There are two best friends named: Tiffany and Jessica. They are both came from America but different places.

They are both new in South Korea so they are not that really good in speaking Korean. When the two are talking to each other, they are both speaking in English.

They’re favorite hangout during break time is in the 5^th floor stairs towards the roof top.

“Fany!” Jessica called her best friend while she is climbing the stairs.

“Why are you late in 5 minutes?” Tiffany asks.

“Donghae stopped me when I was about to go out the canteen after I bought my food.” Jessica said and sat on the step of the stairs.

“What did he say to you?” Tiffany asks.

Donghae was known in their school to be a playboy.

“He wants me to be his girlfriend.” Jessica said and takes a bite to her bread.

“Then?” Tiffany asks.

“I rejected him. He is a playboy and he is not the guy I like.” Jessica said.

“Then, who do you like?” Tiffany asks.

Jessica looks at her. “Do you want an honest answer?” Jessica asks.

“Of course I do.” Tiffany said and drinks her juice.

“I don’t know if you notice him but when I came here he is the only guy who caught my attention.” Jessica said.

“Who is it? Is he our classmate?” Tiffany asks.

Jessica nodded. “Promise me that you won’t tell anyone about him.” Jessica said.

“I won’t.” Tiffany said.

“Well, he is……….. Kibum!” Jessica said.

“The nerd?!” Tiffany asks.

“Yah! He is just smart but he isn’t nerd.” Jessica said.

“I’m sorry. Well, he looks like he is not interested in girls.” Tiffany said.

“I know that is why I like him.” Jessica said.

Tiffany saw in Jessica’s eyes that she really likes Kibum and she was happy to her friend.

It was Valentine’s Day and the school prepared a little game to all the students.

All of them received hearts and they will give it to the person they like. The goal is whoever have most hearts will be the king and queen of the school.

“Fany, who you will gonna give your heart?” Jessica asks. They are inside the classroom and there are no classes for that day.

“I don’t know. I don’t have someone in my mind to give this heart.” Tiffany said while holding the heart. “Are you giving your heart to Kibum?”

“Yes but I can’t find him.” Jessica said.

Kibum was missing after the principal told them about the game that morning.

“Let’s find him.” Tiffany said.

“You will help me?” Jessica asks.

“Yes.” Tiffany said.

“Thank you!” Jessica happily said.

But before they get out of the classroom, a boy wearing thick eyeglasses came to approach them.

“T-Tiffany H-Hwang.” The boy said.

“Ne?” Tiffany said.

“I-I’m J-Jino. W-Will you a-accept my h-heart?” he asks nervously.

“Ne.” Tiffany said and accepts the heart.

Jino smiled widely. “Kamsahamnida!” he said and bowed down.

After that, Tiffany and Jessica focus in finding Kibum but every time they walk passes by the students, some students give the hearts to them.

“How many hearts do you have?” Jessica asks.

They are in canteen taking a break.

Tiffany counts the heart. “49 hearts.” She said.

“Wow! I’m sure you will win the queen.” Jessica said.

“How about you?” she asks.

“25.” Jessica said.

Then, Donghae and his friend Eunhyuk came to their table.

Donghae gives his heart to Jessica.

Jessica politely accepts the heart.

“So, aren’t you going to give your heart to me?” Donghae asks.

“Mian but I already gave to someone else.” Jessica said.

“Who is that guy?” Donghae asks who sounds annoyed.

“You don’t need to know because you might hurt him.” Jessica said.

Donghae walk out because he is annoyed.

“Fany, I will give my heart to you.” Eunhyuk said.

“Thanks.” Tiffany said.

“Did you already give your heart to someone else?” Eunhyuk asks.

“Not yet.” Tiffany said.

“I hope you give it to me.” Eunhyuk said.

“I’ll think about it.” Tiffany said.

“I’ll be waiting in my classroom.” Eunhyuk said and left them.

“Why don’t you give your heart to him?” Jessica asks Tiffany after Eunhyuk left.

“I don’t want to give my heart to a monkey.” Tiffany said.

Kibum was at the back of the school building where the big tree is. He was sleeping there while the book covering his face.

Kibum removes the book on his face. He saw a first year student standing on his front.

“Oppa, please accept my heart.” The girl said.

Kibum accepts the heart.

The girl smiled. “Kamsahamnida!”

The girl went back to her friends who are not too far away.

Jessica and Tiffany are still walking around the school and they can’t find Kibum.

Tiffany was already received 199 hearts.

“Aigoo… I’m so tired.” Tiffany said and sat on the step of the stairs.

