Chapter 18: Walk arounds

I hate you Lee Sungmin!

Kyuhyun's POV~

May the torture begin, I laughed evilly to myself, as I looked at the girl behind me, who was frowning like a baby, with crossed arms. I placed my arm on her shoulder once more, I liked how it felt. Her in my hold, you know…

She snuggled in my hold, and I couldn’t help but smile. I suppose she was comfortable too.

You know the torture thing? I was kidding. I promised to a certain someone I was going to take her to this stupid place, and I promised to actually show her around. Jeez! I’m not a liar. I furrowed my eyebrows to myself, as the girl next to me wriggled slightly.

“What are you doing?” I asked her, raising my arm that had made a rest on her shoulder.

“There’s someone here I’m not fond of. Let me go hide.” She mumbled, as she wriggled again, nuzzling her nose into my chest. I scanned the room, and sure enough Park Mi Yun was there, with some of her friends. I laughed, at the girl who was hiding her face, and I helpfully side stepped to an artefact. We were hidden from a certain someone’s view.

I laughed quietly, as I separated Sora from my frame. She wriggled, and managed to fall back onto my body once more, pulling my shirt to cover her face. “Yah, she can’t see us. You’ll be fine. You can hide later! I need to show you around now.” I finally pulled her off my body, and I watched her eyebrows sew together, as if she was in thought. “Yah, it’ll be fine. Come on, I have a promise to execute.” I grabbed her by the hand, and lead her to the many exhibitions.

She shook her shoulders once or twice occasionally, which lead me to hold her with my arm, by the shoulder once more. I did that just to keep her still. “You’re actually keeping to your promise?” she raised her brows, as she asked me quietly. She looked up at me from under her lashes and I frowned.

“I’m not a liar. I keep promises.”

“I see, so you promised who exactly?”

“If you’re implying that I made a promise to walk to the museum you are wrong. But if you are implying that I keep you here for two hours due to a promise that is correct. I promised Sungmin Hyung.” I started walking on. “Now, let’s continue on to the museum.” I gave her a smile, before turning my gaze to an exhibition held before me. I still had her by the shoulders, so I made sure to bring her with me.

She giggled a bit, before regaining whatever posture she had previously. “So the two hours starts now I suppose.” She sighed quietly, but let me walk with her around the whole museum for the first hour.

The first hour flew past, and I still had my arm around Sora. She fit so nicely against me. I looked down at her, and she wriggled. Why she kept doing that was a good question. It was also one she refused to answer.  I had been asking numerously, and she just continued to wriggle.

“You hungry?” I asked her, looking down at the short brunette who was irritating me with her squirming. She looked up at me, and nodded. Her large grey eyes feigning pure innocence, she jutted out her bottom lip in the same manner I had done earlier when she didn’t buy me ice cream.

“Are you going to buy food for me?” she asked, blinking. Her perfectly simple done up eyes blinked at me in a manner that made my heart flutter.

I pretended to let out a bored sigh. “It seems I have to.”

“Thank you Kyuhyunnie!” Sora cheered, clapping cutely.

“What do you want?” I queried, dragging the girl to the museum café.

“I don’t know…” she sighed, pouting.

“Fine, we’ll just eat a small meal, two grilled field mushrooms please.” I ordered politely, and with a smile. The woman serving us winked, and I withheld the blush.

“Anything else you would like to order?”

“Yah, you want a drink?” I poked Sora, who was staring into space, her big grey eyes staring blankly at the price board.

“I’ll just have orange juice.” She muttered, snapping out of her daydream.

“Orange juice and a caramel Frappuccino, please.” With a smile, the woman serving us swiftly made my Frappuccino and handed Sora’s orange juice in a glass neighbouring mine.

I sighed as I took our drinks and let Sora find us a table. One found, we seated ourselves and waited patiently for our food. I tapped my fingers against the table and stared at Sora, who was looking at everything blankly. She seemed so off-ish all of a sudden. I poked her in the arm softly, and she blinked at me, snapping out of her previous state and glaring at me confused. Smiling softly, I shrugged. I guess the quiet is strange now, because I live with the whole of Super Junior.

