"You- you what?!" I stared at Taehyung who was still acting a bit nervous. 

"I- I shouldn't have confessed to you like that right?" He asked me, looking away.

"No- no... Taehyung," I started, calming down. "I didn't mean it like that." I reached over and touched his arm gently. "I love you as a friend but I'm not the right person for you to be with," I suddenly remembered about Ara and her crush. 

"Wh-what do you mean by that?" He asked again,slowly.

"It means that I'm not rejecting you. You can date me but this would cause a lot of people to be hurt and because they might be hurt, we might face conflicts among the two of us and we would fight and break up in the end... and we can never be friends anymore..." I explained slowly. "Don't you know that there's this someone who had been in love with you for this entire time and yet, you're just trying to make love up instead of creating them with someone special..." 

He did not say anything but continued to bit his lower lips, trying to think. His face darkned out of a sudden for a few moments before he looked back up at me with a smile on his face. 

 "Th... thank you, Mi Young," he whispered. "I am still hurt at your rejection but what you said really had a lot of effects on me. It somehow made me feel a bit more mature now, after whatever you had said," he concluded, before standing up. "Now, since we had finished eating, why not I fetch you back home now?"
