Tensed, heavy breathing, yes.

Trembling fingers, yes.

Pale face, yes.

Mouth wide open in shock, yes.

Moon Ah Reum finally lost control. For the umpteenth time, she breathed a heavy breath, with the hopes of the universe swallowing her alive.

It took her three whole, unbridled hours and two glasses of red wine to muster the courage to confess to Im Ji Hoon in that darned phone call only to find out that some bastard dared to mix up the names on her once organized contact list.

And that bastard changed his contact name to "Boss."

She should have believed her mind when she noticed that the number stored under "Boss" seemed different. 

"Reality, Ah Reum. Calm down. The phone call is ongoing." She told herself.

Oh and Ah Reum perfectly knew that rugged and rough voice that just uttered words she did not expect. "Hello, Ah Reum. You got the wrong number. Guess who."

Ah Reum mentally face palmed and pressed her nose bridge. Must gain control, Ah Reum. Woman up.  

"Park. Chanyeol." She said, feigning stress with a composed voice.

And oh my goodness, she did not enjoy Chanyeol's attractive chuckle in the receiver. Moon Ah Reum literally felt Chanyeol's naughty smile through the other line.

This was the most embarassing phone call ever! In the situation were two control freaks trying to out-control each other, and the man was obviously winning.

"That's right. This is Mister Park Chanyeol. Don't worry, my lady, it'll be our little secret." Chanyeol said, but it was so bloody obvious that he was being sarcastic.

Ah Reum did not like losing control, and certainly, she did not like losing control of that Park Chanyeol. The nerve of him!

"Whatever floats your boat." Ah Reum calmly replied. Hah! If Chanyeol thought that Ah Reum would act hysterical and panicky, then he's mistaken. Ah Reum was her own brand of smart, too. 

Although calm and collected, Ah Reum simply wanted to throw all the objects inside her visually appealing apartment. She was so sure that Chanyeol would soon crack her secret, and it will be real bad. Real bad.

Oh. That secret of hers. That emotional craving to be touched by someone who truly cared for her. That philosopical need to have company, whether there was romance or just good ol friendship.. Oh dear.

She debated whether she should a, politely hang up the phone, b, scream at Chanyeol for messing with her picture-perfect plans, or c, continue the agonizing phone call.

Whatever dwindling dwarf possessed her, she chose C. Ah Reum leaned on her white couch that Sunday night, held her phone close to her ears, and closed her eyes and let her thoughts swim.

But what she did not see coming was the image of Park Chanyeol half-, pinning her against the wall. And his arms were all over her, aching for her.

Whoa. That was one hell of an imagination! A very random imagination too! Why would she suddenly think of Chanyeol? And of all thoughts, why a scandalous one?

"Must be the wine." Ah Reum mumbled. 

"Oh. So you've been drinking, Ah Reum..." Chanyeol spoke again through the other line. Holy balls. Ah Reum realized that she had been thinking aloud.

Before things got out of hand, the graceful Ah Reum took control. "Goodnight, Chanyeol."

And then hung up.

"Enough, Ah Reum. Enough wine for tonight. Work tomorrow. Yes, work. Work. Focus." She said aloud, between long breaths.

To say that Chanyeol was surprised by Ah Reum's composure during the phone call would be understatement. 

Definitely an understatement, because early Monday morning, he was still in awe at Ah Reum's ability to keep her poised attitude during that historical phone call.

You read that right. He was still thinking how in the world did Ah Reum remain untroubled when clearly, the whole overhearing the confession thing was grounds for embarassment.

And Ah Reum's smooth, velvety "Goodnight, Chanyeol" kept replaying in his head that Monday morning.

"Aish!" He grunted in frustration, because Ah Reum was such an intricate puzzle. Chanyeol banged his headphones in the recording room and resorted to Instagram to find some relief.

"What are you so stressed about? I
