Aish, where are they?, Mav thought as her eyes wandered at the restaurant. As soon as she got off the cab, she called SunHo to tell him about the situation. SunHo gave her the assuarnce that he will be arriving in exactly 15 minutes, considering that his home was not far from the restaurant.

As she walked through the place, she saw SungYeol running towards her, his hand holding his mouth.

"Ah, Mav - ssi! Why are you here? You came to drink too, right?", SungYeol asked her, laughing as he blurted out his words.

"SungYeol - ssi, where are the o--", before Mav could finish the sentence, SungYeol puked at her, her shirt and jeans drenched in vomit.

"Oops, my bad", SungYeol apologized before he passed out.

Mav didn't bother to wipe the mess in her clothes. She was stunned after SungYeol fainted. She quickly lifted him up and placed him at an empty chair.

"Just... wait here... don't move", she instructed an unresponsive SungYeol.

She made her way to the members' table and she couldn't help but let out a huge sigh as she saw them; SungGyu was singing while holding a soju bottle as his microphone, DongWoo and HoYa are swaying their head while holding their shotglasses, HoYa was recording a video of SungGyu singing, MyungSoo was laughing hysterically beside WooHyun while WooHyun was copying SungGyu sing, and SungJong was sleeping with his head rested at the wall. Without any rest, she quickly woke up SungJong and called the other members' attention.

"We need to go home", she simply said.

The other members looked at her and shook their heads, then proceeded in doing their own thing... except for SungJong.

"Mav, why are you here? It's getting late", SungJong asked her, slowly getting to his senses.

Mav looked at him, her face forming a blush on her cheeks. He couldn't help but notice that SungJong was really cute at that moment. When she was about to answer, their manager finally arrived.

"Thanks Mav for calling. Tsk tsk, yah! Kids, let's go home", SunHo shouted, causing the members to stop at what their doing and straightened themselves.

"Let's not let JungYeop - sajjangnim know about this. Do you know how much risk you guys put yourselves into?", SunHo reprimanded while the members listened with their heads down. Mav was feeling the tension emanating from the room.

"Anyway, since it's your anniversary, I'll let you off the hook. Let's just go home for today", the manager said as he quickly lifted MyungSoo from the table.

"I'll help", Mav offered, lifting HoYa from the table, earning an appreciative nod from SunHo.

"Thanks, Mav. I'll take care of DongWoo, MyungSoo, WooHyun, and SungGyu. You can help carry SungJong, SungYeol and HoYa", the manager instructed her.

One by one, both of them assisted the members until they are able to get inside the van. When Mav was about to help SungJong, SungJong suddenly hugged her.

"Yah, Lee SungJong - ssi, what are you doing?", Mav tried to pull away SungJong's arms from her waist but the latter tightened the hug.

"Please... just for a while... I'm just testing something", SungJong muttered at her ear, causing Mav to shiver.

"What do you want to test? Let's go home. The others are waiting", Mav insisted, trying to break free from SungJong's arms.

"Please, Mav. I... just... want... to hold you...", SungJong finally sighed in defeat, making Mav stiffen as she blushed at the sudden words.

"SungJong, SungJong, this is becoming weird, please let me go", Mav pleaded but SungJong refused to give in.

"Oppa", she called out, causing SungJong to loosen the hug, helping Mav to break free from him. She quickly placed his arm on her shoulders and helped him make his way inside the van.

The member arrived at the apartment at around 1 in the morning. All of them were tired and drunk, with SungJong being the only one sober. Mav then offered to take care of them and insisted SunHo that she'll take it from there.

"Are you sure? They can be quite... difficult when they're drunk", SunHo asked with concern.

"It's okay. Besides, they'll just sleep through it anyway", Mav assured him with a playful chuckle.

"Alright, if you insist. Just call me when you need anything", SunHo offered, in which Mav nodded in affirmation.

"Got it. Take care, SunHo - ssi", Mav waved back at him, slowly closing the door as his figure disappeared at the hallway.

When she went back inside, she immediately went to the kitchen, grabbed a basin and fille it with lukewarm water. She thought that if anyone of them doesn't feel good, she'll use it for back - up, just in case.

She first went to WooHyun and SungYeol's shared room and fixed their belongings. She quickly went to WooHyun and SungYeol's bedside and removed their shoes and socks, proceeding to ing two buttons of their shirts for them to feel comfrotable. She did the same with HoYa and DongWoo, although she had to lift DongWoo from the couch at the living room. All that was left was SungGyu, SungJong, and L. She was lucky enough to have SungGyu and SungJong already inside their rooms. On the other hand, MyungSoo was still at the couch, murmuring words that Mav couldn't comprehend. As Mav was about lift L, he quickly wrapped his arms around her neck and began talking.

