after yuri dialled seohyun's number...

"hello?"

"hyunnie, where are you? the ride is already finish. we're going to the horror house." yuri said

"oh, you can go there first, i'll just follow you. i'm walking around the park. i'll just give you a call if i want some company, okay?"

"are you sure? i feel guilty leaving you on your own. just take care okay? if something bad happen to you, kyu will kill us."

"don't worry about him. i can handle myself. just enjoy this day, okay? bye!"

after seohyun ended the call, he heard a man's voice behind her.

"who are you talking to? is that you're boyfriend?"

because of curiosity, she looked back and saw kyuhyun. she hurriedly ran to him and gave him a warm and tight hug.

"you miss me already? why you didn't told me you're alone? what if you'll be lost again like the last time?" kyuhyun said worriedly

"i was about to call you after my call with yuri but you found me first." seohyun said

"good thing i decided to walk for a while, so how's the two?"

"hmmmm.... so far, they're enjoying each other's company. they're on their way to the horror house, do you want to go?"

"sure! maybe i can get another hug from you inside, hahaha"

"we'll see about that"

after the call ended...

"what did seohyun said? where is she?" donghae asked

"she's walking around the park and told me she'll give me a call if she needed company" yuri said

"is that so? i thought she's already gone."

"you're worried about her, aren't you?"

donghae was shocked on yuri's question.

"what do you mean?" he asked

"i mean, do you still love her?"

there was silence for a while, then donghae speak up.

"well, it's not that easy to forget someone you love. she's the first girl i really cared about so i guess it's not that easy to change my feelings towards her."

another silence filled the air, then it was their turn to enter the horror house. inside, yuri was still thinking about donghae's words before they entered the horror house.

"so all this time, she still loves my bestfriend. how lucky she is to have two guys caring for her so much." yuri thought to herself.

without the two knowing, seohyun and kyuhyun were following them. then seohyun noticed the distance between the two.

"hmmmmm... there's something wrong. why there's no interaction between them?" seohyun said

"maybe they're not that scared." kyuhyun answered

"that can't be, yuri hates watching horror movies and entering horror house because she easily gets scared."

"maybe we can ask them later what happened."

after leaving the horror house, donghae and yuri walked silently. there's an awkward atmosphere between them, so donghae break the silence.

"hey, is something bothering you? you're not talking since we entered the horror house."

suddenly, yuri stopped walking so donghae walked towards her where she's standing.

"what's wrong?" donghae asked

yuri started to tear up and said,

"what if i tell you i have feelings for you? would that change your feelings for seohyun?"

donghae smiled at her and wiped her tears.

"stop crying. you know you can't force the heart to beat for someone else. maybe someday, this will beat for you. we can never can tell. honestly, i like you but i can't force myself to love you because i don't want to hurt you." donghae said

yuri was shocked on the sudden confession.

"wh-- what did you say? you like me?"

"yes, i like you. so can you promise me one thing?"

"what promise?"

"can you wait for me until my heart starts to beat for you?"

yuri was touched by donghae's words. her tears continued to fall down so donghae pulled her to a hug. then they heard someone clapping. when both of them pull from the hug, they saw seohyun and kyuhyun. seohyun ran to her bestfriend and gave her a hug while kyuhyun wrapped his arm on donghae's shoulder.

"i'm so happy for you. i guess our plan worked." seohyun said

"what do you mean? you planned all this?" yuri asked

"well, i planned the bonding time between you but i didn't expect the confession part." seohyun said

"so you heard all of it?" yuri asked

"hmmmm... yes?" seohyun said

"donghae, i'm so proud of you, but i have to keep seohyun's distance to you, hahaha" kyuhyun said

"why? are you scared i might steal her from you?" donghae asked

"of course not, have you forgotten? i'm princekyu and no one can resist my charms. so are you really serious about yuri? i don't want her to get hurt since she's my girlfriend's bestfriend. if i'll see her crying and it's because of you, you might begin to hide yourself for the rest of your life."

"i know that, and i'm serious about what i said. you know i hate broken promises right?"

"good. so are you all hungry? let's grab something to eat shall we?" kyuhyun said

kyuhyun extended her left hand to seohyun and she grabbed it. yuri was touched by their interaction and donghae noticed it so he grabbed yuri's hand and they walked hand in hand. seohyun checked on her friend and saw the two blushing. she saw their hands clasped togehter and she felt at ease that finally, someone makes her friend special.
