Description

Prologue:

At the beginning, there was nothing, only the void. Everything was infinite in nothingness, but if you looked closer into the darkness you’d be able to find a single bird creature. It was called Nyx. This bird had an egg and for a number of millennia sat upon it until one day it hatched. And thus was born Eros, the god of love.

The remnants of the shell then went their own ways. A half went to the sky while the other created the world we live in. Eros named our world Gaia and the sky Uranus. Eros made the two fall in love. And through their fruitful marriage they had many children.

Some became the Titans, others the giants. The black sheep, Atlas, was immediately punished to hold the earth in atonement for all his wrong doings. While two of their children, Cronos and Rhea, soon fell in love and were wed.

Their offspring are now the well known gods and goddesses of Mt. Olympus. The first of their kind and name.

But all good things would soon come to an end. When a prophecy was foretold about how one of their sons would overthrow Cronos and usurp the throne. Blinded by the power and greed he swallowed up each and every one of his children the moment they left the womb of their mother.

Every single one of them. Except Zeus.

We know how this story goes. Zeus plots his revenge, to save his siblings and banished his father into Tartarus. A classic Greek Myth on the story of creation.

And how Zeus then created man. How he fashioned us from iron. Not gold where we were too perfect. Not from silver that would only bring upon vanity nor from bronze where we would only bring war and torment between one another. But from iron. Iron that is abundant. Iron that is strong. But Iron that rusts and wastes away.

Iron that is part of the inner and outer core of the earth. Also iron that is easily manipulated... too easily. Iron that can be made into alloys with the combination of other elements.

This is the story of man.

But there is one forgotten tale.

One that has been hidden in the oldest and most fragile of scrolls in Greece. One they wish not to tell for it will only cause chaos in the land that they rule. One that they only wish to forget.

My dear friends. This is the tale of the twelve. The tale of how Zeus really managed to defeat his father. Because one must always wonder how a mere son of the Almighty Titan defeated and conquered the great and powerful Cronos. Cronos was smart. And it all began when Zeus finally created his beloved subjects.

Cronos had the power of twelve. The gift to command everything at his will. He was powerful and he was great. He was also smarter than what his children deemed him to be.

It is said that he can also manifest a power in accordance to his every whim. Even if the power was unknown as long as he wishes to manifest and make it real it shall become so. This power of his was called Omnus.

With his twelve powers and the great Omnus as well he could possibly rule the world and never lose his throne to his ungrateful child. But he also knew that if a prophecy is said it must be carried out. So before Zeus could come at him and take away all his gifts. He scattered his great powers across Gaea and accepted his defeat.

The twelve powers were manifested as wisps. Waiting for Zeus to create his Iron men. Once created they found strong enough host bodies that would be able to hone each great power. With the exemption of Omnus. Because a power as great as it cannot be kept inside the body of an Iron man. It is far too great. Far too powerful. And when kept in the wrong vessel would only slowly erode the body from within.

So when it became known that another being would be created. One much stronger. One much more tolerable to whatever pain could be inflicted. Cronos decided that Omnus would manifest there. His most cherished power would be manifested within the body of a woman.

But Cronos knew if the power were to reach his son's ears then he would find ways to destroy each and every one of the vessels they were in. So he made sure that the body that kept his beloved Omnus would be perceived by many as weak. That it would be shunned and frowned upon in society.

So he blinded the men that his son created into thinking that women were weak and useless. That their only purpose was to be at home and to bear child. Only then can he protect his precious power from the wrath of his wretched son.

He would wait then. Only to come back once again. Plotting his revenge with each passing millennia. Because when the twelve and his power of Omnus unite. He shall rise again. And reclaim the throne that is rightfully his.
