"Good morning, everyone!" Seohyun cheerily greeted her family when she went in the kitchen. She saw her brother cooking breakfast so she kissed her mom's cheek and sat on her seat. The dining table was full of the food Onew cooked for them and he cooked everything fitted to be eaten in the morning. He cooked Hams, Pancakes, Hotdogs, Hash Browns, Bacons and Eggs.

Mrs. Lee sighed and smiled at her daughter from across the table. "My daughter's all grown up."
Seohyun choked on her orange juice and wiped the corners of with a table napkin. "What do you mean, mom?"

"Oh, nothing. There's just something different with you today and it's as if a very bright glow is around you." Her mom drew circles in the air as if they were all around her daughter's body's outline. "Did anything happen lately?"

"Yeah, Seobaby. I noticed it, too." Onew winked, placing a pancake on her plate before sitting on his seat beside her. Seohyun decided not to tell them anything yet so she shrugged and turned the center of attention to her brother instead. "So, oppa. How was your date yesterday?"

"Oh, right!" Mrs. Lee grinned. "Did you take her home safely? How was your date? Did the two of you have fun?"

"Mom," Onew groaned but laughed after. "You know how a gentleman your son is, right? Of course I took her home after our date. We went to an amusement park and had dinner in a restaurant then I drove her home."

"Good." Mrs. Lee nodded then glanced at her wristwatch. "Seohyun, dear. We should get going in 10 minutes."

"Okay, Mom." Seohyun nodded, digging in her yummy breakfast. "Thanks for the breakfast, oppa!"

After cleaning up and brushing her teeth, Mrs. Lee drove the two of them to school and much to their surprise, Yonghwa was already waiting for them in the parking lot. He opened the door of the backseat and smiled. "Good morning, Mrs. Lee- I mean, Ma'am!"

"Good morning, Yonghwa." Mrs. Lee nodded, unbuckling her seatbelt and fixing her hair, stifling a laugh. Seohyun got down the van and  Yonghwa closed the door. While they walked to the building, he held out his hand and Seohyun raised a brow at him. "What is it, Yonghwa?"

"Your bag." Yonghwa smiled.

"Why? What's wrong with my bag?" Seohyun asked as they walked toward the front glass doors. Yonghwa chuckled and took her shoulder bag away from her and placing it over his shoulder.

"Hey, that's my bag!" Seohyun pouted, trying to get her bag back but Yonghwa shook his head and stopped her from grabbing it. "It's a boyfriend's responsibility to carry his girlfriend's bag."

Although Seohyun's cheeks blushed from hearing him call her his girlfiend, Seohyun shook her head and took her bag back onto her shoulder. "No, I don't think the same way. I can carry my own bag, Yonghwa, I have two hands."

"But-"

"No," Seohyun chuckled. "Should we argue about this? I never liked the idea of guys carrying a girl's bag, unless she has a handicap. I'll carry my own bag, and that's it, okay?"

Yonghwa sighed and nodded his head. "That's why I like you."

I'm never going to get used to this. Seohyun blushed. "What are you talking about?"

He stopped walking and Seohyun followed. Now they were just in front of their first period class and Yonghwa leaned closer to her face, making Seohyun's face redder than it already was.

"You're not like any other girl I met before. You're unique, Seohyun, and I like it. I like you."

Not knowing what to say to that, Seohyun just nodded and went in the classroom with her flushed face. Yonghwa chuckled, watching her as she quickly went in without looking back. He shrugged and went in after her not aware of the eyes that had noticed them since going in the building.

"Is there something between them?"

"They look close."

"Too close."

"Something's fishy about those two."

" I know right?"

"Do you think that the Lee Seohyun and the Jung Yonghwa are together?"

"I give up on life."

"OMG, they actually look cute together."

"... and Napoleon Bonaparte always gets ridiculed because he was said to be short..."

Yonghwa tapped the head of his pencil on his desk, bored from Professor Zhang's History lecture about the leaders of past wars. He stared at Seohyun's back, since she was seated in front of him for this class, and tapped her back with the pencil. When she didn't budge, he tapped her back again and again until she looked back at him. "What is it?"

"Hi." Yonghwa childishly grinned, waving his hands at her. Seohyun chuckled and shook her head. "Stop fooling around and listen to Prof. Zhang, okay?"

"But I already know about his lesson."

When she raised a brow at him he crossed his arms. "What? I read, too, you know."

Seohyun smiled and turned her back on him until the schedule ended. Prof. Zhang announced about an upcoming quiz next week and Yonghwa had made a mental note to review the lesson later. For now he picked up his bag and followed Seohyun out of the room. "Hey."

"What is it?" she replied while walking with the crowd towards her locker. Yonghwa shrugged and just walked behind her. He held her shoulders from behind and made train sounds.

