Yuan's POV 

its been a week since i started working here. everything is going smoothly, my work is easy. Im also getting along with my co-workers and im enjoying my work. 

Mr. Wang just finished meeting the foreign investors and it was almost lunch time. I was about to grab some lunch when Mr. Wang taps my shoulder. I almost jump at the sudden action. 

"have lunch with me" he plainly said. 

"e-eh? uh.. yes Mr. Wang" i smiled awkwardly. woah, that was sudden.. 

i quickly followed behind him, we were walking in silence. i stared at him as we walk, i know that he is handsome but it feels like i've been seeing his face for a long time now. i quickly shaked away my thoughts when we stopped in front of food stall.

"here, eat it. it's your favorite right?" he handed me some roasted sausages. 

"h-how did you know that it's my favorite?" my eyes are with like a saucer while i asked him. how the heck does he know my favorite food? 

"I.. I just guessed it." sai nervously said, quickly averting his gaze. 

i frowned but nods my head, thanking him for the food.

Jun kai's POV 

"here, eat it. it's your favorite right?" i said to him as i handed him the roasted sausages. his eyes widens as he grab the sausages from me.

"h-how did you know that it's my favorite?" he asked him. 

i was at lost, i mentally slapped myself for saying that. "I..I just guessed" i quickly averted my eyes, i don't want him to find out that im lying to him. 

i saw him frowned but nods his head and thanked me. 

after eating, we went back in the company completely silent. I'm still thinking about our meeting last week. did he really forgot about me? did he forgot about our promise?. 

i saw my reflection on the glass window. "did i change so much for him to completely forgotten about me?" i whispered to myself. I shrug off my thoughts away. i went back to my table to fix my things, its already 8:30. time to go home, i thought. yuan was still doing something when i went out of my office, i saw him eating some snack. 

he still love having snacks, i thought to myself. he turns his head towards me and smile. "are you going home now Mr. Wang?" 

i only nod my head. 

"take care on your way home Mr. Wang" he smiled at be before getting back at what he was doing. 

i was frozen from where i am standing for a moment. i missed that bright smile, i thought to myself as i smile a sad smile. i took a one last look at him before leaving.

Yuan's POV

"aya~ today is so tiring." i lay down on my bed and snuggles my pillow. i shifted my position so i was facing the ceiling, "why does being with Mr. Wang feels so familiar?" i talked to myself. 

i don't know the reason why but i always feel comfortable when im around Mr. Wang. it feels like I've known him for a long time. 

"maybe he is just kind so im feeling really comfortable around him?"

i yawned for the nth time as i hug my pillow, drifting to sleep. 

"wang yuan, stay with me forever okay?" he said to me. i smiled at him as i grabbed his hand, intertwining it with mine. 

"um! i won't never leave you alone, i promise that! no matter what happen"

i abruptly sat up on my bed clutching my head, it is hurting again. i stand up and go to the kitchen to get myself some water. i quickly gulped down the water as i take deep breaths through my nose. 

ive been having dreams like that since after that..

a dream where i was a kid. where ive been talking to someone, we were making promises to each other. the voice of the boy is very familiar but i can't see his face, its blurry. I closed my eyes for a moment before getting back to my room.
