Dara was fidgeting on her queen sized bed. She was trying to get a good night sleep, but she couldn't. Her web drama would finally be airing for the world to see. It has been awhile since her last actual drama stint. She finally sat up due to frustration.

“It's going to be fine, Dara. You did your best,” she was giving herself a prep talk.

She took a deep breath and scrunched her nose before lying back down.

“Everything is going to be fine.”

Her bedroom door slowly opened that moment. She too, was slowly moving. She was trying to get to the far side end of the bed from the door. She was ready to somehow hide underneath her bed when the person entered the room. Dara failed to silently slip out of bed and fell instead.

“Dara, what are you doing?”

The lights .

Dara quickly sat up and grinned at the person.

“Jaejoong!” she enthusiastically said

“Are you alright?” he walked over to her.

She continued to smile and nodded her head as an answer.

“Why'd you fall? How did you fall?” asked Jaejoong as he squatted down

“I thought it was somebody else or a ghost, monster, I don't know. I was getting ready to hide,” she answered honestly.

Jaejoong looked straight into her eyes, tried to repress his laughter but failed. The room that was filled with worries was now filled with laughter.

“Hey, it isn't funny,” Dara crossed her arms over her chest

“It isn't. You're just so adorable, my Dara,” he squished her cheeks

“Promise you aren't making fun of me?” she raised her right hand

“I promise,” he raised his right hand as well

“Good!”

Dara then glomped Jaejoong which led Jaejoong to lie down with her on top.

“Someone's excited to see me,” winked Jaejoong

“I know you're teasing me, but I'm just so happy you're here,” Dara rested her head on his chest

“Let's lie down on the bed, yeah?” suggested Jaejoong.

Dara stood up first and helped Jaejoong.

“Will you wash up first?” asked Dara before sitting down

Jaejoong was the one showing fatigue now.

“I'm too tired,” he replied

“Aww, my poor baby, come here.”

Dara pulled Jaejoong closer to her and held on to his hand to pull herself up.

“You did an amazing job in your concert,” Dara complimented him

“Thank you,”

“And I know you're going to miss singing and performing, but two years will fly,”

“I know that, but what I'm going to miss the most is you.”

Jaejoong rested his forehead on Dara's and closed his eyes.

“I'm going to miss us like this. I'm going to miss your scent, your cute nose, your nagging about how spicy I cook, your bear hugs, your random kisses. I'm going to miss you so much, my Dara.”

Dara then cupped Jaejoong's face gently.

“We'll see each other when we can,” she reassured him

“I bet you'll be busy with your solo career. Your drama is going to be a hit, I know it,” he paused, “Not that I don't want the best for you. I'm just selfish. I want you all to myself,” he finally opened his eyes

“Aww. Is my Jaejoong already jealous of my future leading men?” teased Dara

“Yes,” he pouted

“I'm yours, baby. Only yours,” she planted a peck on his lips, “Don't ever forget it,”

“I know,” a smile returned to his lips

“Now how about sleep?” she asked

“I'm not sure if I can sleep yet, but I'm ready to lie down.”

And so the couple finally lied down together while facing each other.

“Aww, the lights,” Jaejoong whined

“What a baby,” giggled Dara, “I'll get it. I'm closer to it anyways,”

“Thank you!”

After turning the lights off, Dara gladly snuggled next to her significant other.

“It's our last night together,” Jaejoong said

“You make it sound like it's the last time we'll ever be together,”

“I can't help it. I'm so used to this now,” he hugged her tighter

“It isn't a goodbye, it's a see you later,” Dara faced him, “And for now, it should be a goodnight, silly,”

“Will you stay up all night with me?” he suddenly asked

“I thought you were tired,”

“I am, but I want to spend more time with you awake,”

“Oh Jaejoong.”

Jaejoong brushed strands of Dara's hair to her side so he could see a better view of her face.

“You'll wait for me, right?”

“Why are you being like this? Aigoo~”

“Why won't you answer?”

“Because it's a no brainer question! Of course I am going to wait for you. Til the end,” she pinched his nose

“Promise,” it was Jaejoong's turn to raise his right hand first

“Promise, cross my heart,” Dara replied, “This isn't goodbye,”

Without realizing it, Jaejoong was starting to feel relaxed and a bit sleepy. He was feeling reassured by Dara's sweet and sincere words. Dara noticed his eyes closing and smiled, Stay awake the whole night, eh. She was laughing in her mind, scared to fully wake Jaejoong who finally had his eyes closed. Then, Dara kissed him lightly on his forehead.

“There's never ever going to be a goodbye between us.”