"Hey, stop that." Seohyun reprimanded but it only made Yonghwa want to make more noise. “TRAIN IS INCOMING!"

Seohyun tried to keep her straight face but it disappeared quickly, to be replaced with a laugh. "Jung Yonghwa, you're really a choding."

"I'm your choding." He whispered into her ear, making her cheeks blush uncontrollably again. Seohyun walked faster toward her locker, leaving Yonghwa laughing behind. " You should really get used to my cheesy lines, you know?"

When classes ended, Yonghwa immediately went out from the classroom and walked to where Seohyun's last subject class was. It was only once a week when they have different last subjects and one of those days was today. Yonghwa had Literature while Seohyun had Music.

He was walking through the second floor corridors when he noticed a group of students by the side. He was wondering why they were really closely cuddled so he walked closer towads them and peeked from a small distance. His eyes widened in surprised from the pictures and things he heard but he walked on and met with Seohyun. She was already waiting for him outside the piano room since he texted her to wait for him. "You ready to go?"

When Seohyun smiled and nodded, she stood beside him and they walked together towards the stairs. The paino room was at the third floor and while they were going down, Yonghwa smiled. "Do you want to see people happy or sad?"

"What kind of question is that?" Seohyun asked him.

"Happy or sad?" Yonghwa pressed.

"Happy, of course."

Yonghwa stopped going down the stairs and offered his arm for her. "Then link arms with me."

"Why?"

"Didn't you say that you wanted to see people happy?"

"Yes, but I don't see how it connects-"

"Just link arms with me and you'll see." Yonghwa laughed as Seohyun hesitantly linked arms with him. They continued walking down the stairs and passed by the group of students who Yonghwa passed by earlier. What shocked Seohyun was seeing students pass money to another and with big smiling faces.

"What was that all about?" she asked him when they went passed the students. Seohyun unlinked their arms but Yonghwa kept their arms in place.

"You'll see."

When they walked down towards the ground floor, a very audible sound of a mix of glee and sadness could be heard. Some students were cheering them on and congratulating them as they passed while some girls could be seen crying at the sides.

"They know about us." Yonghwa whispered when they got free from the crowd.

"What? How?" Seohyun asked, unlinking their arms and staring at him in shock. "Did you tell them?"

"Of course not!" Yonghwa laughed. "It was the school paper journalist. She saw us this morning and she immediately wrote an article making a public bet if we're together or not."

"So I guess it's out in the open now." Seohyun sighed. "It can't be helped since you're so famous in school."

"Hey, you're famous yourself!" Yonghwa smiled. "Who's the daughter of the Academy Disciplinarian here?"

Seohyun laughed and playfully slapped his arm. With a long sigh, Seohyun looked up at the clear sky. "I wonder how much they made in the bet."

"I honestly don't care." Yonghwa chuckled, linking his arm back with hers. "Now let's go. Your mom's probably waiting in the parking lot."

****

"Seohyun!"

"Huh? What?" Seohyun looked up from the blue book she was reading and turned her attention back to her frowning boyfriend beside her. Yonghwa pouted and crossed his arms like a little boy. "You weren't listening to me."

"I'm sorry, I got too engrossed with reading." Seohyun smiled at him apologetically. It was lunch break and they were sitting on a bench under a tree after having lunch in the cafeteria. "What were you talking about again?"

"As I was saying," he nodded his head, unfolding his arms. "How about we go out on a date tomorrow?"

"Really? Why?" she asked, hesitantly closing the book.

"What do you mean 'why'?" Yonghwa laughed.

"Oh, wait a sec." Seohyun fished through the pages of the book, which irritated Yonghwa, and she smiled at him. "Oh, I see. Hmm... what time do we go out tomorrow?"

"Since tomorrow is Saturday," Yonghwa closed his eyes and pursed his lips. He was too excited for their date that he disregarded how weird Seohyun acted earlier. "I'll be in front of your house tomorrow by two in the afternoon."

"Okay," Seohyun nodded.

*****the next day*****

"Seohyun!" Onew called out from the bottom of the stairs. Seohyun ran out from her room, the book in hand, and responded from the top. "Yes, oppa?"

"Aren't you supposed to be getting ready?" he asked.

"For what, oppa?"

"For your date with Yonghwa, of course!" he frowned. "Don't tell me you forgot about it."

"OH NO!" Seohyun's eyes widened in shock as she looked at the time from her wristwatch. "IT'S 1:30!"

"Yes, and you're welcome." Onew chuckled. "Now go along and fix yourself before Yonghwa arrives. Chop, chop!"

When Seohyun hastily went back in her room, Onew sighed and went in the kitchen where their mom was drinking coffee. He sat on the chair beside her and ate a banana. "Mom."

"Yes, Jinki?"

"What's that blue book Seohyun has been reading?" he asked. "She seemed too fond with it that she can't seem to focus straight anymore. Just now she almost forgot that she had a date with Yonghwa!"

