CHAPTER THIRTEEN: MIDNIGHT ADVENTURES
storm sighed as he was sitting next to jineul as he was driving. storm looked back at the others as yuihwi was between squished on the left side of the van as their van had become a little snug with all the new people in the van. "yuihwi, do you want to come sit up here with me?" he asked as she had srunched up her shoulders into her head to keep some getting close to the others. He held his hands out just helping her climb into the passenger seat just placing her in his lap. "so when we get to the lake then everyone just can take the day off. Woojin, you especially. you lost a lot of blood so you need to take it easy." storm said as he looked at him
"i know." woojin said as he on Jisoo's left and chanhyuk was on her other side with gyuri on the other side of chanhyuk.
"has shiki woken up yet, minyoung?" jineul asked
"not yet. I mean you did whack him pretty good. Plus sou is out too. they are the same person, so I am sure he is going to get effects from shiki being out." Minyoung said
"yeah, well that was my only option or you guys would be in hot lava. i said I was sorry about hitting him so hard." Jineul said as he drove just sighing to himself. "jisoo maybe you can find some medicine in that summoning book for them." He said
"I am looking." jisoo replied as she was flipping through the pages of a summoning book.
jineul kept driving and they made it back to the lake just as it was reaching dusk. "Alright everyone who isn't injured can leave the van. Minyoung, you stay with shiki and sou. woojin, you will be fine on your own? your wound isn't bleeding anymore and minyoung can help you if you need it?" jineul looked at him
"I guess so but can't -" woojin started
"no, jisoo can't. she is the best with the summoning book." chanhyuk looked at him as jisoo was already out summoning tents and she was directing the boys that could help to building in certain spots. "you can have gyuri if you want?" Chanhyuk didn't even care that gyuri was still right next to him as he got out.
"No, he can not." gyuri snapped, "why would you even suggest that?"
" 'cause he doesn't want -" hyunwook started as he was hit by storm.
"be quiet before you cause any trouble." storm walked off with yuihwi
"that is a good idea, you stay here help minyoung - princess. you hardly help with chores anyway." jineul told gyuri as he stood next to the van door. he closed the door but left slightly ajar as he walked off.

back in the van, gyuri was sitting in the front seat just watching the other three in the back as woojin was laying across the seat in the middle as Minyoung was sitting between shiki and sou. minyoung felt sou stirr as his eye fluttered open. "oh good you are awake. that should mean shiki should be waking up soon." minyoung siad
"i woke up due to the tension in this car." sou looked at the other two in the car. "Oh this explains it." he answered as he looked at woojin watching chanhyuk carrying this for Jisoo as she bounced like a bunny around him just talking his ear off as gyuri had a that same pissed off look on her face anytime jisoo or chanhyuk were too close together
"yeah, those two haven't spoken since jineul told us to stay in here." minyoung said as she looked at sou. "I am gald you are okay." minyoung said
"thanks, i didn't hurt any of you earlier?" he asked as minyoung shook her head.
"no, you didn't go any major damage. this idiot though had to get knocked out so hard by jineul due to his power." minyoung said as shiki stirred a little and groaned. "hi. do you know who you are?" minyoung asked shiki
"no, . i know who I am. and, you are the dummy who left me in this position. my neck is all cramped." shiki looked at her
"well there isn't much room since miss pissed wouldn't help me lower the seats." minyoung snapped back "and i was only asking because jineul knocked you pretty hard and you hit your head on the floor - so i was just checking to see if you didn't have more brain damage than you already have!" minyoung snapped and flicked his forehead.
"well i am fine." shiki said as he rubbed the side of his head.
"take these, they will help with the pain." minyoung said as she handed him some pills and a bottle of water. "the others want you to stay here until you are totally better so you can leave once the all the tents are fully up and we have decided sleeping arrangements." minyoung added
"Okay." shiki said as he took the medicine and drank some of the water. he sat there as he looked at minyoung. "sorry about me putting you guys to sleep and whatever else could have happened." shiki said as minyoung shook her head.
"it wasn't your fault, you were under a spell." she said as she looked at him "the only ones who weren't was jineul, hyunwook, and woojin." she said as she sat there. "Do you need either of you need anything?" minyoung asked as she looked over to woojin then to shiki.
"some water would be nice and a new shirt too. Jisoo might have healed my wound, but it should be cleaned." woojin looked at minyoung.
