Story 23 || Beautiful

Jungkook thought Jimin was sleeping until he felt the elder grab his hand, holding it so that his palm was facing up. Jungkook lay in the bed silently, not moving. His palm tickled as Jimin drew on it with the tip of his finger. It took Jungkook a moment to realize that it wasn't drawing, but writing that Jimin was doing. He was writing sweet phrases on the palm of Jungkook's hand. Y-o-u-a-r-e-s-o-b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. "You are so beautiful." Jungkook thought, a small smile quirking up on Jungkook's face. Jungkook often wondered if Jimin was beautiful. He never had the chance to see Jimin's face, or anyone's face for that matter. He often wondered if Jimin's face was as beautiful as his heart was. B-e-c-a-u-s-e-o-f-y-o-u-I-c-a-n-b-e-h-a-p-p-y. It took Jungkook a moment to get that one. "Because of you, I can be happy." Yes. That must be it. Jungkook could feel his cheeks heating up ever so slightly as Jimin continued tracing letters into his palm. Y-o-u-a-r-e-m-y-f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e-t-h-i-n-g-t-h-a-t-h-a-s-e-v-e-r-h-a-p-p-e-n-e-d-t-o-m-e. It was long, and Jungkook couldn't put the pieces together to figure out the whole phrase, but he's sure the word favorite was in there somewhere. Jimin continued. T-h-a-n-k-y-o-u-f-o-r-b-e-i-n-g-i-n-m-y-l-i-f-e. That one, Jungkook undestood. "Thank you for being in my life." 

Jimin stopped touching his hand, and Jungkook could feel him moving the hair out of Jungkook's face before placing a soft kiss on his forehead. He loved the feeling of Jimin's lips. "Jungkook, are you awake?" Jimin whispered. Jungkook didn't respond, pretending to be asleep. He assumed that the room was probably too dark for Jimin to be able to see.

Jimin grabbed his hand as he continued. J-e-o-n-J-u-n-g-k-o-o-k. That was his name, Jungkook was certain. I-l-o-v-e-y-o-u. Jungkook felt a shy smile grow on his face. "Say it." Jungkook spoke to let Jimin know he wasn't asleep.

"What?" He could tell by the sound of his voice that Jimin was a little surprised and slightly embarrassed that he had been caught.

"I want to hear you say it." Jungkook spoke again, taking his hand from Jimin's as he found his waist and snuggled closer. How he would love to hear those threes words come from Jimin's mouth, spoken at him. Jungkook wasn't about to say it first, so he needed to hear it from Jimin. "Hyung, please. Tell me."

He could hear Jimin take in a deep breath and hold it for a few seconds before letting it out. He felt Jimin scoot even close to him. "Jeon Jungkook." Jimin was so close that Jungkook could feel his breath of his face as he spoke. "I love you." He whispered, placing a kiss on Jungkook's lips.

It was definitely better hearing it out loud. "Hyung," Jungkook whispered against Jimin's lips. "I love you too."

Author's Note || Hello guys! I hope you like this one after the angst chapter that I wrote. Um. I'll do requests, but I'm going to go ahead and say that I'm not taking any angst requests for now...or (possibly) forever again. I might do a few heartfelt things, but nothing that involves suicide, accidents, serious injuries, or cancer/other illnesses. I think there are many writers that do those kinds of things. If you want to see angst, read their drabbles/stories. I won't be writing it on here anymore...I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I just don't like writing it. I tried, in my last chapter, for those who requested it, but that's all I can do.

I hope that you liked this one. In case you didn't get the jist of it, Jungkook is blind in this story, so he can't see. That's why he said that whole thing about Jimin...yeah. It's probably obvious, but I always feel the need to explain myself because I know there's always going to be that one person who will ask. xD
