LET GO!
Tutoring A Freaking Smart Guy
Saturday came and you were feeling a lot better than yesterday. You can now walk and move but the pain winces from time to time and the bruises are still clearly seen on your body. Since you can’t afford to miss your work again, you showered and wore pants and a jacket over your shirt to be sure that no one can see it.
You went out of the house early to be sure you’ll make it on time as you estimated you’ll be walking slower today because of your injuries.
You walk through the intersection, and as always, it was full of people. You tried avoiding body contact but it’s inevitable, they kept bumping to you. You tried hard not to cry in pain as they literally bump on to your fragile body.
Nearing the place, you felt weaker than before but it didn’t stop you to keep going.
Arriving at the place, you checked at your watch and you were just on time. “Annyeonghaseyo!” You tried to keep a smile so they wouldn’t notice. You then went to the back side of the restaurant as the delivery of the other ingredients is scheduled today.
“When the truck arrives, put all the boxes inside the storage room, got it?” “Ne!” “Okay, good. I have to get going since many customers started to crowd inside.” “Ne!!”
After a few minutes, the truck arrives and parks it in front of you. You tried stretching for a bit hoping it would help you. As you open the truck door, your eyes then popped out. *I..i..it’s so many…..I have to carry all this?!* You close your eyes and controlled your breath. *Breathe in, breathe out. Relax….you can do this. HWAITING!*
You pick one box on your arms and………………..it’s just painful. You put it back immediately and inhaled a deep air then exhaled. *Just don’t think about the pain Miyeon, YOU CAN DO THIS!* Without hesitating again, you picked it up, ignored the pain and did your fastest to put it on the cart and as the cart became full, you’ll push it inside the storage room and organize it there then back to step 1.
