“Are you sure nothing happened to you unnie?” asked Lisa worriedly.

She just came back to work and she’s literally shocked to know what happened two days ago!

“You could have called us..” said RM while driving.

He knows that Jisoo does have some quite obsessive fans and he fears them following her around..

“I didn’t want to disturb you on your dayoff..” said Jisoo smiling to assure them. “And I told you I called the police-..”

And then she remembered that policeman again..

Good thing he was able to come right away.. 

“Why unnie?” asked Lisa looking at her closely. “Why have your cheeks gone red?”

Jisoo cleared as she held her cheeks.

They indeed turned hot.. why is that?

“We should turn the AC on..” she said smiling a little as she fanned herself.

“It’s on already..” said RM looking at her through the mirror. “Are you feeling hot? Are you sick?”

Lisa put a hand on her forehead right away.

“You seem okay but your cheeks are red..” she said looking confused.

Jisoo pushed her hands away.

“I’m completely fine.. it’s just-..”

Lisa’s brows furrowed.

“Just.. what?” she asked staring at her.

Jisoo gulped.

Why did she have to think of that policeman again? And why have her cheeks gone red? She must be crazy!

“Nothing..” she said smiling before turning her head towards the window.

Such a good day today.. it’s quite hot but still fine because it’s summer..

She was staring outside the window when the stoplight turned red.

The car stopped just in front of the police station..

She unknowingly tried to look more carefully at the policemen outside..

Is that person there?

Does he work here? Or maybe not..

She took something out of her pocket and held it tightly..

“Kim Taehyung..” she uttered his name softly.

Why can’t this guy leave her mind? 

Why is she so interested in him?

He doesn’t even recognize her!

She was thinking to herself when Lisa tapped her arm..

“Unnie.. what time do you want me to come to your house tomorrow?”

Jisoo raised her brows.

Tomorrow? Why?

“It’s director Park’s birthday..” said RM. “You got an invitation..”

“I did?” asked Jisoo baffled. “You didn’t tell me though..”

“I’m sorry.. I forgot about it but I have cleared your schedule already..” RM replied.

Jisoo chuckled.

“Then it’s all set..” she said nodding her head. “5 pm should be okay..”

Lisa nodded.

Taehyung was looking onto the old cases when Jennie sat in front of him.

“Another case of a missing pet just arrived.. want to take it?” she asked smiling.

Taehyung’s eyes narrowed.

“It’s not a cat this time..” said Jennie immediately. “It’s a parrot..”

Taehyung sighed.

“Aren’t you interested?” asked Jennie pouting. “I thought you would like it.. you found Pretty really quick..”

At the mention of that cat, Taehyung got reminded of Jisoo..

Kim Jisoo.. that’s right.. her name is Kim Jisoo.. that actress he couldn’t recognize a few nights ago..

He doesn’t really watch anything apart from the news that’s why he didn’t really remember seeing her..

“Where did you find that cat exactly?” asked Jennie curiously.

“Just.. at someone else’s house..” Taehyung replied quickly as his eyes went to the papers he was holding.

Jennie laughed a little.

Her eyes went to the tv just in front of the two of them.

“No one is even watching..” she said to herself.

She took the remote control of the television to turn it off but Taehyung suddenly held her arm making her stop.

“Why?” asked Jennie confused as she looked at him. “What is it-..?”

She saw him staring at the television.

What is it that makes him look this serious?

She turned her head towards the tv and saw a cosmetic ad playing.. a lipstick ad to be precise..

“Do you like Kim Jisoo? I didn’t know you were a fan of her..” said Jennie preventing herself from smiling.

She has never seen him pay attention to any celebrity like this before!

Taehyung took the remote control from her and turned the tv off.

“You know her?” he asked clearing his throat.

Jennie smiled wider.

So Mr. Almost Perfect’s ideal type is Kim Jisoo? This is a great news!

“Of course.. I also like her.. she’s really pretty..” Jennie replied. “She’s also a good actress-..”

“I found Pretty at her house..” said Taehyung making Jennie speechless.

“W-whaaat?” Jennie’s mouth fell open. “You went to her place-..?”

“That call from the other night about a possibly intruder..” said Taehyung putting the papers away as he looked at Jennie who was still in shock. “It was her..”

“Why didn’t you tell me anything?” asked Jennie feeling unfair. 

Taehyung shrugged his shoulders.

“She’s quite weird in person..” he said standing up. “Maybe even more than you..”

Jennie laughed.

“Did you just insult me?” she said chuckling as she also rose on her feet and put her arm around his shoulders. “How dare you do that to your superior!”

Taehyung laughed as he gently pulled himself away.

“My superior must have a lot of time to spare.. can’t you see all these cases I need to look into?” he said complaining.

Jennie patted his head.

“I’ll leave you alone now.. you should work hard!” she said running away.

A few moments later, Jimin came in smiling from ear to ear..

Taehyung sighed.

He hates this guy the most.. and seeing him smile like this, he knows he’s about to again..

“Why don’t you just admit that you like Jennie?” he asked nudging his elbow. “I saw you two hugging just now..”

Taehyung pushed him away.

“You must have seen it wrong..” he said quickly as he went to the photocopy machine. 

Jimin followed him.

“You two look great together.. Jennie is pretty and you-..”

He stopped when he saw Taehyung’s eyes shooting fire.

“And you should start working now..” said Taehyung in a stern voice.

Jimin nodded.

“Yes Sir!” he said aloud.

Taehyung sighed as soon as he entered the restaurant.

Jimin begged him to spend time with him tonight saying it was his birthday but.. why are there two women sitting with him at the same table?

He knew this guy was up to no good..

Why did he have get himself fooled?

“Taehyung!” Jimin waved his hand at him.

He knows he’s gonna have to pay for this..

But can’t he just think that he’s helping him around?

If he doesn’t like Jennie then he should find himself another woman!

Taehyung glared at him as he sat beside him.

“Happy Birthday..” he said gritting his teeth.

The two women looked confused.

“Is it your birthday today?” one of them asked.

Jimin forced himself to laugh.

Why did he have to say it in front of these girls?

“Well.. everyday is like my birthday..” he said smiling awkwardly. 

He cleared his throat a little.

“Shall we order something now so we can start introducing ourselves?” 

A few moments later..

“What kind of work do you do?” one the women asked.

Jimin gulped.

He should have told Taehyung to lie about their job.. this guy wouldn’t tell them that they are policemen, would he?

“We are po-..” Taehyung was about to answer but Jimin was quick to cover his mouth.

“We are office workers..” he said fast.

Taehyung pushed his hand away.