"Why did you do it? You know that we're not supposed to say anything", L muttered loud enough for Mav to become uncomfortable.

"L - ssi, what are you--", Mav wasn't able to finish the sentence when L pinned her down at the couch with him on top of her.

"I loved you. I loved you, you know that. Am I not enough to keep you happy? Are you that desperate to become famous?", L asked her, tears falling from his eyes.

"L - ssi, you're drunk. We're not supposed to--", Mav said when L cut her off again.

"DoYeon - noona, I love you", L suddenly blurted out, causing Mav to be surprised.

"L - ssi, I'm not h--", Mav was about to defend herself when L suddenly leaned in, their faces too close to each other. Before L could kiss her, Mav pushed him with all her might, causing him to fall at the floor. The impact didn't bother L as he continued crying.

"I fought for you. You thought I stayed silent but no... Why did you look for someone else, right away?", L said between sobs. Mav couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor guy. She could feel her tears at her cheeks, her heart becoming heavy. Although L may seem cold and rude, he's also sensitive and vulnerable. Not knowing what to do, Mav could only offer him an empathic hug and quickly guided him at the couch. Soon, L passed out from crying, his head resting at Mav's lap. Mav carefully stood up and placed his head at the headboard and went inside her room. Little did she know that someone has witnessed L's crying jag... and their almost - kiss.

Mav couldn't sleep after what had happened. It took her an hour to catch her drowsiness, considering that she still had school at 9. She woke up with dark circles around her eyes and a sluggish body that's difficult to carry. Still diligent about her morning routine, she prepared breakfast for herself and the members. As she made her way to the kitchen, she noticed that the couch at the living room was empty.

Maybe he went back to his room, she thought, slowly slicing the apples she took from the refrigerator.

Despite her body following her usual routine, her mind wandered at the incident last night. She still couldn't believe that L tried to kiss her, and above anything else, she was feeling sorry for him because of the heartbreak he experienced. It surprised her that he could be vulnerable at times; the way he cried last night. While she opened the refrigerator to get some kimchi, she sensed a figure standing behind her.

"Move", the voice commanded. Mav simply complied but when she turned to look at the figure, her body stiffened.

"I said move. I need to drink water", L said again, causing Mav to return to her senses.

After what happened that night, she didn't have the courage to face L, even talk to him or look at him. She was too embarrassed though she is sure that L couldn't remember what happened between them.

"Sorry", she muttered and made her way to her room to prepare for school. L just looked at her and went to his room, suffering from a splitting headache.

"Kids, we don't have any schedules for today. Practice is postponed on Wednesday. Hyung called a day off", SungGyu informed as the members gathered at the dining area for a late breakfast.

"That's a relief", WooHyun remarked, resting his head on the table.

"But we only have a few weeks before our comeback, and the concert is on August. Maybe we can pra--", Hoya suggested when suddenly, DongWoo interrupted him.

"Howon - ie, we can't practice at this state. We just recovered from a hangover... or maybe not yet", DongWoo commented, looking at SungYeol who was dazed at his seat.

"SungJong - ah, are you feeling better? I bet you're the only one who was sober last night", SungGyu asked the younger, ruffiling his hair as he took another bite of the hang - over soup Mav prepared for them.

"Ahh, yes, hyung", SungJong briefly answered, taking a bite of the sliced apples from the plate.

"Do you know how we got here?", SungGyu asked again, which made SungJong annoyed.

"I'll just tell you later, hyung. I need to rest again", SungJong answered as he left the table and made his way to their shared room, leaving SungGyu confused.

"What's with him?", SungGyu asked the others, only to receive an "I don't know" look from them.

"Maybe he was the one who carried us back. Just let him rest", HoYa answered him, finishing the remaining contents of his bowl.

Oppa, I'll be home by 11. We'll be having a meeting for our research. Sorry if I can't prepapre dinner for tonight. SungGyu read the text message he got from Mav.

Don't worry. We can manage. We'll leave a portion for you. Take care. SungGyu texted back.

The members were watching a movie in the living room. Despite the horrific genre of the film, all the members except for SungJong managed to fall asleep.

Very timely, SungJong thought as he spaced out, recalling the events of last night.

Mav arrived at around 10:30 in the evening. The apartment was already dark and Mav could only assume that the members were already sleeping. She checked HoYa and DongWoo's room, only to find it empty. Curious about their whereabouts, she also checked the other members' room to see if they are gone too, finding it empty.

Maybe they just went out, she thought as she made her way to the kitchen.

