When Tiffany got to their dorm, she saw Yuri outside.

 

"Oh.. Yuri." Fany greeted. "What are you doing here outside? It's cold."

"I'd like to talk to you."

Tiffany nodded. "Let's go inside."

[ . . at Tiffany's room ]

 

 

"You should've waited for me here inside." Tiffany dissolves the instant milk tea powder with hot water. "The December chill will make you sick."

"It's alright. I just got outside when you came."

"Here, drink this." Fany offered her a cup of instant milk tea. "I bought that on my way home."

"Thanks." Yuri takes a sip on her cup.

"Time goes fast." Fany sighed while stirring her tea. "Christmas is coming near~"

 

There was a moment of silence.

 

"I heard you saved Taeyeon from those bully students." Yuri made it sound casual.

Fany kept her eyes on her cup. "Yeah. I did it to stop the issue."

"Umm.. About the issue... Taeyeon and I are just friends."

Tiffany stopped stirring.

Yuri puts down her cup. "I didn't mean to ruin your relationship. Taeyeon really liked you. We we're just close--"

"You're wrong. She likes you."

"Tiffany, if you're mad because of——"

"She really liked you from the start. We we're just pretending."

Yuri went silent.

"We're not real." Fany continued on stirring. "I just did that to avoid Choi Siwon."

"Why are you telling me this?"

Tiffany looked at her in the eye. "Because I know you have feelings for her."

 

Yuri looked down and didn't say anything.

 

"See. I was right." Fany takes a sip on her milk tea.

"Did you ever had feelings for her?"

The question caught Tiffany off guard.

"Please answer my question." Yuri fixed her gaze on her.

Tiffany hesitated for a moment. But the memories are just going back.

 

 

"No."

 

 

Yuri tried to read her eyes. There was no hatred in it.

But it was cold and indifferent.

 

"Tiffany~" Someone suddenly knocked on the door.

It was their landlady's voice.

"You've got a visitor." Shinyoung continued.

"Who is it?"

" Forget everything that had happened to us . . . "

 

Everytime Taeyeon thinks about their memories together, these words kept on replaying in her mind over and over again.

 

"It's not that easy to forget." she thought to herself as she lay down on her bed.

She looked at Suzy on the other bed and saw that she was sound asleep.

"I haven't had a good night sleep for a while." Taeng sighed, envying her roommate. Then she stared back at the ceiling again.

 

The memories and the voices starts to play on her head again. It goes louder and louder as if it was really happening.

She can't stop it. She can't stop thinking about Tiffany.

Taeyeon shook off her thoughts and sat on the edge of her bed.

 

"I think I'm going crazy." she ran her fingers on her forehead.

 

And a few moments later, she was doing it all over again.

 

Taeng sat there, looking into the past again, trying to understand everything.

It all happened so fast.

At first, it was Yuri and then now . . . and now what?

Why can't she feel the same way before?

The same way she felt when she met Kwon Yuri for the first time..?

 

 

 

[[ FLASHBACK ]]

 

 

Taeyeon was a new student at the Kirin University.

She doesn't know anyone but her older brother, Kim Heechul, who also studies there.

He was just an ordinary sophomore student, not until she joined the basketball team. He became very famous around the campus. And the girls really loved him.

 

One time, when Taeng was buying her food on the cafeteria, she saw a tall girl staring at her.

The girl kept on staring at her until she unwraps her hotdog sandwich.

Taeng noticed it so she looked back at her.

 

"Is that a hotdog sandwich?" the tall girl asked.

"Yes it is."

"It's my favorite."

 

Taeyeon looked at her innocently.

She was hesitant if she was going to eat it or not. She knew the girl was hungry.

 

"You can have it if you want." Taeng offers her sandwich.

"Really?" the girl grinned.

"Yea--"

"Thanks!!" the tall girl grabbed the sandwich and took a big bite on it.

Taeng just looked at her awkwardly.

 

After the girl has finished eating, she introduced herself.

 

"By the way, I'm Choi Sooyoung. I'm a freshman here."

"You're a freshman?" Taeng looked at her in disbelief.

"Yes. Why?"

"Your height..."

"Ah, yes. They say I'm tall." Soo said proudly.

"You are tall."

"What's your name?"

"My name is Kim Taeyeon. I'm—"

"Omo. Aren't you the younger sister of Kim Heechul?"

"Yes.." Taeng furrowed her eyebrows. "How did you know?"

"How did I know?" Sooyoung laughed. "Of course, your brother is very popular."

