  Tiffany's words echoed on Taeyeon's head as she walk along the hallway without direction.

Taeyeon has made her decision to stay away from her. But after hearing those words from Tiffany last night, she felt somewhat guilty.

 

"It's not like I don't care about her..." she thought.

"Is it too late for me to back out?"

 

Taeyeon wanted to back out from her deal with Siwon, but she can't.

Although Fany had already confessed to her, she has to go away like nothing happened.

She had no choice.

 

"A deal is a deal." she thought, then sighed. "And besides..."

Taeyeon stopped.

 

'Kwon Yuri.'

 

Her name suddenly came into Taeyeon's mind.

"And besides, I already like someone else. So why should I care?" she said to herself, trying to encourage herself.

 

 

 

'What about Tiffany?'

 

 

 

The question popped out into her mind all of a sudden.

Taeng stopped walking and stared at the wall for a while. She came into a deep thought as the memories suddenly flashed back on her head.

". . . And you, Kim Taeyeon, you're moving too . ."

 

 

 "WHAT?!!"

 

 

"Today is Friday the 13th . . . ." 

 

      " . . .Unlucky day . ."

 

"Yuri's room is taken . . . You'll have to move to Tiffany's room . . . . She's the only one left . . ."

 

"Tiffany is pretty . . . . . It's nice to have a beautiful roommate . ."

 

       "Yeah, but I like Yuri more . . . "

 

 

"I'm Kim Taeyeon. Nice to meet you, Tiffany . . ."

 

"There's only one bed here . . "

 

              ". . . I'll just sleep on the couch "

 

 

"What are you waiting for ? ? . . . Let's go to school together . . . . . "

 

 

" . . . You're asking me to pretend as your girlfriend?

                                         . . Are you crazy?  No way ! ! ! "

 

 

             ". . I'll pay you in return . . . Please ?"

 

"Okay, I'll accept it . ."

 

     " . . . I know you will"

 

"I'll accept it because of money . . ."

 

 

 

"Don't fall for me . . "

" . . . It will never happen"

 

 

 

 

"Taeyeon, kiss me . . . "

       

              ". . What?!"

 

 "Just kiss me!!"

 

 

"We saw it all . . . Cheers for Taeyeon and Tiffany! . . "

 

 

" . . Was that your first kiss? . . . That was my first kiss . . . "

 

            "We're not even real . . "

"Listen, Taeyeon . . . . No one should know about this except us . . ."

 

 

" . . Tiffany isn't home yet??!"

             

              " . . Fany's asleep . . . She has fever . . . . "

 

"Pabo. I'm not mad at you . . "

 

 

"A little girl gave this to me when I was young . . .

              After that, I've never seen her again . . . "

 

"It's yours, right?"

 

 

". . Stay away from Tiffany from now on . . .

 

 

      . .If you don't want to humiliate Tiffany and your family, then do this . . ."

 

"I think you still don't get it."

 

 

" . . . If Siwon reveals it, let's just tell them that he is lying~"

 

"We can't pretend forever."

 

"Do you know how I feel everytime you ignore me because of Yuri?"

 

          " . . I don't know if you're blind or what . . . Can't you realize my feelings?"

 

 

 

 

 

 "Taeyeon-ah . . . saranghaeyo . . "

'What about Tiffany??'

 

 

The question repeated on her head again.

 

"I --don't know..."

 

Taeyeon looked down.

Her chest felt heavy while remembering those moments. She suddenly realized what she have done to Tiffany.

 

How she didn't noticed the way Fany treated her...

 

Taeyeon just stood still on her position.

After a few moments, she heard footsteps behind her.

 

 

"Taeyeon!" someone called. "I finally found you."

 

Taeng recognized the voice.

She turned around, and she was right -- it's Tiffany.

 

"Don't you know that I've been looking for you everywhere?" Fany said.

"Tiff---"

"We have to talk. Let's go somewhere else. People might hear us here."

 

 

 

 

[ at the school's rooftop . . . ]

 

 

 

 

As soon as they reached the rooftop upstairs, Tiffany grabbed something out of her pocket.

"You left this again." she handed the necklace to Taeyeon. "Wear it. Quick."

Taeng refused to wear it.

"What are you wating for? Come on, wear it. I already have an idea how to stop him."

"It's over. Let's put an end into this." Taeng said calmly.

"What?" Fany frowed her brows. "We can't just stop--"

"Then when are we going to stop this?"

