*Ring*

Ryeowook looked at the time on his ringing alarm clock and see that it is time to go to school. He opened his eyes lazily but to his horror, the sun is up.

“What? Why is the sun up? It's supposed to be dawn.” Ryeowook scrambled down his bed to rush to the window to see the clock on the church opposite his room. It's 8am!

Ryeowook quickly grabbed his uniform hung on his wardrobe and his bag. He ran out of his room with his uniform pants already worn and a bread in his mouth. Along the way, he wore his thick glasses and changed into his uniform top. He reached the lobby of the school and happen to see the one he's been trying to avoid there as well.

Kyuhyun stepped out of his car at the lobby front porch and saw Ryeowook running into the school. The latter paused and bowed to his Jjang before continue rushing to the elevator.

In front of the elevator, Ryeowook waited nervously as he watched the elevator come down to the lobby level. Kyuhyun joined him behind without a hint of worry of being late for school. Despite knowing that the school's most feared man is behind him, Ryeowook is still stomping his feet anxiously waiting for the elevator.

*Ding

Finally the elevator arrived and they both entered together. There was an awkward silence throughout and Ryeowook couldn't help but feel uncomfortable with Kyuhyun staring at his chest. He tried to tilt his body away from his sight but Kyuhyun was still staring.

'Is he a ert.' Ryeowook thought to himself.

“Your buttons are wrong.” Kyuhyun said and left the elevator the moment it opened.

Before Ryeowook could react, the elevator alomost closed again which he then used his feet to block the door from closing. The nerdy boy looked down to find his uniform all wrongly buttoned. Ryeowook blushed and quickly turned to the corner of the corridor to rebutton his shirt.

“I'm so late.” Ryeowook muttered to himself as he ran to the classroom. To his surprise, Kyuhyun was still outside the classroom talking on the phone. Thinking that lady luck is on his side, Ryeowook rushed in to the classroom.

“Kim Ryeowook! You are late!” Mr Park shouted.

“I am so sorry.”

“Do you know how late it is? As a responsible student, it is your duty to....” Before Mr Park could finish his sentence, Kyuhyun entered the classroom and walked straight to his seat at the back. He waved to his 3 best friends and then sat down, folding his arms and looking at Mr Park.

Mr Park swallowed and simply said to Ryeowook “Don't be late again. Get to your seat.”

Ryeowook couldn't believe how lucky he is and quickly sat beside his new classmate, Sungmin. If it weren't for Kyuhyun, Mr Park would not have stopped his sermons. The owner of the school is even later than Ryeowook. What more could Mr Park say?

Ryeowook is used to being treated as transparent in school but with his new classmate, he finally have someone to talk to. Sungmin is friendly and would not look down on commoners like him.

“So you say that you entered this school by scholarship?” Sungmin asked Ryeowook during lunch.

“Yup, I have good results in elementary school so I was offered a scholarship.”

“Your scholarship don't include meals? Why do you bring lunch everyday?” Sungmin pointed at Ryeowook's traditional bento box.

The petite boy smiled and said “Elites hate it when commoners share food with them. In the beginning, I ate the same food as you guys do but they called me a beggar and threw away my food. That Cho Kyuhyun tripped me and stepped on my food. You have no idea how much I went through to finally get some peace like now.”

“They bullied you!” Sungmin said angrily.
