Wendy wasn’t good at interacting with people.
She wasn’t shy or an introvert.
She just happened to be very anxious that she might say something wrong, and embarrass herself.
So whenever her parents invite their friends, neighbors or anyone, she would either lurk in their library, reading half of the books or sleep until the guests were gone.
Although it annoys her mother that she never comes downstairs to at least greet the guests, Nymphadora never forced her daughter to come out from her room.
Well, until this day.
“Wendy Andromeda Hope Lupin! Come down this instant.”
Hearing her full name, the eleven year old girl opened her bedroom door, but didn’t come out.
“But mommy, I already told you that I don’t wanna talk to strangers.”
“Silly girl, these people aren’t strangers. They’re my old friends, and one of them is your friend.” It was her father who spoke this time.
Wendy couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows in confusion.
Before entering Hogwarts, she never had a friend because they found out that she was a witch.
During her stay in Hogwarts, she didn’t have any companions at all because she was a total outcast.
And speaking of Irene and Seulgi, she couldn’t call them her friends because she only talked to them a few times.

Heaving out a short breath, Wendy smoothed her pastel blue skirt, and descended the stairs to the dining room where her family, and the guests were seated.
“You finally graced us with your presence.” Remus said with a smile.
“Good eveni—” Wendy couldn’t continue her greeting when her gaze landed on a very familiar figure who was none other than Irene Potter.
“IRENE?” she gasped. “I don’t mean to be rude, but what are you doing here? Scratch that, how do you know my house?”
“Because your parents, and our parents are best friends since forever.”
It wasn’t the Gryffindor girl who answered. It was a good looking, young man sitting next to Irene, and Wendy couldn’t help but gasp again when she looked at him.
