Story 16 | I Love You

JungKook found himself waking up in the middle of the night, snuggled into JiMin's chest. He tried to go back to sleep, but nothing was working. Not even the peaceful sound of JiMin's breathing was enough to lull him back to dreamland. There was something on his mind...and he felt he wasn't going to be able to sleep until he said it. "JiMin hyung." He whispered and shook the elder. JiMin didn't budge. "Hyung, wake up." JungKook spoke a little louder, shaking JiMin harder.

JiMin slowly opened his eyes. "Hey, what's up?" JiMin asked, looking up at JungKook.

JungKook froze for a moment, looking down at JiMin's sleepy face. "What is it?" JiMin asked again.

"I love you." JungKook said before turning away from JiMin and lying back down as he felt his heart speed up. He relaxed some when JiMin wrapped an arm around him, nuzzling his face between JungKook's shoulder blades.

"I know." JiMin mumbled, and JungKook pouted. He had hoped that the elder would have said it back to him.

Author's Note: Here is this one! Um...in case it's not clear, because I didn't directly state it in the drabble, this is JungKook's first time telling JiMin that he loves him a while after they start dating...and he's the first one to say it...should there be a part 2? Where JiMin returns it? I'll let you guys decide.

(This also may or may not be used in a full JiKook oneshot or chaptered fic that I'm working on...)
