answer is every time someone tries to get on the elevator she threaten them that the

elevator is going to eat them up. Of course nobody believed her when we asked some staff about it but

rather they said that they find her adorable and thought that she’s just playing to released her stress. Oh

yeah, One thing that we forgot to do that time is to asked the staff if they’ve seen Dara. Naïve of us right?

Well we’re in panicked mood that time that all we thought about is just to search for her.

Aigoo, Here’s another one. Remember when Dara and I first met? When she cooked that black porridge for

me? Well guess what? They have experienced it too. After the practice for our next comeback, we we’re all

exhausted and hungry. The girls we’re watching us that time and Dara heard our complaint about our

hungriness. She volunteered on cooking our dinner which I decline of course, but then the four boys having

no knowledge of what she can do beat me to it and accept her offer.  Well they were pretty excited about it

and I let them be it. Before that we decided to go to the grocery, all of us together with the four girls. And lo

and behold, Our Dara just made a scene! She said that she wants to cook shrimp for us, but unfortunately

there’s only a few left in the store.  But then an Ajumma also wants to buy it too. And the two just battle their

way to the stall. They reached the stall at the same time, well you get the picture. A tug of War happens; no

one wants to give up so they ended up being arrested by the police for making a scene. Oh about the

bigbang? Well we can’t be caught on that scene or else YG hyung will throw hell.  We let the girls handle it

and we just hid just around the corner watching how Dara battle her way out. So Dara ended up buying

nothing, her last resort was the porridge which the boys gladly accepted saying that they’ll eat whatever

she’ll make. And so it happens, Dara serves the black porridge which made the boys and the three girls left

stunned (don’t asked me how she do it, have no idea). No one dare to speak their mind and me? I have my

pair share of laugh, taking pictures of everyone’s reaction. When no one dares to eat, I looked at Dara’s sad

expression so I started to eat. Aigoo, you have to see their reaction! Everyone is gawking at me like I’m some

kind of a retard. Well I convinced them that the thing is edible and told them my story about it the first time.

After the incident everyone made a silent deal not to let Dara be alone in the kitchen.

End of flashback

So now you  know why Dara needs guidance in living in the city. As I was saying a little earlier, Bom Noona is

guarding Dara up so that I can’t make a move on her. But then I have to thank TOP hyung because now I

have all the time in the world. How? Sajangnim gave us 2 days vacation and Hyung invited Noona for a

vacation in his beach house. Of course Noona doesn’t want to leave Dara alone but Hyung manage to

convinced her, which is luckily for me.

Ji… how long will you be sitting there? I heard Dara voice

I looked up and saw my angel, wearing a plain white dress with a light make up on. She’s just simply
 

gorgeous.

How does she look Oppa? I heard Chaerin said from Dara’s back, it looks like the two younger girls made

Dara this breathtaking.

Very beautiful, I answered her still not taking my eyes on Dara. I saw how her cheek blush and the two girls

giggled in excitement.

So.. I’ll be taking Dara for awhile. I said to the girls while taking Dara hands.

Enjoy…. I heard the two girls shout as we exited the door.