"I don't know, honey." Mrs. Lee smiled. "Seohyun's new to dating, let her be. She has her ways."

"What do you mean, mom?"

"Just that." she laughed, making her son more confused.

Yonghwa leaned on the porch railing while waiting for his girlfriend to come out from her house. He was wearing a white trench coat over casual clothes and was listening to music until Seohyun finally came out. He immediately frowned after seeing her carrying that one certain blue book again.

"Mom? Oppa? I'm going out now!" She called ouut before closing the front door and facing Yonghwa. "Hi, Yong!"

Yonghwa tried hard ignoring his jealousy towards the book and smiled at Seohyun, before noticing what she's wearing. Seohyun noticed him studying and smiling at her from head to toe that she grew uncomfortable. "What?"

"It's your clothes." Yonghwa laughed, going down the porch. "We're wearing couple clothes today."

"Really?" Seohyun looked down at her casual clothes and light pink trench coat and laughed, running after Yonghwa. "Oh, this? Onew oppa told me to wear my trench coat today while I was getting ready, now I understand why."

Yonghwa laughed and fetched them a cab on the highway. The ride to the amusement park was quiet because Yonghwa noticed that Seohyun was still reading the book. How can she still read that even when I'm around? I can't believe I'm getting jealous over that book. AGH! Get a grip, Jung Yonghwa.

When they arrived, they went to a shop and bought headbands for each other. Yonghwa bought her a pink bunny ear-handband while she bought him the black ones of the same design. Yonghwa was glad that she placed the book into her bag while they were there.

Together they bought ice cream and strolled around until they arrived in front of a horror house. Yonghwa, feeling manly and responsible, cleared his throat and touched Seohyun's arm. "Do you want to go in there?"

"Will you be okay in there?" she asked instead, making him laugh. "Lee Seohyun, I'm the man here, of course I'll be okay. It's you I'm concerned about."

"I want to try getting in there." Seohyun nodded. "I haven't been to a horror house before but I want to go in there with you."

That had increased Yonghwa's confidence and he led her in. In the first few minutes they were inside, Yonghwa and Seohyun stood close together and walked side by side but when they took further steps Yonghwa held Seohyun's arm. She looked at him, adjusting her eyes to the dim house. "Are you okay? Do you want to go back outside?"

"No." Yonghwa said almost immediately, making her giggle. "You know, Yonghwa. You could just tell me that you're scared of horror houses. Why do boys pretend like they're always so strong?"

"Hey, don't generalize. I’m just," Yonghwa huffed, but still holding on to her arm. "Forget it."

**minutes later**

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

"Yonghwa, wait!"

Yonghwa ran until he got out of the horror house. He leaned his back on the exit while panting so hard that he felt like his heart was left back inside. Seohyun got out after him, laughing and clapping her hands. "That was hilarious!"

"For you, it was." He groaned. "Why did that white lady hug me and smile at me with that weird look on her face? And I thought I would get out with my dignity intact."

"She was just doing her job." Seohyun grinned, secretly taking a picture of him still flustered, using her cellphone. "Come on, I want to try the rides."

And so they rode the Roller Coaster (Yonghwa and Seohyun screamed out loud), Bump Cars (Yonghwa showed off his manliness with his driving skills), Water Slide (they both got a bit wet), and Free Fall (Yonghwa's grip on the handles were tighter compared to Seohyun's). While they were still recovering from the last ride, they bought cotton candies and sat on a bench.

"You know," Seohyun smiled at Yonghwa. "There's only one more ride I want to get on."

"Which one is it?" Yonghwa asked, curious.

"Ferris Wheel."

Oh, I like that. We get to have privacy. Yonghwa grinned at her and nodded. They stood up and lined up for the classic amusement ride until it was their turn to get on. When the ride started, Yonghwa admired the view from below and noticed he finished his cotton candy already. "I really wanted to come here with you, Seohyun. I was glad you suggested to ride this with me, too. You know-"

He stopped talki

Chapter 59: I love how you write this story, authornim. I wasnt here yet on AFF when you finished writing this story the first time. So I was curious on the storyline & everything. I bet you must have put lots of effort in editing this story. I always think "editing" is a hard task because you have to make sure everything is better compared to the first one - so that readers will understand & can feel the story better. So well done to you, authornim. :)

I love this story as a whole. Really. It's cute. I always adore love stories between students. But my most favourite part is - specifically - the time when Yonghwa gave Seohyun the perfume he bought for her. I was all giddy when I read that part. It was so cute when he instantly ran away after he gave the perfume to Seohyun. That part really sticks in my mind until now. :)

Overall, I definitely love reading this story & I am so looking forward to your next Yongseo story. Thank you for this story, authornim. And all the best for the next one. Fighting! :)
