Summary: (For this one) TaekWoon loved SangHyuk’s ears a bit too much.

TaekWoon loved everything about SangHyuk’s ears, his tail was also the cutest but there was something about his fluffy dark brownish ears that perked whenever something caught his attention or scared him. He loved them the most when they slowly fell down relaxed when they heard his soft voice calling his companion (SangHyuk stopped being a pet the moment he adopted him from that shelter) for his daily petting.

He also loved the way they stayed really up whenever he heard HongBin and HakYeon’s steps just outside the hall, which meant he’ll get to play with his best friend for the whole afternoon. How one would fall as he tilted his head to the side when something confused or troubled him or how they tickled his neck whenever the boy climbed on top of his lap to nap for a while as he watched TV. Don’t let him get started on how endearing it was when there was a strange noise coming from somewhere and he only moved one of them, trying to find the source of it.

“Hyung,” the kitten called from his usual spot on the couch, ears perked because he knew better than to trust his normal hearing when it came to his owner’s low tone, “are you done?” no matter how big SangHyuk got since he got to their small apartment, his attitude hadn’t changed much, he was still a baby in TaekWoon’s eyes.

“Yeah,” he mumbled, standing up from his desk a few steps away from where the catboy was, he could finish the rest once SangHyuk was asleep, “C’mon,” The boy’s tail swayed back and forth as he rushed to one of the next rooms, dropping on the bed and curling underneath the sheets as he waited for his master (he still called TaekWoon that in his mind because old habits die hard).

TaekWoon rolled his eyes at the usual sight before he laid down next to the purring ball, SangHyuk came out from under and rubbed his head on the other’s shoulder, expectant. With a soft huff at his kitten’s adorableness, the older pushed the younger’s bangs out of his eyes before combing his fingers through his hair, scratching the spot between his ears which now where completely flat to his head, indulging in the warm and caress of his touch. Soft purrs rumbled close to his side, small vibrations reaching his hand until SangHyuk’s breathing became loud and even after a few minutes; the only movements coming from him were the common twitches of his ears as he dreamed while his whole body rested on TaekWoon’s side.

TaekWoon smiled to himself as he stared at his sleeping figure, daring to touch one of those beloved ears in a playful manner just to see it move away before he sighed, leaving a kiss on his forehead in order to close his own eyes, deciding that work could wait.
