“Are you sure you’re okay? Doesn’t it hurt?” asked Jisoo still worried. “Shouldn’t you stay in the hospital?”

Taehyung chuckled.

She is too cute for him.. how can he possible stay in the hospital for a single bruise?

“RM oppa should have gone to the hospital instead..” said Jisoo sighing. “What if you get infected or-..?”

Taehyung held her cheeks and kissed gently.

“I’m fine..” he said smiling. “Stop worrying about me..”

Jisoo heaved another sigh.

“But-..”

Taehyung kissed her again.

He can’t get enough of those lips..

“It’s getting late now.. I should drive you home..” he said looking straight into her eyes. 

Jisoo pursed her lips.

It’s true it’s getting late but she doesn’t want to leave him alone..

She did insist on coming with him home and RM and Lisa had to drive them to Mr. Kim’s house..

Well.. RM scolded both of them a little.. or maybe too much..

But what was she supposed to do?

When she heard that Mr. Kim got hurt, her heart stopped beating!

Good thing, the Chief promised to delete all the CCTVs and to shut everyone’s mouths..

She didn’t know she started tearing up again until Taehyung wiped her tears.

“Why?” he asked caressing her cheeks softly. “I said I’m fine.. it’s just a bruise.. it will be gone soon..”

Jisoo pulled his face even closer to hers.. their noses touching..

“Promise me you will never get hurt again..” she said almost whispering. “We.. we haven’t-..”

She stopped as she looked into his eyes.

Taehyung raised his brows together.

“We haven’t..?” he asked curiously.

Jisoo bit her lower lip.

“We haven’t even got married yet..” she said embarrassedly.

Taehyung gulped.

Was she worrying about that?

Jisoo felt even more embarrassed not hearing anything from him.

She hit him lightly on his chest as she looked away from him

“I mean.. I would love it if we got married.. then.. maybe we-..”

Taehyung lifted her chin.

“Maybe we..?” he asked as he smiled onesidedly.

Jisoo tried to pull herself away but Taehyung wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Why don’t you finish what you have to say?” he asked making Jisoo’s cheeks turn red.

“Maybe.. we.. can have a baby..” she said biting her lower lip.

Taehyung’s lips curled up into a smile.

“We will..” he said before touching her lips with his.

He is going to make her dream come true..

He remembers her telling him about it.. that she would like to be a wife and a mother someday..

He knows it’s too early to think about it.. but he would have never asked her to date him if he hadn’t thought of marriage and building a family with her..

And ever since he confessed to her.. her dream just became his dream too..

Jisoo’s hands moved towards the back of his head.. her fingers through his hair.. her lips in between his.. their breaths mingled..

She never knew she needed someone like this..

She has never fallen for anyone this deep..

Mr. Kim has made her go through things she has never felt before..

They were still kissing when the door flew open and there entered Taehyung’s parents..

“Omo!” Nadine covered with both hands as her knees went weak.

Arthur was quick to hold her.

Both of them were completely surprised to see their son with a woman.. to be precise.. kissing a woman.. not just any woman.. but Jisoo..

“Mom!” said Taehyung loudly as he hid Jisoo behind his back. “You said you’d ring the doorbell, didn’t you?”

Nadine was still in shock.

“Why didn’t you change the code if you were doing something with Jisoo?” she replied not wanting to lose.

Taehyung sighed as he glanced at Jisoo behind him.

That was so embarrassing!

Jisoo-ssi must have been surprised!

“Uhmm.. I’m.. sorry..” said Jisoo going before Taehyung who still looked frustrated.

Nadine and Arthur turned to each other.

“No..” they said at the same time.

Then Nadine took a step towards her and held her hands.

“Jisoo-ssi.. perhaps.. are you dating-..?”

“We are dating..” said Taehyung quickly. “We wanted to tell you soon but we didn’t have time as we were both busy with work..”

Jisoo had her eyes lowered to the floor.

What if his mom doesn’t like her?

She couldn’t even give a good first impression!

Why did they have to be caught kissing passionately?

Heavens must be having a blast right now!

“What a great news!” said Nadine jumping out of joy as she pulled Jisoo into her arms.

Taehyung was quick to separate them.

“Mom.. do not act like this.. Jisoo-ssi might feel uncomfortable.. why don’t you act like dad-..?”

Then he saw his dad taking a selfie with Jisoo.

He sighed.

He has always been a proud son but probably.. it might change now..

Jisoo felt like her stomach would burst..

She has never eaten so much homemade food like this..

Mr. Kim’s mom keeps on feeding her like there is no tomorrow..

“My daughter looks so pretty when eating..” said Nadine as she caressed Jisoo’s hair.

Jisoo smiled.

She feels like she’s turned into a little girl now..

Mr. Kim’s mom keeps giving her praises.. and she looks at her like she has seen something very precious.. 

“Omo.. I can’t believe my son..” Nadine said as she turned to Taehyung who was eating silently. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner? I almost had a heart attack before..”

“I’m sorry.. Mrs. Kim..” said Jisoo as she rose on her feet and bowed her head.

Nadine pushed her down to sit again.

“You don’t need to be sorry..” she said smiling wide at her. “And you can call me mom from now on..”

Jisoo’s eyes went to Taehyung first.

Why is his mom acting up tonight?

Can’t she leave his Jisoo alone?

“Mom.. please do not make her uncomfortable-..”

Jisoo shook her head.

“Alright.. mom..” she said smiling.

The word “mom” has always been hard to pronounce for her..

Her current relationship with her mom made it hard to do so..

And seeing Mr. Kim’s mom treating her very nice is making her heart swell with joy..

“Thank you.. mom..” she said looking at Nadine.

She likes it that Mr. Kim’s mom seems to be fond of her.. she’s very sweet to her.. it looks like they will get along pretty well..

But.. about Mr. Kim’s dad..

Her eyes went to Arthur slowly..

He isn’t saying anything to her.. but she would catch him looking at her..

Perhaps.. does he not like her?

But he did take a photo with her earlier..

Did he change his mind now? Is it because he caught her kissing Mr. Kim?

Does he think she is an easy woman?

Oh no..she needs to do something for him to like her too!

She was busy overthinking when Arthur spoke to her..

“The little girl crying .. has grown up to be a strong woman now..” 

All eyes went to him..

Jisoo’s brows furrowed.

Is he.. referring to her? Did Mr. Kim’s father.. know her?

Arthur’s lips curled up.

“It was you, Jisoo, right?” he said smiling at her. “That little girl who bravely came to the police station to report your abusive uncle..”

Jisoo’s tears fell down before she knew it..

Wait.. years ago.. that policeman.. it was.. Mr. Kim’s father?

“It was you.. ahjussi?” she asked crying.

Arthur nodded.

He was able to recognize her since the night she treated him and Nadine to dinner.. and he was happy to see her grow up to be the woman she is now..

And even happier this moment to know that she is dating his son..

“Thank you.. mom.. dad..” said Jisoo embarrassedly.

Nadine and Arthur were going home after surprising her and Taehyung.

“We’ll see each other soon.. maybe you can come to see us home..” said Nadine hugging her tightly.

Jisoo nodded.

“I will definitely do that.. we can go shopping together too..” she said smiling.

Then Nadine saw her son putting on a jacket.

“Where are you going?” she asked curiously. 

“I need to drive Jisoo-ssi home.. it’s late and-..”

Nadine hit him on his arm startling Taehyung.

“Why?” he asked confused.

Nadine hit him on his arm again but Jisoo pulled Taehyung beside her.

“Can you please not hit him hard? Mr. Kim is already injured..” she said looking worried.

Taehyung’s cheeks turned red.
