There comes a point in your existence where you question your choices in life. You may have been weirded out after having your hair dyed an ugly shade of red when all you really wanted was a sophisticated ash blonde. You may have questioned your decision-making skills after consuming three huge cookies when you should have been on a strict diet. You sometimes laughed at your foolish decisions, like that one time when you chose to keep liking the person you can't have. And then when your heart got broken, you ended up laughing too. Not at your decision. But yourself.
You were feeling like a joke.
Don't worry though. Nine out of ten people in the world experienced being a joke. Successful, popular and attractive people feel it too. Case in point, Park Chanyeol, Thursday night.
He was a friggin joke for inviting Ah Reum to his place tonight and getting rejected. He was a friggin joke for leaving Baekhyun's birthday early. He was a friggin joke for bothering to drive through the violent rains. He was a friggin joke for expecting to see Ah Reum at the bus stop when he did not even tell her he was coming to get her.
Chanyeol had a legitimate reason though. Ah Reum was sick, and if bed friend was sick, there'd be no "bonding time." That was a logical thought! And that was the main purpose of fetching her.
Of course not. He was not the type to lie to himself. Chanyeol knew why he was standing in the cold as he texted Ah Reum to turn around and look for him. Chanyeol knew why he was holding an umbrella. Chanyeol knew why he waited despite the bitterly cold weather.
He knew he needed to be a friend, to show her that ing his hips was not the only thing he was capable of. She had no car that night, and he had one. She was sick, and he was not.
Chanyeol would have done the same thing to Baekhyun or Sehun or Jong In. He hated being sick with no one beside him. Certainly, Ah Reum hated it too.
So it was time to rescue her.
Ah Reum's eyes were not deceiving her. She walked up to him while mainting proper composure, although her body was going to pull its last string of energy shortly.
"Get in the car quickly." Chanyeol said and pulled her close, so the umbrella could shield them.
There was no time for questions. Fans might be lurking around, so swiftly, they rode the car together. Whew. Thank the rainy heavens there were no photographers.
She initially thought of asking Chanyeol the usual "What are you doing here?" , but she already knew the answer. Chanyeol wanted some flesh, and rains would not stop him from getting what he needed for the night.
Ah Reum sighed. Her condition at this point could not endure Chanyeol's vigorous insertions. She silently hoped for a milder session with no spanking and crazy positions. She could tell him that she had a flu, but that was not going to happen. She did not wish for Chanyeol's effort to fetch her to be wasted. That would be a major burden, so yes she had decided to tolerate Chanyeol tonight.
Chanyeol was driving at an urgent speed; she felt like a patient in an emergency van. Ah Reum could not help but laugh. Maybe Chanyeol's need was that much of a pressing problem. Hahahaha.
"Your place tonight, okay?" Chanyeol uttered and shot her a quick look before focusing on the road.
The nod she gave him was saying yes to exhaustion. The thought of Chanyeol pulling her hair while zealously ramming in and out of her was tiresome in itself. If she had not been sick, the anticipation would certainly be there.
But the flu was making it hard for her. Ah Reum could not even think straight with her cough and colds worsening.
Conveniently, Chanyeol was a fast driver. They were back at her apartment within twenty. The usual was done. Lights , Chanyeol's shoes removed, peppermint tea was poured on a lowball glass. Ah Reum, realizing that Chanyeol was not going to drink the tea, drank it herself.
The setup was slowly becoming lonesome for Ah Reum. Chanyeol stood like a statue without saying anything, and he had this irritated look on his face. It was probably due to the delay of action. Ah Reum was purposely postponing any contact because, who in the right mind would want to engage in while nursing a fever?
Maybe she should be honest. Or maybe she should stop being a burden to Chanyeol's time and just get it over with?
In one swift step, Ah Reum unbuckled Chanyeol's leather belt. Shocked, he pushed her arms away carefully. Frail and feeble Ah Reum almost fell from the light push, but he caught her waist with enveloping arms.
"Look at the time. It's (cough) late. We should (cough) start." Ah Reum said and continued coughing. She witnessed how Chanyeol's eyes switched from irritation to vexation. Whoa, why was he angered? Now she felt cheap for initiating. Never again.
"Do you seriously
