The three boys sat in the cafe chattering happily away forgetting all about their worries and laughing away enjoying the time spent with each other.

"When was the last time the three of us hanged out like this?"Baekhyun asked and Luhan rolled his eyes

"Like a week ago"Yixing snorted and Luhan laughed

"You make it seem like we don't hang out at all"Luhan playfully scolded Baekhyun on his choice of words

"We don't! Where was I when all these hanging out business was going on?"Baekhyun fake whined

"Probably drooling over Taekwoon"Yixing snickered and Luhan burst out laughing

"I do not drool over him!"Baekhyun said with a huff and the brothers laughed at him

"Glad you guys are enjoying yourself"a familiar voice said and all three boys looked up

"Hey Kyungsoo"Luhan greeted

"What you got there?"Yixing asked and Baekhyun motioned towards the well decorated cake in Kyungsoo's hand dramatically

"Its a cake"he said towards Yixing and the latter ignored him

"A little bird told me that today was your birthday"Kyungsoo said to Luhan and the other stared wide eyed at him

"Uh..yeah it is"he smiled looking at the cake

"Its yours,I hope you enjoy it and its on the house"Kyungsoo said making Baekhyun mumble something along the lines of 'it better be' under his breath

"Wait stay here and enjoy with us please"Luhan pleaded and Kyungsoo was hesitant but he accepted and sat down with them

The cake was half done by the time they were full,happy and satisfied with themselves not to mention that it was already late in the evening.

They got ready to leave after Kyungsoo wrapped the rest of the cake for Luhan and Baekhyun paid,they bid everyone goodbye and left.

"I can't believe its already this late"Yixing muttered

"We got carried away because we were having too much fun"Luhan said afterwards when they were getting in the car

"I just want to go home and sleep the rest of the day"Baekhyun whined

"Okay then. So how are you enjoying your birthday so far birthday boy?"Yixing asked and Luhan shrugged making the latter narrow his eyes

"I love it"he laughed looking at his little brother

"Little Luhan is an adult now"Baekhyun sighed driving off like a mad man

A squeak could be heard followed by

"I'm not little!" Which was followed by loud laughter in the car.

It didn't take them long to reach home from the cafe,both brothers got out of the car and bid Baekhyun goodbye before going up to the door and opening it.

"That was fun"Yixing said as they got inside

"It was,I'm kind if glad it was just us you know"he said closing the door behind them before turning to his brother only to be met with their parents as well

"Did you have a nice time?"Qiang asked directing the question to both of them

Luhan nodded and Yixing remained quiet.

"Luhan,your mother has something to give you. It will just take a while,Yixing let's have a talk okay?"Khan spoke up before he started to lead Yixing up the stairs,the latter glanced back at Luhan and his brother gave him a small smile.

"Let's sit down"Qiang said walking into the living room and Luhan followed her sitting down across from her

She pulled out a box and held it in her hands like it was the most delicate theming ever.

"This belonged to your mother...your real mother"she softly before handing it over to him "she wanted you to have it when the time came and now is that time..."

"What is it?"he asked staring at the box

"Open it and fins out"she smiled

And he did,he opened it. He couldn't take his eyes of the most beautiful pendant he has ever seen.

"She would give anything to see you right now"Khan said walking into the room and Luhan looked up closing the box

"Oh my baby"Qiang said coming to sit next to him wiping the tears he didn't know he was shedding away

"Thank you guys so much"he said pulling away and wiping his eyes looking down at the box "I will treasure it"he smiled hugging the box to his chest

"We know you w..-"Qiang was cut off by Yixing loud screaming

"MOM!! DAD!! LUHAN!!"the latter screamed and then there was a loud clatter 

"Yixing!!"Khan yelled going up the stairs hastily to get to his son

Luhan and Qiang soon followed up the stairs.

The sight Luhan was met with made him pale

"W..what?"he stammered staring at the see through figure hovering in his brothers room cornering him.

Suddenly a bolt of lighting was shot into the figure and it shattered to dust. Luhan thought it was dead but boy was he wrong the 'thing' reincarnated into two this time

"Yixing go to you your brother"Khan said gently holding his hands out

The latter didnt waste anytime and rushes over to his brother side sobbing.

"Qiang get them out of here"Khan told her and she hurriedly ushered them back down the stairs.

As they reached the bottom of the stairs they were met with more shadows and Yixing held onto Luhan looking frightened.

"Mom..."Luhan started while backing away from their advancing figures

"In the living room"she told them but before they could even take a step they were each blasted in separate direction

Luhan groaned from his spot on the floor next to the fire place,his head pounded and he could taste blood in his mouth. He opened his eyes blinking away his blurry vision before trying to get up and failing,he could hear fighting around him but his main goal was to find his brother.

"Yixing!"he choked out crawling on the floor still working up the strength to get up

"Come on"an unfamiliar voice said helping him up and Luhan wheezed struggling to stay up

"I'm okay,just find my brother"he wheezed out

"Your brother is okay"the person said and Luhan shook his head

"Where is he?"he asked focusing so gaze to look around the room

"He's with my friend,I'll take you to them"the person said and Luhan nodded.

The stranger took him over to where another figure was standing with an unconscious Yixing in his hand.

"What's wrong with him?"Luhan asked pulling out of the strangers arms and going over to gather his brother in his arms

"He's just unconscious he'll be fine"the second stranger said and Luhan ignored him cradling his brother 

"Where's my parents?"he asked looking up at both figures covered in black

"Keeping you from getting hurt"stranger 1 said and Luhan stared at him 

"Qiang!"Khan yelled and Luhan's head snapped towards the stairs,he quickly gave Yixing back to stranger 2 before getting up and sprinting up the stairs

"Go after him Sehun!"stranger 2 yelled and stranger 1 named Sehun followed after Luhan who went up the stairs without thinking

He was not prepared for what he saw.

"MOM! DAD!"he yelled holding onto the wall to keep himself from getting blown away with the strong wind coming out of what looked like a wormhole

"JUST GO WE'LL BE OKAY!!"they yelled back holding onto each other

"NO! I'M NOT LEAVING!!"he yelled back trying to reach out for them nearly falling until a pair of arms wrapped around him

"TAKE HIM AND GO!!"they yelled at the person holding onto him

"WE HAVE TO GO!!"the stranger yelled at him and Luhan shook his head

"NO!!"he yelled struggling in the strangers hold to get to them

Sehun however held Luhan firmly against his chest so the other wouldn't see what was happening behind him

"REMEMBER WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!"they both yelled as they faded into the wormhole

And Luhan was left sobbing into Sehun's shirt as he tries to comfort him by parting his back gently

"I'm sorry..."he said and Luhan cried harder which left the latter with no other options but to hug him for a little.