"Okay, I'll be right back. gyuri watch them. i'll be right back." minyoung said as she left the van. she came a few minutes later with a shirt and a bucket of water. Minyoung opened the door as hyunwook was pulled gyuri by the hand back to the van. minyoung opened the door of the van.
"she scrarmmed the mommment woojin asked her to help him sit up so he could change and move around a little." sou said as he was helping Woojin up.
"yeah, i know. she pratically ran into me. minyoung asked me to help." hyunwook said as he looked at them. "after we get you cleaned up then I can help walk you to the tents. the others are getting dinner ready." he added
"help hyunwook." Minyoung handed a rag to gyuri as she took shiki's arm. minyoung walked off with shiki as she guided him to a tent as sou followed behidn her. "i am going to go make sure hyunwook hasn't killed gyuri." minyoung said as she walked over to them.

chanhyuk looked at jisoo as they were getting the last tent ready. "i still think that we could have used half the number of these tents and just doubled up. we already know those two over there are going to end up in the same tent." chanhyuk nodded over to storm and yuihwi.
"yeah, most the rest of us aren't like them." jisoo said
"i don't bite nor do I snore." chanhyuk as she looked away from just handing him the next part of the tent. "or would you rather bunk with someone else?" HE mumbled
"what do you even mean by that?" jisoo asked as she looked at him.
"i am just teasing you, jisoo." chanhyuk looked down at her
"sure, you are." jisoo said as she crossed her arms. "and to answer your question - i would choose yuhwi-unnie to bunk with over either of you." jisoo said as yuihwi blinked at them at the sound of her name.
"i mean i wouldn't mind it, but i already told storm that i would be in the tent next to him." yuihwi looked jisoo
"unnie, you are way too honest for your own good." jisoo shook her head. she patted yuihwi's arm as the other girl shrugged.
"the others want food. plus woojin keeps asking for you." storm added as jisoo handed yuihwi the book.
"we still have one more tent to finish then we will be right there." jisoo said as she turned back to Chanhyuk trying to hold up the tent and clip down the holder of the tent.
"okay, i'll summon some food and hide some for you two." yuihwi said as she took teh book. she grabbed's storm's hand just pulling him along. yuihwi walked up to the fire that kel was looking after. yuihwi started to summon dinner just having daehyun and hyunwook pass it out. "here you go you two." yuihwi said as she handed jisoo a plate and then chanhyuk.
"so how many tents were you guys able to set up?" raven asked
"i coud only summon ten so a few of us will have to double up." jisoo said as she looked at yuiwhi. "unnie has already said her and storm could share one." she laughed
"i said next to each other!" yuihwi told them
"well you will be." chanhyuk pointed out
"i meant - uhm, uh,." yuihwi sighed as she covered her face with one hand.
"anyway i don't want to be next to them." jineul blurted as yuihwi punch his arms as his nose started bleeding. "crap, vampire! i was only joking!" jineul glared at her
"i am sorry! sometimes i can't control my powers because of my emotions." yuihwi said "just tilt your head back and it should stop bleeding soon." yuihwi told him
"i'll take a bloody nose next time over you stopping my heart." storm suggested as yuihwi glared at him.
"who wants trades tent buddies!" yuihwi raised up her hand
"owow.'" jineul whined as he was laughing then held his nose. "i think you are stuck with him." he added
"so what are we going to do?" raven asked "I mean tomorrow?" she said
"Just hang out for the rest of the night and tomorrow. we don't have a kingdom to go to. Plus we need to rest and recover from the last grab and spell." storm said as jisoo was passing around the marshmellow bag.
"roasting marshmellows again?" hyunwook asked
"you don't have to eat yours. I'll eat." yuihwi took his marshmellow stick just roasting two at once.
"hey, marshmellow thief - give me that!" hyunwook snatched it back. "I should get two! i had deal with miss priss and mister whiny hiny over there." hyunwook said as he nodded as he was hit in the nose with part of stick as he whinced. "i hope you get fat!" hyunwook rubbed his nose as he glared at gyuri
"that is all you got?" gyuri flicked her finger foreward as yuihwi grabbed the flying bag of marshmellows.
"chilll out before I break your nose." yuiwhi looked at her
"you can't break anyone's nose." storm looked at yuihwi. "i think it is a good time to split up. come on, yui. you said there are some flowers that only open at night, lets go see if we can't find anyway." storm set down their marshmellow sticks.