They are at their favorite place.

“I’m losing my hope.”Jessica weakly said.

“Come on! Don’t give up!” Tiffany encourages her.

“How many hearts do you have?” Jessica asks.

“199.” Tiffany said.

“I have a feeling that the guy who will give you the 200^th heart will be your king.” Jessica said.

“Don’t say that.” Tiffany said.

“How about you will give your heart to the 200^th guy who will give his heart to you?” Jessica suggests.

“Uhmm… Good idea!” Tiffany said. “But first let’s find your Kibum.”

“Ne!” Jessica said.

“Where else didn’t we look for Kibum?” Tiffany asks.

“At the back of this school building.” Jessica said.

“Right. Let’s look for him there.” Tiffany said.

The two went to the back of the school building and they saw Kibum under the tree.

“Give it to him now.”Tiffany said.

Jessica took a deep breath before walking towards Kibum.

“Kibum.” Jessica said to get Kibum’s attention.

Kibum closes the book he was reading and looks at Jessica.

“Ne?” he said.

Jessica gives her heart to Kibum.

“Please accept it.” Jessica said.

Kibum accepts the heart.

Jessica was happy and hurriedly went back to Tiffany.

“Happy?” Tiffany asks.

“Very happy.” Jessica said.

The two were about to go when Kibum called Tiffany.

“Ne?” Tiffany said.

They waited for Kibum to walk closer to them.

He took something from his pocket and it is a heart.

“This is for you.” Kibum said.

Tiffany was surprised and she didn’t know if she will accept it or not because Jessica might get jealous. She looks at Jessica first.

“It’s ok. Accept it.” Jessica said.

Tiffany shyly accepts the heart. “Gomaweoh.” She said.

Then, Tiffany remembered that she needs to give her heart to the 200^th guy who will give his heart to her and in that case it is Kibum.

She took out her heart and gave it to Kibum.

“Gomaweoh.” Kibum said and went back under the tree.

Tiffany and Jessica are not talking to each other until they get back to their classroom.

The teachers are checking all the students who got the most hearts before they will gather in the gymnasium.

“Everyone, go to the gymnasium now!” the teachers all said.

All the students went to the gymnasium.

“Sica.” Tiffany called her when they are walking towards the gymnasium.

Jessica stops walking.

“Mian.” Tiffany said.

“For what?” Jessica asks.

“About the incident a while ago with Kibum.” Tiffany said.

“It is nothing. I don’t care if Kibum likes you. The more important thing is you are my best friend.” Jessica said.

Tiffany smiled and hugs her.

“Let’s go inside the gymnasium. I’m sure you will be the queen.” Jessica said and holds Tiffany’s hand.

“Now, all the hearts have been counted and we have now king and queen of Valentine.” The principal said from the stage. “Let’s call the queen first. Please come here on stage Miss…………..Tiffany Hwang!”

“Alright! I knew you will be the queen!” Jessica happily said.

“Miss Tiffany Hwang received 200 hearts.” The principal said while Tiffany was coming on the stage.

The teachers put a crown on Tiffany’s head.

“Then, our king is Mr……………Kim Kibum!” the principal announced.

Jessica lost her smile when she heard what the principal said.

“Mr. Kim Kibum received 347 hearts.” The principal said.

Jessica felt jealous especially when she saw Kibum came on the stage.

“Wow! They really look good together.” The principal said. “Kibum, who is the lucky girl you gave your heart?”

Kibum points at Tiffany.

“Wow! And how about you, Tiffany?” The principal asks.

Tiffany shyly points at Kibum.

“You must be destined to each other.” The principal said.

Jessica left the gymnasium because of jealous.

Tiffany saw her and she wanted to follow her but she can’t.

After the program, the teachers arranged a dinner date for the king and queen so even though Tiffany wants to find Jessica she can’t because of that.

After the dinner, the teachers left them.

“I had a great time.” Kibum said.

“Me too.” Tiffany said.

“Uhmm…” Tiffany can’t decide because she wants to find Jessica in the school. But it is 7:00 in the evening and Jessica probably went home. “Uhmm… I wouldn’t mind.”

Kibum smiled. “Let’s go?”

Tiffany nodded.

“What are you doing here?” Tiffany asks.

Jessica goes to school early morning. She wants to talk to Tiffany and apologize the way she acted yesterday.

She was now entering the school gate when a bicycle passes her. She stops walking when she saw that the riders of the bicycle were Kibum and Tiffany.

“Gomaweoh.” Tiffany said to Kibum.

“Can I take you home and take you to school every day?” Kibum asks.

