OST 14

With someone daringly barged in through the door startled her, Soojung looked up and found the intruder of her office. Younger Sujeong showed up with newspaper in hand and a hint of anger shown on her face.

"What is this bull?" The younger inquired, a little too harsh it sounded than she intended.

The chief scanned the newspaper's headline then found Howon and Myungeun's relationship article. Soojung wasn't surprised the young song producer was fuming from this article but she had to maintain professionalism. "Watch your language!"

Sujeong inhaled a long breath and took some moment to be calmer. "Then explain why is this spreading out? You know it's not true!"

Instead of playing along with Sujeong's angry state, older Soojung seated in her chair, folding her arms and crossing her legs. "You need to calm down!"

"Well I am calm now! Mind to explain why this lie is out and going around like this?" Sujeong actually found it hard to be as collected as the chief executive, but she was still calm like she stated.

"This is just a media play. It's Howon's idea so it can get in Go Jaehyuk's nerve and stop bothering him!"

"And you think this is the best idea in the world to save this ty problem among you directors?"

It's a lie to say Soojung wasn't shaking with how furious Sujeong was at the moment although she's in the higher position.

"Do you guys not think of Yein? How about Myungeun's image? You know how our contries often attacked female artists more than male artists, don't you? Do you think with this lie spreading out, it'll be an easy path for Jiyeon after this? It doesn't make sense Soojung unnie!"

The CEO rubbed her palms against the skin of her face before facing Sujeong with a sigh. "I know these all are just cheap media plays but I know how to handle this, okay? Howon and Myungeun know what they're doing and I trust them!"

Younger Sujeong scoffed unbelievably. "I don't know if you're just too naive or what but if this is all you can do as the head director of this company, then keep it!"

She walked out in a huff after her last sentence, and surely both parties were suffering from the harsh words. Sujeong never intended to hurt older Soojung's pride as the CEO and had never dared to question the latter's capabilities to handle business problems in her hands. Yein felt betrayed when that morning she awoke from her sleep just to read online about her girlfriend in a relationship with the respected senior artist in the same agency.

"You're unbelievable," she remarked, obviously upset with how her face expression turned really dark and tears were pooling in her eyes. Myungeun instantly felt regretable and wondering if her decision was the right thing to make in the first place.

"Yein-ah," she called her dear girlfriend's name softly, turning more emotional than she should be. Seeing Yein in this vulnerable state made Myungeun felt fragile as well. "I don't mean to hurt you."

Her heart stung so bad. Had it been this tough to persuade Yein this was all just a media play from the first place and she should not worry about anything would be much easier. But things had been done and damaged.
