AND A SURPRISE VIDEO
Ah Reum has made her decision.
She was going to confess to Im Ji Hoon.
Well, no. Not exactly confess. Ah Reum thought it would be tactless to suddenly confess to her boss. Like, who in the right mind would actually do that?
Poised and calm publicists like her do not intertwine personal matters with business affairs, but just for her sanity, Ah Reum decided that it was best to be closer to her flawless Ji Hoon, and hopefully, he would get the hint.
"May the odds be in my favor. " Ah Reum thought to herself, two weeks after contemplating whether she'll drop hints to Ji Hoon.
Oh, and it did not help that her carnal desires were overwhelmingly high ever since she met Baekhyun's girlfriend at the bar. Kim Seul Min grew fond of giving free coffee to Moon Ah Reum, and every single time they would see each other, Seul Min's mouth would say nothing but,
"Enjoy your coffee." , "Baekhyun helped me brew that, *wink*, *wink*"
Yup. Seul Min and Baekhyun were pretty much human lovebirds who did nothing but make Ah Reum wonder when she'll have the chance to hold and be held.
The ever technical and rational Ah Reum developed a certain liking for reading dating manuals which she religiously read during her lunch breaks in the office.
But of course, she needed to keep that businesswoman aura of hers, so the brilliant Moon Ah Reum meticulously wrapped her precious dating books in thick and clean white wrapper. How sneaky of her.
The book's first rule: Be bold.
And how was she supposed to be bold??
"Be bold. Be bold? Be bold!" Ah Reum whispered to herself as she sat gracefully in one corner of The Coffee Club.
The aroma of coffee under her nose relaxed her shoulders that Saturday morning, but underneath the wooden table of the coffee shop were her hands fidgeting with each other.
Nerves. She had purposely invited Im Ji Hoon for coffee under the pretext of "business meeting." Ah Reum loathed the feeling of tension and apprehensions and butterflies in her stomach. She also hated clutching her modest business suit when under pressure.
"Business meeting my ." Ah Reum sighed to herself and took a brief swig of the Americano she ordered minutes ago.
Their "business meeting" was not supposed to commence until ten in the morning, but the early bird in her thought that it wouldn't hurt to be an hour earlier.
And there she was, breathing in and out, heavy, and shallow, attempting to ease her darn nerves. Simultaneously, her brilliant brain was trying to recite the prepared speech and flirting tips she had learned from the heaven-sent dating manual of hers.
Rule number 2: Body language. Cross your legs and lurch your chest towards your man.
She gasped in disbelief when she first read Rule no. 2. Ah Reum did not have a flirtatious bone in her body, and while the idea of lunging her chest towards Im Ji Hoon seemed pathetic, Ah Reum decided to give it a try. Yes. In the coffee shop.
Clearing and checking if nobody was looking at her, Ah Reum placed her left leg over her right and nervously squeezed her thighs together.
Just when she was about to proceed to the chest lurching technique, voila, a gorgeous, almost-sunkissed man entered The Coffee Club.
It was Park Chanyeol. Behind him was Jongdae, and Chanyeol caught Ah Reum doing the techniques. Bad move. Bad move.
Jongdae waved a friendly wave at her and proceeded to the counter, whereas his tall companion opted to approach the dumstruck Ah Reum.
Taking note of her image, Ah Reum immediately shifted on her seat and repossessed her unperturbed and relaxed aura, but apparently, she cannot fool Chanyeol.
He gave her an evil smirk. "What was that?" He asked, standing in front of her. Ah Reum raised a brow at him, but she noticed Chanyeol'
