Both Dara and Chaerin made their way back inside. Hand in hand. On Chaerin’s side, her friends were happy. But on Dara’s side, Jiyong felt odd about it. He knew about Chaerin’s uality and he supported her, because that is what friends do, but something about her holding Dara’s hand made him feel alarmed.

Am I missing something? He thought.

He tried thinking back to memories to help his head out. He thought of the times he caught Chaerin staring at Dara with something in her eyes. Jiyong tried hard to remember what he saw in his blonde friend’s eyes. Love? Friendship? Nothing? What was it?

He shook away the thoughts. There is no way Chaerin would do that to Dara. He knew Dara was straight and he knew that Chaerin wasn’t the type to do so. Jiyong made it clear to Chaerin on how much he liked Dara. She wouldn’t betray him like that, would she?

What if the feeling is mutual Jiyong? His inner voice asked him. No way.

Jiyong stood up and walked towards the duo and grabbed Dara’s hand.

“Nice to see you here Miss Baddest Female.” He said in a teasing manner.

“Glad you finally admit to the name, GD.” Both of them were having a staring contest. It made Dara feel so uncomfortable but she couldn’t admit to the fact that she kind of liked it. It felt like the two were fighting over her. Oh god, what are you thinking Dara?

“Come on Dara we have our project to finish.” He pulled on her left hand, not realizing that her right hand was in Chaerin’s hand. And the blonde wasn’t planning on letting go either. Her grip hardened on the petite woman’s hand.

“Chae, I do have to go work on our project.” Dara softly whispered into Chaerin’s ear. Chaerin couldn’t help but scoff and smirk at what Dara just said.

“Chae I have to work on our project.” Chaerin mimicked. She harshly pushed away Dara’s hand, “Go.”

Even though Dara knew she hurt Chae’s feelings, she couldn’t help but feel so disrespected. It was okay to be upset but it was childish to keep acting up on it.

Bom saw the whole scene from the table, so she decided to do something. She walked towards Chaerin and grabbed her hand. Chaerin looked up at her with a questioning look.

“My hands grew cold, Pretty Blonde.” Her eyes curved in crescents. Chaerin knew what her friend was doing and nothing made her happier. She let out a laugh when she looked over the redhead’s shoulder and saw Pony doing silly faces. The blonde brought up Bom’s hand and kissed the back of her hand.

“I love you… guys.” She whispered the last part so Dara wouldn’t hear. Jiyong pulled Dara away from the scene. He saw her eyes getting watery and he began to question once more. They sat down at their table, where Dara was lost in her thoughts. What actually is their relation? She said she loved me.

“Are you okay Dara-ah?” He held her hands and she saw the amount of care he had in his eyes. She felt so wrong to do this to him and Chae. She loved them both and she didn’t want to make a decision that could end something so beautiful. Chaerin or Jiyong? She looked at Jiyong then turned her head to look at Chaerin. The blonde was staring at her, with so much love. Chaerin gave her a small smile.

“Y-yeah. Let’s just hurry and finish what we can for today.” She saw Chaerin walk out the café, it made her upset but happy because Chae left alone.

“I’m going out to calm down, Bom. Tell Pony we can work extra tomorrow.” Chaerin grabbed her belongings and walked out the café.

She got inside her car and made her way to her second home. Her heart was pounding hard. She kept comparing the hand situation to real life. What if it was a sign that Dara wanted Jiyong more? Or how easily he could control her.

“Am I really that bad to love?” She asked out loud as she entered her apartment.

“No, I love you unnie.” The second voice startled her. Her hand made its way to her chest. She rubbed the spot.

“Seriously how did you get in here again, Harin-ah?” She knew their last meeting wasn’t too well but Chaerin was too exhausted to act up.

“Your little sister has her ways.” Harin grinned proudly.

“Little sister?” Chaerin coldly spat. Harin would’ve been hurt from her words but she saw her sisters eyes. They weren’t Chaerin’s eyes. She knew better than to easily give in.

Harin went over to her sister and pulled her onto the couch, letting the older one to fall into her arms. Chaerin missed this warmth, the one full of family love. She tried getting away from her sister but she couldn’t.

“Stay unnie. I know you need it.” The soothing voice, coming her sister, made Chaerin break down all her walls. Her eyes began to pour and her cries got louder. Harin combed her sister’s hair and whispered caring words into her ear.

“I’m sorry Harin-ah.” Harin sat quiet.

“I didn’t mean to hurt anyone or you. I’m sorry, Harin. I could’ve been a better sister. Mianhae.” Chaerin looked up into Harin’s eyes and saw tears. It’s been so long since she looked into her sister’s eyes. She’s grown up to be such a strong and beautiful woman. And she wasn’t there for any of it.

“I know unnie. I know the truth.” After so many years of her sister being missing, Harin decided to do some spying to know what happened. She over heard conversations from her parents and even her mother helped her out. She met some friends at her school that helped her out with finding out her sister’s location. She only had one mission in mind, to get her sister back.

SURPRISE ON THE EARLY UPDATE! Yeah there was lack of Chaera moments, but this was more of a chapter for Chaerin and her sister/family. Besides of having problems with Dara, she also has to deal with her past. See you guys in the next update~~ (Maybe soon? ;) ) Also Merry Christmas to you guys!
