A Little Backstory
Truly ValuableTo fully build a good business relationship between the Lee Company and the Kim Company, Lee Yura and Kim Taewoo married. During this engagement, Taewoo was with another woman, named Ryu Sujung, and he strongly went against the marriage. Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim knew about his affair and threatened him to break it off or he will not receive any inheritance. Taewoo was a greedy man. So Taewoo split with Sujung, married Yura, and inherited part of their business company.
Because Yura was such a nice and loving lady, Mr. and Mrs. Kim were very satisfied and were expecting grandchildren, or at least a grandchild. Though Kim Taewoo never liked his wife, they had a child, and thus a girl name Kim Min Young was born. While Yura always treated her family very well, Taewoo never showed any love and care towards his wife or daughter. He wouldn’t even let Min call him “dad” or “ appa”, for heaven’s sake! He’d always ignore them and would never be home. Unlike Taewoo, his parents treated Yura and Min as family, with care and love.
On the other side, Taewoo treated his other family very well. He would shower his lover and daughter everyday with jewelry and clothes. He would pick his daughter up from school and go eat lunch with his lady, almost daily. Stay and spend most of the times at their house.
Wait… what?
Okay, so, remember when Taewoo broke it off with Sujung? Yeah well, he didn’t. He faked it. While Taewoo and Yura had Min, he and Sujung had a daughter as well. Their daughter, named Eunji, was born on the same year, just a couple of months older than Min.
Sujung wasn’t officially his wife because they hadn’t married yet. That wasn’t going to happen anytime soon because Mr. and Mrs. Kim will definitely forbid that.
So basically Taewoo, Min’s father, is a two timing father who has one wife, one lover, and two daughters. This jerk.
Author's Note: There are going to be a lot of OC's to fill in the extra characters. BTW, I know Min's name is Lee Min Young... ;)