“Sure.” Tiffany said.

Jessica walks closer to them. “I see that the king and queen are getting along now.” Jessica said.

“S-Sica. Why aren’t you answering my call last night?” Tiffany asks.

“Oh mian but I thought you are busy being queen yesterday so I didn’t bother to answer your call.” Jessica said.

“Jessica.” Tiffany said. She knows that Jessica is jealous and it is because of her. “We need to talk.”

“No need. I can see the real you now.” Jessica said and left them.

Tiffany doesn’t know what to do but she knows that this is not the right time to talk to Jessica because she is mad.

During class, Jessica and Tiffany don’t talk to each other.

Jessica opens her locker and found a note.

She smiled when she reads the note and hurriedly went to the stairs.

Tiffany was in the canteen with Kibum eating together.

“Uhmm… You go ahead back to the classroom, I need to go somewhere.” Tiffany said after their lunch.

“Ok.” Kibum said.

Tiffany went to the stairs to find Jessica.

“Sica.” She called while climbing the stairs.

She reaches the end of the stairs but Jessica isn’t there. She opens the rooftop door and saw Jessica running towards her.

Jessica pushes her until she rolled down the stairs.

“Fany!” Jessica shouts in horrified.

She hurriedly went down the stairs and checks on unconscious Tiffany.

“Fany, wake up.” Jessica said. Then she saw a blood flowing from the back of Tiffany’s head.

Her eyes widened and she screamed.

Tiffany was comatose and no one knows when she will going to wake up or worse she won’t gonna wake up forever.

Jessica never showed up in the hospital because she is afraid to face Tiffany. It was her fault why Tiffany was comatose.

She doesn’t have any courage to tell to everyone that it was her fault because she was scared that the people might hate her.

She never hangs out in the stairs anymore because she always remembers what happened.

One lunch break…

Jessica was left alone in her seats while her classmates went to the canteen to have lunch.

“Hey.” Someone said.

Jessica saw Kibum on her front.

“How’s Tiffany?” Kibum awkwardly asks.

“I think she is still comatose.” She said.

“You think? Haven’t you visited her in the hospital?” Kibum asks.

“Uhmm... I a-always visit her in the hospital.” Jessica lied.

“Then, can you come with me to the hospital later after class? I want to visit her.” Kibum said.

“H-Huh? I’m sorry but I need to go somewhere else later.” She said.

Kibum felt disappointed.

“I-If you want I will tell you her room number so you can visit her.” She said.

“Really? Thanks.” Kibum said.

“E-Excuse me.” She said and gets out of the classroom.

Jessica went to the stairs where they hang out. There she cried and cried.

“F-Fany, s-sorry.” She said.

Then, she felt a cold wind blew from her back.

She looks back and she saw the roof top door closed.

How on earth a wind blew from her back when the door is closed?

Jessica felt scared and decided to go back to the classroom.

She was about to go when someone pushes her from the back.

Luckily she tightly holds to the side of the stairs.

She looks up and she didn’t saw someone up there but she is sure that someone pushes her.

Feeling more scared, she runs until she gets in the classroom.

She weakly sat on her chair and she felt her heart beating fast.

“Jung, what’s that in your blouse?” Taeyeon asks, the president of the class.

“Huh? What is it?” Jessica asks.

“There’s a mark of hands on your back and it looks like a blood.” Taeyeon said.

Jessica went to the comfort room and checks her back on the mirror.

Her eyes widened when she saw two marks of bloody hands on her blouse.

How did she get that?

“Did someone play a prank on you a while ago?” Taeyeon asks who followed her in the comfort room.

Jessica shook her head.

“Then, how did you get that?” Taeyeon asks.

“I-I don’t know.” Jessica said.

“You need to change now before the lunch break ends.” Taeyeon said.

Jessica went to her locker room. As she opens the locker, she was shocked to see her reflection in the mirror.

She saw Tiffany on her back angrily looking at her.

She turns back but no one is there. She quickly gets her extra blouse and went back to the comfort room to change.

Luckily, she isn’t alone in the comfort room because there are some students in there too.

After changing her blouse, she went back to the classroom. She saw her classmates gathering around her desk.

“Is there something wrong?” she asks.

All her classmates move out of her way to let her take look.

On her desk, there was a black lunch box.

“Where did it come from?” Jessica asks.

“Someone came here and just put the box there.” Taeyeon said.

“Do you know him or her?” she asks.

“We didn’t saw her face.” Taeyeon said.

Jessica opens the lunch box and she was shocked what is inside.

Inside the box were rotten cucumbers with worms.

