Lee Joon’s POV:

Those stupid, stupid ninjas.

WHAT PART OF KIDNAP PIERRE AND STEAL MONA LISA AND M-13 DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND?

THERE ISN’T A KIDNAP HYERIM IN THE FREAKING LIST!

Gosh. These stubborn ninjas are stupid.

And why is Woohyun following me?

I stop in my tracks and Woohyun bumps into me.

I scoff and continue walking.

Where are those irritating ninjas?

Then my phone rings.

“Hello?”

“Lee Joon. Did you get the Mona Lisa and the M-13 yet?”

“We got Pierre,” I say with a satisfied smirk.

“Good. Oh, by the way, you’ll be leaving tomorrow instead of tonight.”

“What? Why the delay?”

“I have my ninjas do a special thing for me.”

I can see him smirk over the phone. And I want to slap it off.

I immediately hang up on him and slide my phone into my pocket.

What does he need to kidnap HyeRim for?

And how did they freaking kidnap her? Won’t their faces be deformed?

Rain really has his ways.

 

Rain’s POV:

I lean back on my chair and smile.

Kidnapping HyeRim is a great idea.

I know Lee Joon is dating her from my dear midget, Seohee. So, I want to see how’d he react when he sees his dear girlfriend gone.

I laugh at that thought.

I’m such a genius.

No, I’m not a mental patient. I’m just a freaking genius admiring his own plans.

I take out my phone to call my dear friend, Jong Kook.

But then, one of the ninjas decides to call me.

“Yes?” I say impatiently.

“We got her boss!”

I sit up and my eyes widen.

“Really?”

“Yeah!”

I stay silent for a moment. Those stupid ninjas actually kidnapped HyeRim, the coldest, scariest spy from Siwon’s company. I heard she beat the Seohee from their company simply because she said something about family…

Yet, my ninjas managed to kidnap her. Amazing.

“Boss?”

I snap out of my thoughts.

“Yes, that’s wonderful. Where are you now?”

“In the plane!”

What…

“ARE YOU AN IDIOT? YOU ARE ON THE FREAKING PLANE. NO PHONES. I DON’T CARE IF YOU WORK FOR AN EVIL GENIUS. NO PHONES ON THE PLANE!”

Then, I hang up on my idiotic ninjas. Oh gosh.

I rub my temples.

“They give me a headache,” I mutter under my breath.

 

Woohyun’s POV:

I sit on the steps of heading to the second floor.

I stopped following Lee Joon a few minutes ago.

“It’s your fault. It’s your fault,” I mumble to myself.

I cannot take it anymore.

I was friend-zoned by the only person I love.

Then she gets kidnapped…

All because of my stupidity.

If only I didn’t look for her.

If only I didn’t know her boyfriend is actually the enemy.

If only I didn’t know that our kiss was a big mistake.

If only I didn’t kiss her in front of Lee Joon.

If only…

I sigh in frustration.

I stand up and punch the glass. The glass shatters and my hand bleeds. Tears start falling before I can stop it.

I cannot believe what I had done.

I bite my lower lip to taste my own blood.

I run my not-bleeding hand through my hair.

I guess I should be going now.

HyeRim, I’m sorry.

 

HyeRim’s POV:

I wake up feeling stiff and groggy.

I try to stretch my arms but I find them tied.

It’s dark, I can’t see anything.

Where am I?

I try to stand but find my legs tied too.

Then all the pieces fit into place…

I wandered around the Louvre looking for Pierre after the incident.

Tears fall but I didn’t bother to wipe them away.

I cannot believe Woohyun did that…

I sat down on the platform Pierre was standing on earlier after walking around the Louvre once. Well, only the first floor.

Just then, someone covered my mouth with a piece of cloth.

I tried to struggle but I felt my body growing weak.

Then, the world turned black…

I look at my surroundings—my eyes adjusted to the dark already—I’m in some kind of storeroom…

I faintly hear the sound of an engine…

Wait a minute. Engine? Storeroom? Why am I on a plane?

I see a door in front of me.

I scoot a little nearer to the door and kick it.

As expected, I hear a muffled ‘open the door! What if it’s a ghost!’

I roll my eyes. Is it just me, or are the ninjas stupid? They put me here and they still think it’s a ghost kicking the door. Oh gosh.

One of the idiotic ninjas opens the door.

“It’s not a ghost you guys! It’s the girl Rain hyung told us to kidnap!” he calls out to the other stupid ninjas.

“What do you want?” he snarls at me.

“This storage is pretty cramped… So can you let me sit one of those nice airplane seats?” I ask, batting my eyelashes.

“Y-Yes, I w-will t-t-take you out n-now,” he stutters, a blush visible despite a mask covering half his face.

Just then, I guess one of the smarter ninjas comes and looks at me.

“You’re awake,” he says.

Something doesn’t feel right.

He snaps his fingers and another ninja comes.

He kneels down in front of me and before I know it, he covers my mouth with a cloth that I swear wasn’t there before.

Then again, the world turns black.

 

Woohyun’s POV:

I am now in the plane back to Seoul.

I absentmindedly wrap my injured hand with a bandage and I look out the window.

HyeRim, I’m coming.

I look at the empty seat beside me, where HyeRim would have sit.

Why do I keep thinking about her?

Why do I still love her?

Just as I was about the window in frustration, someone hold onto my wrist.

I look at the person.

Seohee.

“Don’t,” she says softly.

I blink at her.

She sits next to me and releases her grip.

“Woohyun, I know you feel terrible about this.”

Did she see everything?

“HyeRim broke your heart, then she slapped you and pretty much stormed off without a word.”

Oh, she saw everything all right.

“I’m gonna make you forget about her.”

Her lips twist into a somewhat evil smile.

Then, she leans in to kiss me.

I try to push her away but she pins my hands down.

“You’re mine now, Woohyun,” she mumbles.

Oh gosh.