"i am pretty my nose says she can. you said it would stop!" jineul looked at her
"keep still and if you let me doctor it up then it would." daehyun said as jisoo had got the first aid kit as daehyun was trying to help him.
jisoo shook her head as she turned to chanhyuk who was eatting a double decker smore. "hey you took my grahm crackers and chocolate." jisoo said as chanhyuk winked.
"eat it or loose it." chanhyuk said
jisoo laughed as she grabbed some more just making hers. "woojin or gyuri, do you want some?" she asked
"no thanks." gyuri crossed her arms as she looked at chanhyuk.
"what do have something on my face?" chanhyuk asked
"i am going to bed." gyuri got up and walked off.
chanhyuk sighed as he sat there just tipping jisoo's marshmellow roasting stick out of the fire. "distracted?" he asked as woojin had gotten up and walked with raven and junmyeon.
jisoo shook her head. "no, sorry." she said as she looked at him. "i should probably clean up the marshmellow mess or animals will come and mess with us." she said
"i'll help." chanhyuk said as he stood up and started picking up marshmellow roasting sticks. Chanhyuk watched jisoo picking up the other sides sticks. "hey jisoo. tomorrow do you want to uhm go on a walk with me?" chanhyuk asked
"a walk?" jisoo asked as she turned around and looked at him.
"Yes, a walk. we can talk and um hang out." chanhyuk told her
"okay, yeah. we can ask some of the others to come too." Jisoo nodded
"no, jisoo. just you and me." chanhyuk looked down at her as he walked to stand next to her. "no one else." he added
"oh." jisoo siad as she looked at him. "Okay. i am sure it will be fun." jisoo said as she looked at him. "Maybe we will run into some fun friendly creatures." jisoo said as chanhyuk laughed.
"i hope we do." chanhyuk smiled at her as he set down the marshmellow sticks just bending down and keeping the fire going. chanhyuk looked at the lake as the others were doing tricks with their powers or using them to splash each other with water. "You can go join the others." chanhyuk said as he sat next to the fire.
jisoo sat down next to him as she shook her head. "I am good right here." she said as she looked at him. "so what is with you and gyuri if you don't mind me asking?" jisoo asked
chanhyuk looked at her as he shook his head. "you are quite direct." He said as she nodded
"i know." jisoo siad
"you don't have to worry about her. she is all talk and no bark." chanhyuk said to her. "we dated for sometime, but we always faught. So when I joined the grand order, we broke up with each other." chanhyuk said as he looked at her.
"it looks like she hasn't gotten over it." jisoo said
"i really wish she would. i don't have those feelings for her anymore." chanhyuk poked at the fire. "plus she keeps annoying everyone then i have to keep saying sorry for her." he added
"then just stop. you don't have to keep taking care of her." jisoo said
"i know." chanhuk said
"if she is getting in the way of someone else you care for then just let her dig her own grave. you are wasting your time." jisoo said as she got up. "are you going to think about it or do you want come join the others? jisoo asked
"no, i'll come with you." chanhyuk said as he followed after her.

minyoung dodged a water splash just looking at the that was sent at her as shiki was rubbing his face with his sleeve. "Sorry." she said as he had just walked up. she picked up a skipping rock and held it out to him. "you want to skip rocks?" She asked
"no, you guys are being loud and I am trying to sleep off my headache." shiki said as he sighed.
"what? you don't feel better? you might have a concussion." minyoung said as she dropped the skipping rock.
"what are you worried about me?" shiki asked as he picked the rock that he threw just tossing it over her shoudler and watched it sink into the water.
minyoung laughed as she shook her head. "wow, way to be cool." she said as she looked at him. "but yes, i am. your head still hurts?" minyoung asked as she looked at him.
"just where he hit me. i bet i'll be sore for a couple days. don't worry." shiki said as he looked at her. "So what exactly is going on over here?" he asked
"we are just goofing around. jineul was freezing water thrown up in the air and the others were using them as target pratice." minyoung said as she looked at him.
shiki nodded as he started to walk. "are you coming or you just going to stand there? there might be more skipping rocks. you can show me how." shiki said as minyoung followed after him.
"are you sure? you should go lay down." minyoung said as shiki reached out adn pushed her into the water. "what the hell!? why did you do that?" She asked as he looked at her
"Maybe you can find some skipping rocks and not worry about me anymore." shiki bent down as he looked at her
minyoung raised up her hand from the water and grew the reeds from the back and knocked shiki into the water. "you can find your own skipping rocks." She said as she started out of the lake.
