In the following days, So Hee texted me a little bit, she talked to her parents and I was glad for her. Nonetheless, I didn’t want to maintain a close relationship with her all of the sudden. I felt bad, but didn’t want to appear close to So Hee so that Chanyeol notices me. Mina still has pride.

Except this, everybody was busy. On Friday there was going to be the big game. Girls were busy making banners for their favorite ones or practicing their cheerleaders’ role. I tried to stay away from them, I nearly got a punch to my face when I passed by Momo, she was rehearsing the moves everywhere.

Baekhyun was more grumpy than usual. All the boys were working hard, they all wanted to win. I did my role of a good sister, cooked him healthy food and tucked him to bed like a baby. With all the tension around, I didn’t think about my crush or his mysterious lover for a while. On Wednesday however, my hopes grew high once again. Walking in the university hall to a class I had, I saw Chanyeol and Sehun passing by. Should I lift my books a little more so they don’t see me or should I salute them? Being brave, I began walking even more slowly, hoping they won’t see me because of the other students and lifting my books, of course. I can start a fight with a man on the street, but can’t say hi to my crush, good job, Mina.   

Just when I was about to pass by them, I sighed hardly hearing a demon speak.

"Hi, shawty, what are you doing burying your eyes in books?", Sehun asked.

"Oh, hi, boys, Sehun, always a delight to see you", I replied to him. He rolled his eyes.

"You want to wear glasses again? You wore them in your teens, you were quite ugly if I remember correctly", he said with a smirk on his face. My face was getting to get red because of annoyance. Chanyeol standing there and not saying anything wasn’t helping either. I approached Sehun and kicked his feet, erasing that stupid smirk from his face.

"How are you, Chanyeol?", I asked him not paying attention to Sehun who was holding his ankle dramatically. Chanyeol giggled and ruffled my hair. I was in cloud nine, on a small puffy pink cloud, shining sun, singing birds and rainbows. His smile was bright and made me realized how adorable he is.

"I’m fine, take care", he said walking away, dragging Sehun with him.

Hyorin found me watching their backs moving to the end of the hall.

"Earth to Mina", she shouted in my ear poking her fingers.

"Huh?"

"What are you doing?"

"He patted my head, Chanyeol patted my head."

"Goblin style", she asked laughing.

"Stop mocking", I whined and leaned my head on the wall. It helped me cooling off. "I’ll never get over him at this rate, Hyorin, what can I do?"

"Let’s prepare for the game like the fangirls we are. Who are you rooting for?"

"Are you kidding me of course I root for him, but can’t show it. His girlfriend will jump on my head, whoever she is."

'We are still going, you know", she said leaving for her class.

"Of course we are, I’ll still cheer for Baekhyun."

Personally, I couldn’t wait for the game to end, even before it started. Everybody was too stressed. Especially on the day of the game. I cooked a healthy and light lunch for Baekhyun as he was leaving to the stadium earlier.

"Thanks, sister, it was delicious."

"Just so you know, I support you", I said handling him a cupcake. "Eat it, sugar will give you energy."

"Hihi, it’s very good, I’ll make you proud, just wait and see." He kissed my forehead and left the house.

After doing some cleaning and praying Baekhyun will be a good player, at least not scoring at h