“Gross!” Taeyeon said.

Jessica hates cucumbers and only Tiffany knows that.

“I need to know who is playing a prank on me. Where did that girl who put the box here go?” she asks.

“We don’t know.” Her classmates said.

“But I do remember something to that girl.” Kibum said.

All of them look at Kibum.

“Do you know her?” Jessica asks.

“I am not sure but when I saw her back she is kinda reminds me of Tiffany Hwang.” Kibum said.

“But Tiffany was comatose.” Jessica said.

“I know so I know that it wasn’t Tiffany.” Kibum said.

The bell rang indicates that lunch break is over.

Jessica took the lunch box and throws it to the garbage can inside the classroom.

Jessica was walking on her way home when Kibum called her.

Kibum was riding his bicycle.

“I’m going to visit Tiffany in the hospital. Do you want to come?” Kibum asks.

“I need to study tonight.” Jessica said.

When Jessica went home, she went straight to her bedroom.

She went to her bathroom to take a quick shower before she eats dinner. She was in the shower room when she heard something drops on her bedroom.

After the quick shower she gets out of the bathroom and she saw the picture frame on the floor.

She pick it up and she saw the picture frame broken. The picture was cut in to two pieces.

It was her picture with Tiffany.

She was wondering who did that because it is impossible for her mom to do that.

Then, her mom knocks the door.

“Sica, I’m going to the hospital to visit Tiffany. Do you want to come?”Her mom asks.

“A-Aniyo. I am not feeling well so I am going to bed early.” She said.

“Ok. Make sure to lock all the doors and windows and don’t forget to eat your dinner before you go to sleep.” Her mom said.

“Ne!” she said.

Then, after minutes she heard her mom’s car leaving.

She decided to go to the dining room. While quietly eating her dinner, she felt cold.

She decided to open the stereo and listen to some musics.

Then, the dj played the song Because I’m A Girl by Kiss. Jessica loves the song but not Tiffany.

Tiffany doesn’t like the song because she watched the MV and she cried because of that. Tiffany doesn’t like things she makes her cry and that MV is one of it.

When they are listening to the radio and the dj played that song, Tiffany always turns the radio off.

Then, Jessica was surprised when the radio turns off. She stood up and turns on the radio again. But before she goes back to her chair, the radio turns off again.

Jessica starting gets scared and before something scary happens again she quickly gets out of the house and rides her bicycle. She went to the playground and stays there.

After 2 hours of staying in the playground she decided to go home. When she got home, her mom was already there. Her mom scolds her for leaving her unfinished dinner on the table.

Jessica was entering her classroom when she notices her classmates gathered around her table.

“What is it this time?” Jessica asks herself before entering the classroom. “Good morning!” she said in English.

All her classmates look at her but no one response to her greet.

“What with that look?” Jessica asks.

“Jung, look at your desk.” Taeyeon said.

Jessica walks towards her desk and she saw bloods on the desk. She was getting scared to the things that happening to her.

“Do you know someone who is mad at you?” Taeyeon asks.

Jessica just shook her head.

“Sica, next week you will go to live with your father now in California.” Jessica’s mom said while they are having their dinner.

Jessica’s parents are divorced for years and her dad was living alone in California.

Last week her dad called and he wants Jessica to study in California. Jessica and her mom agreed to it.

“I know.” Jessica said.

That is the right time to go far away so the unexplainable things happening to her will end now.

After a week, Jessica flies to California without visiting Tiffany in the hospital.

The unexplainable things happening to her finally ends but it continue in the school. When some students tried to hang out in the stairs, they felt something weird and when they are about to go, an accident will happen. And because of that no one tried to go there.

“Now I know why no one tried to go to the rooftop.” Sulli said.

“What happened to Tiffany?” Luna asks.

“She is still in comatose. But her parents are not giving up and they are hoping that she will wake up one day.” Siwon said.

“Do you think that it was Tiffany who is pushing the students in the stairs?” Krystal asks.

“But she is still alive.” Onew said.

“I think when a person was in comatose her body is still alive but unconscious and her spirit is wondering around.” Yoona said.

“So, there is possible that it was Tiffany who haunting Jessica but since Jessica was now in California she can’t haunt her because Tiffany’s body is still alive and she can’t go far away.” Hyoyeon said.

“It looks like you girls are getting interested in these scary stories.” Taemin said.

“It is scary but I find it interesting because your stories always unfinished.” Hyoyeon said. She loves solving mysteries.

“Leeteuk hyung, why don’t you tell the next story?” Amber said.

“Sure. No problem.” Leeteuk said.
