At 11 years old, Minjoo was separated from her sister, Hyewon as the older girl moved out with their father (well, Hyewon’s father) while it was decided that Minjoo would stay with their mother. Hyewon lived in different town and it made it hard for the sisters to see each other often. Nonetheless, it didn’t stop the younger to reach out and keep in touch with the older sister that she adored so much.

At the age of 17, Minjoo came to Hyewon’s new house to celebrate Christmas and new year together because her mother and her new husband were away for their “honeymoon” trip. Minjoo became nervous because she knew Hyewon’s father also had remarried within the same year and it meant that she’d meet Hyewon’s new family too. And that’s how she also first met Hyewon’s step-sister, Chaewon.