Tiffany blinked twice, thinking for an answer. "U-Until Choi Siwon graduates."

 

Taeyeon looks down.

 

 

        Silence prevailed . .

 

 

"Sorry, Tiffany."

"Sorry?"

 

Taeng puts the necklace inside her blazer pocket then brings out her handphone and showed it to Tiffany.

 

Fany was startled.

 

"I already made a deal with Siwon.."

Fany hesitated for a second. "What do you mean?"

"He'll keep our secret if we end this acting and...if I stay away from you."

 

 

Tiffany stared at her for a long moment then shook her head.

 

 

"Did he forced you to do this?" she asked.

 

"It was my own decision." Taeng said, then looks away. "This is good for both of us."

 

"You can't do this."

"Why are you so affected? We'll just have to stop this acting that's all." Taeng tries to be cold.

"Why I'm so affected?" Tiffany raised her voice. "You're asking me why??"

Taeyeon knew the answer to her own question but she remained cold and silent.

Tiffany chuckled. "After all of this, you're just going to say that?"

 

They both went quiet.

 

"Didn't I told you not to leave me?" Fany's eyes became watery.

"Listen. We'll be both humiliated in the whole school if---"

"So that's it? What about last night?" Tiffany's voice was trembling.

Taeng looked back at her.

"Don't you really care about me?? I said I like you." Fany insisted.

"Sorry but I don't feel the same way." Taeng gulped.

"That's not true. I heard you..I heard you replied..." Fany tries to hold her tears back.

 

Taeyeon sighed then acts cold.

  "Forget it. I just said that because you're drunk."

 

 

Those words hit Tiffany. She felt like her heart was crushed and sank.

Her lips began to tremble.

 

"I already like someone else. You know that." Taeng said coldly.

 

Fany didn't say any word. She just remained silent, dumbfounded.

"I guess we don't have reason to see each other anymore." Taeyeon gave Tiffany a one last look before looking away.

 

"Thanks for everything, Tiffany." she taps Fany's shoulder then turned her back from her.

Fany just stood there and watched her leave.

 

 

After Taeyeon left, Tiffany fell down on her knees and starts crying.

"It's okay. Just let it out." Jessica taps Tiffany's back.

After crying for a long time in the rooftop, here she goes crying again at her bestfriend's room. Tiffany told everything to Jessica, making her emotional again.

 

"So this is how it feels like to be rejected?" Fany managed to laugh while she's crying.

Jessica can see the pain in her eyes.

 

"Does it hurt that much?" she asked.

 

Fany nodded slightly while sobbing.

"Yes, here. Right here." she pointed at her chest.

 

Worried, Jessica looked at her for a moment.

"I know how you feel." Sica reached over and hugged her, trying to comfort her.

"It's alright, I know the pain will go away as time goes by." she continued.

 

"This is all because of Siwon. It's all his fault." Tiffany said under her breath.

Sica broke the hug and looked back at her.

"You can't blame him." she shook her head. "If Taeyeon really likes you, do you think she will do something like that?"

Tiffany realized what she means.

"Of course she will choose to stay by your side because she loves you." Jessica said. "But it turned out to be the opposite. I don't think she feels the same way as you do."

Tiffany brushed her tears away as she looks at Jessica.

"I think you should give that love to someone who will love you back." Jessica patts Fany's shoulder.

"Choi Siwon?"

"You're the one who said that. Not me." Sica shrugged her shoulders.

Tiffany takes a deep sigh. She gets up from the bed and stood in her full height.

"I think I should go back to my room now and have some rest. Thanks for your time, Jessica."

"I'm always here when you need someone to cry on." Sica smiled.

"Thank you." Fany smiled back.

"I hope you're okay now."

"I'll be okay. Don't worry." Fany waved at her and walked out of the room.

Tiffany went back to her room.

When she got inside, she noticed that Taeyeon's things were gone.

Taeyeon left the dorm and moved.

Only her bed and drawer that belongs to the dormitory were left.

Tiffany moved forward and sat on the bed where Taeng used to sleep.

She sat there for a moment and looked around.

 

The room used to be cheerful and dorklively before. But now, it looked dull and lonely again now that Taeyeon was gone.

Tiffany realized that she already missed her.

She missed her voice . . . her smile . . . her laugh . . . her dorkiness . . . her sleeptalking . . . her snoring . . . and everything.

Tiffany can still remember the memories that Taeyeon left there.

 

 

Tears began to roll down her cheeks again.
