It's been a week since the phantom thief is finally caught but he has not talked since then. Sungmin thought that he would be happy at his success for catching the phantom thief, but he was wrong. He realised that the latter was more than a criminal to him, he was a dongsaeng. Ryeowook lost all willpower to escape from his crimes after his father died and Sungmin is worried about him.

“Ryeowook ah, eat up. You have not been eating.”

“Sungmin ah, i mean, detective nim, I want to see my father.” Ryeowook said with a tear rolling down his cheek.

“I'm sorry but you can't. But don't worry, I will take care of things and your family.”

Ryeowook remained silent, deep in thoughts.

Sungmin couldn't help but feel hurt for the petite criminal. He lost his father and his lover is not visiting him and he is going to jail. He knows that Ryeowook is still the sweet nerd he knew and secretly hate himself for catching him.

The detective left the cell and intended to look for Kyuhyun in hopes of having him visit Ryeowook to at least, make him eat a little. When he left the office, he saw Yesung standing outside in the cold.

“Yesung ah”

Yesung caught eyes with Sungmin and immediately ran to him and crashed his lips on him. Sungmin was surprised at first but later adjusted to his lips and responded to his kisses.

They wrapped their arms around each other's waists tightly. Their kiss lasted a long while until Yesung finally separated from the blushing Sungmin.

“So this is the reason you have been rejecting me? Because you are an undercover police?” Yesung asked.

Sungmin nodded awkwardly, “Not totally for that, or rather... because I am 3 years older than you.”

Yesung laughed hard. For the first time, Sungmin saw Yesung laugh so hard.

“Silly you.” Yesung hugged Sungmin in his arms again to reaffirm their love.

Kyuhyun peeked through the curtains of his window to make sure that it is the change shift period of his mansion's security guards. He was in denial about Ryeowook being the phantom thief, it was hard for him to accept that the cute and weak boyfriend of his was the infamous criminal. He wanted to hate that boy very much for making use of him, he wonders if he has ever loved him.

But then again, his heart is working by its own. His heart knows that what they have been through was genuine and those heartbeat they felt for each other was real. He opened the window and threw a makeshift rope made from his clothes tied end in end. He climbed down to the ground level and hid behind the bushes.

He crawled along the garden to the dog burrow at the corner of his house and crawled out of it.

“Ryeowook, I am coming...Wait for me....”

Meanwhile in the detention cell, Donghae visited Ryeowook. “Are you okay? Your omma is very worried about you.”

“I am fine. Is everything okay out there?”

“Yeah. Your appa has been buried and we are investigating his death. It seems that he was shot at the heart by an assassin.”

Ryeowook started to cry.

“It's my fault, if it wasn't for me, Appa wouldn't have came to save me.”

“He is your father, he would do it willingly. It isn't your fault.” Donghae consoled, “And Ryeowook ah, listen, we discover that the dead killer was linked to Kyuhyun's company, he is most likely working for the Cho Group.”

Ryeowook's heart dropped. He has been thinking that the killers were summoned by his clan elders but little did he expect it to be from Kyuhyun's father.

“Ch...Cho group?” He asked.

“Yes... And the security cameras were all erased that night. There was no proof that you did not murder the man. It seems like it was all a trap. But of course, there will be no proof that you indeed killed the man.” Donghae said.

“Trap? Kyuhyun wouldn't set me up.” Ryeowook insisted.

“I hope not too but isn't it too coincidental?” Donghae rationalised.

Ryeowook couldn't help but recall that Kyuhyun dragged him out for no reason that day and it was him who walked him home using that route.

“Impossible...” The broken boy muttered.

“Ryeowook ah, whatever it is, we will save you out. Wait for me.” Donghae smiled before being chased out of the detention cell.

Ryeowook knows that his trust for Kyuhyun has wavered a little after what Donghae said but force himself to continue believing in his lover.

Kyuhyun finally reached the entrance of the police station when he received a call from his father.

“What do you want?” Kyuhyun asked impatiently.

“I just want you to know that I can kill your Ryeowook with a single phonecall. You should know that I can easily get someone kill your Ryeowook in his sleep, even if he is the phantom thief.” Mr Cho said to his son.