She looked down at her tall glass of orange juice, wistfully turning the straw in circles as if suddenly shy. I sighed loudly, and she blinked at me her grey eyes confused.

“You’re so quiet, it’s boring me.” I huffed, blowing air into my cheeks just to be adorable.

“I-I don’t know…” Sora mused, pursing her heart shaped lips and staring into space once more. She mindlessly fiddled with the bracelets hanging loosely around her small wrists. Her fringe fell and she blew it away cutely her eyes fixated on the offending hair.  “Sorry…” she mumbled, ducking her head into her chest.

“Are you tired from all the walking we did?”

“Sort of…” she dragged on, shrugging her shoulders.

I didn’t say anything; didn’t know what to. Finally, after a few more quiet moments of staring at art displays, and reading information leaflets, I cleared my throat.

“Let’s just sit for a bit. We both have sore-ish feet, right?” I smiled at her, playing with her fringe. She nodded, returning the smile, and leading us to a lone bench. We sat together, side by side, close enough we were touching. She smelled like a bouquet of flowers.

It was quiet again, I thought. She was really quiet today. I guess I could live with that for a bit. I looked down at her, and she rested her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm round her shoulder like I normally do. I heard her exhale, as she made herself comfortable, not that I minded.

It was already a quarter of an hour that had passed, but in all honesty, it felt like seconds. I checked my watch, and we still had floors to finish, unless Sora just wanted to remain by the first few floors. I wasn’t going to force her into anything. I’m not that type of person.

“Do you want to look at the other exhibitions?” I asked, softly. Sora nodded, taking my hand instead. This was interesting. “Let’s go to the floor above, yeah?”

Sora hummed in response, and I patted her head gently with my free hand. I swung our linked hands back and forth, and indulged in the laugh that Sora made. She sounded beautiful.

Together, with our linked hands, we skipped up the escalator to the floor above. Her grey eyes were finally lighting up and I could see the mischievous come back to life. We reached the landing, and she did a little pirouette, before calming down from her random high. I couldn’t help but chuckle, loving everything she did.

Oh, did I say love?

It doesn’t matter, moving on.

We spent the last forty-five minutes actually looking at the exhibition. Finally, Sora opened to talk, and we discussed everything in sight. How different paintings were before, before the existence of cameras, and how simplistic pictures can have a deep meaning. We talked about what colour I should dye my hair if I was going to. We agreed that blonde would be drastic, but hilarious and brown would be fairly calm and not very exciting.

It was too soon, our time was up too quickly. I felt bad, because it looked like Sora was really having fun.  From my pocket, I took out my phone and decided it would be best to call for one of the hyungs to call.

“Who do you think is best to call?” Sora piped, watching me as I scrolled through my contacts, deciding.

“I don’t know, are any of the hyungs busy? I’m sure Sungmin, Ryeowook, and Yesung hyung are out with their own schedules… and… Heechul, Leeteuk, Shindong and Eunhyuk hyung are too.”

“Then why don’t you call whoever isn’t busy. What about Siwon oppa?” I shrugged, that was plain common sense, I knew. So I did, call for Siwon Hyung. He was cool about picking us up we just had to wait for a bit, he promised.

“Did you hear the conversation?” I asked Sora. “Siwon Hyung is coming to pick us up soon. We have to go outside to wait though.” She smiled, letting me lead her outside, where it was painfully warm.

I noticed it immediately, but she didn’t. She breathed in, and laughed. “It’s so lovely that it’s sunny, right?”

“It’s so warm though.” I groaned, fanning myself by using the bottom of my shirt, and flapping it, so I got some cool air to blow underneath my shirt. It felt quite good to be honest. Sora just rolled her eyes, and seated herself on the stone wall, waiting for a van of some sort to come pick us up.

Suddenly, I felt a hand and a force. She slapped the side of my head!

“Yah, what was that for?”

“I was still mad at you for this morning.”

“Oh.”

I guess these new feelings will have to wait, until I fix myself first.

So this was crap... but I managed an update, and I know what I'm doing now. I'm not prancing like I was before. I have a serious plot in mind, mind you.

I'm trying harder to write something worthwhile, and argh. This is crap.

Well, I guess.... till the next update. I hope I do it soon...
