I really want to apologize for the long wait, but here it is :D  I have to admit though, the inspiration to write hasn't really struck me these days. :( The chapter begins with Ah Reum and Chanyeol sitting at Chanyeol's living room. Ah Reum realizes that she has fallen for Chanyeol.

Falling for Park Chanyeol?

Having romantic feelings involved was totally uncalled for. Falling in love with Chanyeol was the letter "b" in Einstein's "e equals mc squared;" it was not part of the equation.

Falling in love with her bed friend was not supposed to happen. It was not part of the contract nor her life goals. Heck, she had no clue how she ended up having feelings for the very untouchable Chanyeol.

Honestly speaking though, It was Chanyeol's honesty and masculinity that got her. She had never met a man so manly, so in charge and authentic. 

Ah Reum shifted in her seat as she felt Chanyeol's leather couch slowly becoming warm. She should probably leave Chanyeol's apartment. After all, Chanyeol was obviously exhausted from Dream Concert. 

Yet that felt like a cowardly thing to do.

Fighters like Ah Reum do not escape from reality. They face it, head on.

"You okay? Just now, you seemed to enter a daze or some sort." Chanyeol asked, genuine concern evident.

Ah Reum slowly returned Chanyeol's gaze and congratulated herself for not melting at the sight of his sharp stare. "I apologize. Perhaps we should commence tonight's activities."

Ah Reum reached for Chanyeol's buttons, but the man was stronger than her. He hauled her into his arms and kept her jailed against his hard chest.

"I've said it once. I haven't said it enough, so I'll say it again, Miss Publicist. We're not having until you open up to me. Look, we've been together for two and a half months now, and the only thing I know about you is that you like your coffee black." 

She fidgeted around his hold, but fat chance, Chanyeol only tightened his grip on her. "And I also know that you're fond of animals. But that's it." 

So he remembered that one time she told him about her love for pets. How can she not fall?

"What is the point of knowing things about me?" Ah Reum frankly asked. She too was puzzled as to why quick, fast, and convenient Chanyeol wanted to know more about her boring life.

Chanyeol smirked. "Let's just say that out of all the bed friends I had, you're the most detached one. You don't have feelings for me, so you're not clingy. And that, I appreciate very much. That makes you interesting to talk to."

Ah Reum momentarily gasped for her life. If that was the case then, it was best not to act like a deranged lover for Chanyeol. One clingy move by her, and that was the end of her happy bed friend setup with Chanyeol.

"There is really nothing much about me. I am what I am. What you see is what you get, Chanyeol. I love my work. That is all you have to know."

And I love you as well, Chanyeol. If only she could say that.

Just then, she felt Chanyeol lift her chin with a sure, steady hand. "What a shame. Whatever floats your boat, babe. Any interests? Hobbies? Oh I know! Let's talk about your love interest- Ji Hoon." 

Aish. Im Ji Hoon. Her dream guy. Ji Hoon was still her dream guy, and the girly, feminine side of her still longed to be Ji Hoon's wife, but there was also Chanyeol who was more off-limits than Mr. Dream Guy.

So it really was possible to have feelings for two people at the same time.

No, no. That was impossible. Im Ji Hoon was the only guy for her. Chanyeol was off the market. An idol cannot possibly date a monotonous publicist. Moreover, it was more dangerous to develop feelings for Chanyeol. 

He would dispose of her in a blink of an eye and witness how fast he could replace her. That was the difficult side of Chanyeol. Compassion was unwelcomed in his life while Ah Reum, for the twenty five years she had been living, breathed on compassion for others.

See? Chanyeol and Ah Reum can never be. Whereas, with Ji Hoon, they were like two peas in a pod. She should be glad that Ji Hoon had been flirty with her lately. Any person with normal eyesight could see that Ji Hoon would often touch her fingers, the small of her back, or whatever modest part of her.
