You're BeautifulIn my hazy dream,
You were shining, dazzling
I followed Oh Sehun as he walked around the streets of Seoul. I didn't know where he was heading but I kept following him anyway, and I was relieved when he finally stopped in front of a really old house.
The paint on the walls were tarnished and there was a hole on the roof that was seemingly covered with duct tape. It looked so worn out and damaged. I wonder why no one bothered to think of renovation.
The door opened and a woman in her mid-fifties came out. She smiled when she saw Sehun.
"Sehun-ah," The ahjumma smiled. "You're home early."
"Hello, Eomma," Sehun greeted.
"Your brothers and sisters are already back from school," She said. "They're all waiting for you. They keep talking about what they did in school today."
Sehun smiled, a rare sight to see, and followed the ahjumma as they went inside the old house. I suddenly remembered the smile and realized how he looked so much better if he smiled more. He didn't look like much of a bad boy.
I walked towards the house and was about to ring the doorbell when I saw the sign on the door.
Happy Hearts Orphanage.
I was surprised. It was something I didn't expect, and I was certain that no one in school knew that Oh Sehun was an orphan.
I felt my heart ache at the thought of a child growing up without parents, even if that child happened to have a bad boy image in front of the student body.
Without thinking, I finally rang the doorbell twice and I could hear footsteps from the other side. I was nervous on how Sehun would react if he found out I was here, and that I followed him from school.
The door opened and, instead of a tall, dark-haired, pale-skinned boy, I was met by a little girl with her hair in pigtails and big eyes staring right at me. She had an elementary school uniform on, so she must be around 7 or 8 years old.
"Anyeong," I knelt down so I could be in height level with her. "My name is Miju, a schoolmate of Sehun's. Is he here?"
The little girl didn't answer. She just stared at me with her big, innocent eyes that was screaming out cuteness. I just smiled at her, waiting for her to answer my question.
"Yeri," I heard Sehun call out from the inside. "Who's at the door? Why did you open it? You're not supposed to talk to stra---"
Sehun froze when he saw me kneeling down in front of the little girl named Yeri. I smiled slightly at Sehun before standing up and looking at him.
"Do you have a minute?" I asked him.
Sehun was still shocked, but slowly he nodded. "P-Please," He said. "Come in."
* * * * * * *
It was silent as I sat down in their living room. Sehun sat across from me, and I was just staring at my shoes awkwardly. There were lots of kids too, and they were staring at me and Sehun.
"Hyung," A little boy finally broke the silence. "Who is she?"
Sehun smiled at the little boy. "That's Miju noona, Junhong," He told the little boy named Junhong. "She's my..."
