Asking Chanyeol for something when he is upset is troublesome.

Asking Chanyeol for anything when he is depressed and guilty is a disaster, as you found out when you phoned Chanyeol the next day. He was in his hyperactive mode, eager to please and make up for all the wrongs he had done. That is an extremely irritable and sticky Chanyeol and you held the phone a distance away from you as his voice boomed into the receiver.

"_____________ ! You're not mad at me anymore? And my brother? We visited him a few weeks back at Gyeonggi-do, you want to visit him again? I'll go with you!" He chirped.

"No, I don't need you to go with me, Chanyeol-ah."

"But, I wanted to make up to you, plus, I can go back and visit my family for a while!"

"Boss won't like it that both of us are out of the office."

"Oh, that... but Sooyung would think of a solution! She's on such good terms with the boss."

"You mean she's got a crush on the boss, I'm not sure whether fawning over him counts as being on good terms."

"I'm sure a day won't make much of a difference! I'll be there to pick you up! When do you want to go?"

"Later at about 1230 after lunch? But look, Chanyeol ah, I really don't need you to g--"

"I'll be there at 12! See you!" He hung up before you could say no.

Kyungsoo, who was sitting beside you watching your conversation, lifted his eyebrows.

Dang. Chanyeol is coming with us.

You were partially grateful you don't have to open your mouth this time.

Although Kyungsoo's car was spacious, three is a squeeze, figuratively speaking. It had taken some time for you to convince Chanyeol to either take his own car whilst you ride with Kyungsoo, or he'd ride with the two of you in Kyungsoo's car. He went reluctantly with the latter.

Chanyeol had, upon seeing Kyungsoo, got confused and then fumed.

"Gonna knock me right over and swerve you away..." Kyungsoo had told you were his exact words. But Chanyeol hadn't, because you were there and he didn't want to risk losing anymore points considering how bad his report was currently.

He didn't seemed to mind when you introduced Kyungsoo as your boyfriend to him, thinking it's just 'temporary", as he put it and Kyungsoo related the message.

So it was, the three of you sat silent in the car, with Chanyeol sulking in the backseat, moving towards Gyeonggi-do. Or rather, Chanyeol was silent and you were mind conversing with Kyungsoo, with him either mouthing a reply or passing knowing smiles to you.

So what do you supposed Chanyeol would do if I kiss you right now?

Kyungsoo smiled and did a slit throat gesture.

He won't since I'm here. Plus he doesn't seem to get it.

Both of you glanced in his direction at the same time.

"What?" Chanyeol barked, mostly at Kyungsoo.

"I'm just wondering what we'll be eating later." You chipped in.

"Oh, there's a really good restaurant just near my house I can bring you there!" Chanyeol started picking up this thread of conversation with enthusiasm. It went on for quite a whille and it was obvious Chanyeol wasn't thinking of bringing any one else there but you.

"I'm sure Kyungsoo will like the spaghetti you mentioned just now." You nodded.

Kyungsoo gave a discerned smile.

"He's quite good with cooking. The one he made for me yesterday night was delicious."

"You... He... was with you yesterday night?" Chanyeol's voice was low.

"Oh, yes, he stayed for the night." You purposely left out the part where Kyungsoo had stayed to look after you but slept on the couch.

Chanyeol was quiet once again.

You didn't know what he was thinking about, but judging by the way Kyungsoo was stifling his laughter, he should be pretty sure where his place is in the car. Just when you thought the reality should finally sink in for him, Chanyeol blurted out.

"I can cook spaghetti too... I mean... after I learnt how to..."

You snickered at this comment, as the three of you neared the house.