Taeng inclined her head. "I guess he's really famous here."

"I guess you're new here aren't you?"

"Mm." Taeng nodded.

"Let me show you around then." Sooyoung said. "You're a freshman too, right?"

"Yes."

"I'm in section 1-B. I heard you're in 1-A." Sooyoung starts walking. Taeyeon follows behind her.

"That's right."

"You must be smart then."

"Not really. I hate math."

"Me too."

They both laughed.

"By the way, sorry for taking your food. Are you sure you're not hungry?"

"Nope. Don't worry." Taeng assured.

"I haven't ate anything because I lost my money. That's why.."

"I see."

"But don't worry, I will repay you." Sooyoung winked.

"It's alright."

 

They continued on talking as they walk around the campus.

While they were walking along the main hallway, a girl accidentally stumbled onto Taeyeon.

 

"Are you okay?" Taeng asked.

The girl nodded slightly. Her her raven hair was covering her face.

"Let me help you." Taeyeon pulled her up.

When the girl got up, she tucked her hair on her ear and bowed at Taeyeon.

Taeyeon was stunned when she saw her face.

"Sorry for that. I'll be careful next time." the girl said.

"It-It's okay."

The girl smiled at her. "I have to go now."

She bowed again and left.

Taeyeon was left speechless. She just watched her leave.

 

Sooyoung went to Taeng and nudged her.

 

"Hey?" Sooyoung waved her hands infront of Taeyeon.

"Beautiful.." Taeng murmured.

"Me? Really??" Sooyoung giggled. "Thanks~"

"No, not you. Her."

"Her?" Sooyoung raised her left brow. "You mean Yuri?"

Taeng looked at her. "You know her??"

"Hell yeah." Soo said. "She's a rookie in the swimming team and she's very popular. She gained a lot of fans overnight after the exhibition."

"What's her name again?"

"Y-U-R-I. Kwon Yuri."

"Kwon Yuri..." Taeng repeated then smiled.

"I guess you're a fan of her now, too." Sooyoung scratched her head.

"I guess I am."

"She stays at the same dormitory as mine."

"Really?" Taeyeon looked at her, surprised. "What's the name?"

"K.S.Y. Women's Dormitory. The rent is high but it's worth it. It is located near the——"

"I want to move there. Will you help me??"

Taeyeon can still remember the first time she felt it.

Even just a quick glimpse of Yuri made her heart jump.

 

But now it's gone.

  ...What happened?

 

Even now as she think of her, she doesn't feel anything.

But when she thinks about Tiffany Hwang...with Siwon Choi . .

 

 

"What do you think, Taeyeon? . . . Do we look good together?"

   "Did you came here just to ask me that?"

"I'm not trying to make you jealous. But if you are, well, it's your problem . ."

   "Why should I even get jealous on a one sided love? . .GET OUT OF THIS SHOP!"

 

" . . . Neither Siwon nor I did that"

         "And now you're protecting him."

"I'm not trying to back him up . . "

   ". . That's enough!"

 

 

"This—" Taeyeon touched her chest. She felt it go heavy.

And she realized, it's not Yuri anymore.

 

"It can't be.."

 

 

 "Taeyeon-ah...Do you like me?"

 "Why are you asking me that?"

 "Because I like you."

 

 

Taeng sighed and thought. "After all I've done.. Does she still love me?"

"I'll order for us." Siwon smiled.

"Alright." Tiffany put down the menu.

Siwon signaled the waiter and whispered him something.

The waiter just nodded at him.

 

A few minutes later, the food was served.

 

Tiffany sensed that this date was different from before.

They just both ate their dinner quietly.

Usually, Siwon does the talking. But now, he seemed to be quiet.

And it was too awkward for her.

A few moments later, he finally talked.

 

"How's the food?" Siwon asked while chewing his food.

"Good." Tiffany smiled.

"I thought you wouldn't like it."

"Why?"

"Because you didn't choose your own food."

"No, really. It's good."

Siwon nodded then smiled. He took a sip on his orange juice.

"Do you still love Taeyeon?" Siwon asked without looking at her.

Tiffany was stopped.

 

"This is the second time someone is asking me that." she thought annoyingly.

 

"Please. I don't want to talk about it." Fany said.

Siwon was still looking at his plate.

"The answer is yes, right?"

"No. It's just that—"

"Then I'd like to ask you something."

Fany looked up. "What is it?"

Siwon reached over and grabbed her hand.