"minyoung, seriously. i was just kidding around." shiki said as he looked at her
minyoung turned around as she was dripping wet. "yeah, well i am not. i am really worried about you! you were out a long time and you out long enough that it had effects on sou. so yea, i was worried. sorry." minyoung said as she sighed as she pulled a couple wet reeds out of her hair.
shiki climbed out of the water just hurrying after minyoung. he grabbed her arma just turning her around. "minyoung, i am sorry. i just don't like being worried all the time. you should know that. i am not very good at this type of stuff." shiki said
"i know that is usually sou's half." minyoung kept walking.
"so you aren't mad anymore?" shiki asked as he tripped over some vines. "okay, i deserved that. i will also take that as a no." shiki got up as he followed her shiki watched her walk off into a tent. he sighed as he found the summoning book and summoned some tea and the materials to make it. he sat around the fire as minyoung came out of the tent that she was sharing with mi. "minyoung, here. i figured that you want something warm to drink." shiki said as he held out the tea cup to her.
"have you not changed yet because you would rather make this for me?" she asked
"well i had to do something to make you not be mad anymore." shiki said as she took the cup.
"thank you, but i would feel much better if you go change so you won't get sick." minyoung said as she looked at him. She watched him walk back to the tent that she was sharing with sou as she sat down on a log just smiling to herself as she sipped on her tea.

"if she is getting in the way of someone else you care for then just let her dig her own grave. you are wasting your time." jisoo said as she got up. "are you going to think about it or do you want come join the others? jisoo asked
"no, i'll come with you." chanhyuk said as he followed after her.

minyoung dodged a water splash just looking at the that was sent at her as shiki was rubbing his face with his sleeve. "Sorry." she said as he had just walked up. she picked up a skipping rock and held it out to him. "you want to skip rocks?" She asked
"no, you guys are being loud and I am trying to sleep off my headache." shiki said as he sighed.
"what? you don't feel better? you might have a concussion." minyoung said as she dropped the skipping rock.
"what are you worried about me?" shiki asked as he picked the rock that he threw just tossing it over her shoudler and watched it sink into the water.
minyoung laughed as she shook her head. "wow, way to be cool." she said as she looked at him. "but yes, i am. your head still hurts?" minyoung asked as she looked at him.
"just where he hit me. i bet i'll be sore for a couple days. don't worry." shiki said as he looked at her. "So what exactly is going on over here?" he asked
"we are just goofing around. jineul was freezing water thrown up in the air and the others were using them as target pratice." minyoung said as she looked at him.
shiki nodded as he started to walk. "are you coming or you just going to stand there? there might be more skipping rocks. you can show me how." shiki said as minyoung followed after him.
"are you sure? you should go lay down." minyoung said as shiki reached out adn pushed her into the water. "what the hell!? why did you do that?" She asked as he looked at her
"Maybe you can find some skipping rocks and not worry about me anymore." shiki bent down as he looked at her
minyoung raised up her hand from the water and grew the reeds from the back and knocked shiki into the water. "you can find your own skipping rocks." She said as she started out of the lake.
"minyoung, seriously. i was just kidding around." shiki said as he looked at her
minyoung turned around as she was dripping wet. "yeah, well i am not. i am really worried about you! you were out a long time and you out long enough that it had effects on sou. so yea, i was worried. sorry." minyoung said as she sighed as she pulled a couple wet reeds out of her hair.
shiki climbed out of the water just hurrying after minyoung. he grabbed her arma just turning her around. "minyoung, i am sorry. i just don't like being worried all the time. you should know that. i am not very good at this type of stuff." shiki said
"i know that is usually sou's half." minyoung kept walking.
"so you aren't mad anymore?" shiki asked as he tripped over some vines. "okay, i deserved that. i will also take that as a no." shiki got up as he followed her shiki watched her walk off into a tent. he sighed as he found the summoning book and summoned some tea and the materials to make it. he sat around the fire as minyoung came out of the tent that she was sharing with mi. "minyoung, here. i figured that you want something warm to drink." shiki said as he held out the tea cup to her.
"have you not changed yet because you would rather make this for me?" she asked
"well i had to do something to make you not be mad anymore." shiki said as she took the cup.
"thank you, but i would feel much better if you go change so you won't get sick." minyoung said as she looked at him. She watched him walk back to the tent that she was sharing with sou as she sat down on a log just smiling to herself as she sipped on her tea.