She found a kimbap roll at the dining table and some juice. She recalled that SungGyu will be leaving a portion of their dinner for her. She quickly sat on the dining table and grabbed the plate containing the kimbab, ravaging every piece of it. She didn't realize that she was that hungry when she ate her first piece. It only took her 5 minutes to finish the whole meal. She swiftly grabbed her plate and glass and washed it at the sink. When she was putting the plates inside the dish container, she heard a muffle cry coming from the balcony of the apartment. She was too scared to find out what it is but brave enough to check its source. She slowly tiptoed her way to the balony, only to find a crying WooHyun on the chair.

Why is he crying?, she thought. She was about to take a step back when her foot bumped into the drawer near the balcony. WooHyun turned around to see who it was.

"Who's there?", he asked with a cracked voice.

"It's just me", Mav bravely stepped forward.

"Look, it's okay. I don't mean to disturb you. If you want I ca--", Mav wasn't able to finish her sentence because of the tight hug she had received from WooHyun. She was startled by the sudden move but eventually, she gave in, hugging the elder in return.

"I can't take it anymore. It hurts so much", WooHyun told her in between sobs.

Mav guided WooHyun back at the balcony and sat down with him.

"Do you mind telling me what's wrong?", she asked, hoping to get a meaningful response.

WooHyun stared at her for a few seconds, hesitating to tell her about what happened to him. He didn't have a choice, though. It was her or another week of unbearable suffering.

"I... I...", WooHyun stuttered.

"It's okay. Take your time", Mav comforted him.

WooHyun took a deep breath before telling her what happened.

"I feel like I'm a burden to the members. They expect too much from me but I end up disappointing them... all because of this stupid shoulder", he began to tell her.

"Why? What's wrong with your shoulder?", Mav asked him with concern shown in her eyes.

"It's been hurting for a while now. I was doing a scene of the drama and I accidentally fell from a monkey bar. It really hurts. Now with another comeback and the concert, I don't think I'll be able to handle it. The doctor said it'll heal in two months but it's already affecting me... the members... everything", WooHyun told her and started crying again.

Mav just nodded her head. She didn't really know the exact words to say to him at the moment. All that she can offer is a comforting hug, in which WooHyun didn't mind.

"I can't exactly give you an advice right now but if you need anything... I'll be here for you. I know we've only known each other for a few days but you can call me anytime. I'll be happy to lend you a hand", Mav assured him. Suddenly, WooHyun broke free from the hug.

"...and I'm sorry if I was ever mean to you. I just... felt uncomfortable having a girl around. I don't know how to react... I'm really sorry, Mav", WooHyun sincerely apologized.

"'Tis okay. I understand. If I were in your shoes, I would also feel that way", Mav replied with a smile.

WooHyun's sadness really hit Mav as she realized that warm tears were coming from her eyes.

"Yah, why are you crying too?" WooHyun asked her, chuckling at the sight of Mav crying.

"I don't know. Maybe I just got carried away. This is all your fault", she retorted, giving WooHyun a weak punch on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Mav... for listening. I really mean it. I couldn't tell this to SungGyu hyung or the others because they're also anxious and stressed from our schedule. I don't want to be an additional problem to their worries", WooHyun told her.

"You're always welcome. Now stop crying", Mav requested as she wiped the tears from his cheek.

"Do you... want to stay here for a while?", WooHyun asked her.

"Actually, I was planning to start on our paper... but if you need some company...", Mav replied only to be interrupted by the elder.

"No, it's okay. I'll walk you to your room", WooHyun offered, standing up and brushing his pants as he made his way to the balcony door.

"No really, it's okay", Mav insisted, grabbing WooHyun by his arm.

"Oh. Uh, okay. I'll see you tomorrow. Good Night, Mav... and thank you", WooHyun said as he patted Mav's head, causing Mav to be astonished.

Okay, what happened?, Mav thought as she walked slowly in the living room. She was drowned in her trail of thought when suddenly, she saw SungYeol quickly coming out from his room.

"Oh, I thought you weren't here", she said to him, leaving SungYeol startled.

"You scared me!", he remarked.

"I'm sorry, but where are you going?", she asked him.

"Just... somewhere... actually at the company building... I left my... wallet in the practice room", SungYeol explained. However, Mav was a little suspicious.

"Isn't it a little too late for you to go out? You can pick it up tomorrow anyway", Mav remarked.

"Well, you'll never know... thieves might break in... I have some important stuff in it besides money", he replied.

"Take care, then", was all Mav could say.

SungYeol put on his shoes and made his way outside. Mav started to wonder why she didn't notice SungYeol a while ago, considering that she checked their room only to find it empty at that time.

The others should be here by now, though, she thought.

She went inside her room and decided to text SungGyu to find out about where they were. She grabbed her phone and typed a message for SungGyu.

Maybe they just went somewhere, she thought but the idea still bothered her. She wasn't used to it. She was relieved that WooHyun was also with her in the apartment.

I'm just overthinking. They'll be fine, she finally gave in and started to switch on her laptop.
