Chapter 9
Sassy Go GoHa Joon was a wreck. After two hours of running through the city, the four of them had yet to find out where Soojin was hiding. They checked her favorite stores, parks and even the darkest alleys but had no luck, it was as if Soojin had vanished into thin air. Ha Joon could feel his heart sinking with each minute that passed.
The four of them huddled in a small cafe as they gazed forlonly out the window. Pounding rain could be heard from above. Pulling out his phone, Ha Joon glanced at the few texts he sent Soojin earlier.
To: Soojin
Where are you?
To Soojin
Soojin
To Soojin
Soojin yah....
To: Soojin
Can you at least let me know that you're safe?
"What do we do?" Yeon Doo whimpered as she held onto her hot drink tighter. She felt helpess. She should have seen the signs that Soojin was exhibiting. After all, she was her best friend and she failed.
"Hey." Yeol placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "It's not your fault okay? If it's anyone's fault, it's Soo Ah's."
Ha Joon couldn't help but feel his eyes blaze in anger at the mere comment of that girl's name. He wanted to strangle her. None of this would have happened if Soo Ah had just kept to her own business.

Soojin gazed up into the dark sky as she continued to get pelted by the rain droplets. Her shoes were soaked, so were her shorts and hoodie. Taking out her arm, she pressed aganist the once white and dry bandage and made a face at it sunk into her skin. She dug her hand back into her pocket before pulling out a cigarette and ligh
