Seohyun kept her gaze to the window, watching the houses and trees passed by around them. Luhan just focused himself on driving, stealing glances at the girl behind him on the rearview mirror from time to time. She suddenly sighed contently, for the first time in forever she felt empty inside. No stupid tingles on her chest, no emotions around her to bother her train of thoughts. She felt nice inside of this car. Luhan sighed too of relief that she was taking the situation very well. 

Seohyun shifted a little in her seat and look at Luhan's backview in front of her, he knew that she was watching so he didn't bother to look at her in the rearview mirror again. "No emotions that are bothering me at all." She said to herself in her mind. She wanted to ask him why she couldn't feel anything from him but she knew better. If she didn't want to be locked up in a mental asylum, she better kept shut so she just focused her attention back outside again. Luhan thanked the heavens that she didn't ask about it, he knew what she was thinking even though he couldn't read minds. How weird must have been for her to suddenly find someone she couldn't feel anything from when she almost lost herself feeling every emotions from everyone around her.

Luhan frowned, he also knew that she had been thinking that she was all alone in this, a freak  in this world of normals. How would she react if she knew that there were others like her? He trusted Madam Sy to explain all of this to her as gently as possible. This secret could break every part of her life that she knew now. Just like it did to Luhan's life before, and he didn't want to go in that direction.

10:30, they were almost at the top of the hills where the Academy was located at. Seohyun could already saw glimpses of the school from her right side. They just needed to cross a bridge, and drove upwards to the top. When they were nearing the bridge, Luhan was on high alert - he kept looking back and forth to his sides that Seohyun noticed that something was wrong. "Luhan?" She called him that startled the latter who was still searching the perimeter. He was using his keen sense of hearing and smell to found out if anyone was waiting for them at the bridge before they crossed it. Attacks from the other supernaturals that was against the Academy commonly happened at the bridge. Usually he didn't have problems with that because he could take them on but now that he was with Seohyun he was not so sure about himself anymore.
