“Love is a game that two can play,
Yet both can win.”

My eyes fluttered open to a close-up view of Kim Jaejoong. He looked like a masterpiece even while he was asleep, with the sunlight pouring in from the window bathing him gently. Staring at him, I noticed how much younger and peaceful he looked. At first sight, he seemed like an important celebrity or heir of a large company, but once you really looked at him, he was just a normal person, almost as vulnerable as everyone else.
But everyone seemed more innocent when they weren’t awake.
Glancing at him, I took my hand and gently touched his face, like how he’d always touched mine. When he did that to me, it sent shivers up my spine.
What happened, though, when I did it to him?
Trailing my fingers over his chin, I then brought them to his eyes, and his hair, which was dyed a coppery-brown colour. I smiled as I remembered the first time I’d met him, thinking that he was an utter , until I got to know him. And he’d even saved me from that accident-
“What are you doing?”
He blinked his eyes, grinning as he saw that my hands were at his lips.
“Nothing.” I whispered, taking my hand away. “I’ll clean up first-”
“No.”
Jaejoong mumbled, taking his arm and curled it around my waist. “Let’s stay like this for a little while longer.” He buried my face into the crook of his shoulder, and sighed softly. I was surprised-was he really enjoying this? I was just a normal girl, nothing exceptional, and he liked doing this to me? What was so special about me?
His eyes glittered as he smiled at me. “I’ve been waiting for this moment forever.”
“Yeah, well, don’t expect it to happen too much.” I was furiously blushing now.
“I know you like it.” His lips brushed my cheek.
“YAH! We’re not in that kind of relationship yet!” I pulled my face away from his. “Well, then, what relationship are we in?” He smirked, cocking an eyebrow.
“Friends!”
“Well, that’s a definite improvement from enemies.”
“Shut up.”
I got up from the bed and walked over to the washroom, realizing that I actually kind of did like it. Whether Jaejoong was being annoying or being endearingly sweet, I enjoyed both personalities, because they both didn’t care about what I looked like.
“So, are you still going to take me up on my offer?”
If you want to thank me, then fall in love with me.
“NEVER!” I shrieked, to the sound of musical laughter.

“Junsu, that looks great on you.”
We were taking a stroll down Robson street, with its glamorous stores that sold the absolute highest of high fashion. Currently, we were in Burberry, after heading to Lacoste and Louis Vuitton, and Changmin had wrapped himself into a suede black coat, while Junsu accepted a houndstooth hat, and Micky settled for a pair of sepia Ray-Bans. Yunho looked at the price tags and started to move further away from the clothes, while Jaejoong looked highly disinterested. I amused myself by being their fashion consultant-as, honestly, if even Yunho couldn’t afford this, I’d become bankrupt just by staring at the garments.
“Really? You think so?”
He pulled out a camera and started taking pictures, while I posed beside him. As the camera snapped, a dark figure suddenly stood beside me.
“Bored?”
Jaejoong smirked, looking perfect as always. I couldn’t help but notice how underdressed I seemed beside him-he looked like a model from the store, even though he was from a foreign country. Dressed in a grey jacket and black loafers, though he was in a casual style, he looked intensely significant compared to the rest of us.
“Nah. Just broke.” He chuckled at my reply.
“Let’s do something with just the two of us.”
“What-”
My sentence was never finished, though, because Jaejoong had already taken a firm grip on my arm and was yanking me out through the door.
