It was Yoona's first day as a freshman of Dunman College. Anticipation and fear gripped her as she walked down the hallway. Moments after she stepped in, whispers and muted smiles disseminated across the crowd. She was the one who would turn heads and attract the attention of many with her drop-dead gorgeous look and her dazzling smile. Always the envy of her peers, Yoona ranked first in terms of her beauty and academic results. Despite countless love confessions from hunks whose family backgrounds were equivalent to hers, she rejected all of them without hesitation. Brushing past the guys who were trying to charm her, she hurried her way to the classroom, avoiding the attention she has gotten the moment she entered the hallway.

'Phew...' She sighed as she picked a desk and settled down. She stared blankly at the four walls of the empty classroom, wondering how long it would take before she could adapt to the new surroundings. While she rested her head on the desk, more students strolled in. Soon, she became the centre of attention once again when many couldn't take their eyes off her.

'GOSH, why on earth are they shooting quizzical looks at me? I've done nothing wrong...' She shuddered at the thought, unable to believe how many pair of eyes are staring intently at her.

'Can I sit here?' A gentle voice sounding like a breeze spoke. She jerked up from her position, then her eyes fell on the man in front of her. She couldn't believe what she saw. A guy with such defined and feminine features she almost choked on her saliva. It was as though he was an angel, and his presence delivered warmth and comfort. Jolting awake from her thoughts, she nodded, unable to take her eyes off the guy with such good looks and a gentle countenance. The corners of his lips hooked up the moment he saw Yoona staring at him.

'I'm Jaejoong. It's nice to meet you.' He offered his hand and she took it.

'And you too.' But Yoona's dazzling smile was an addiction as well. It was contagious. Both of them seemed to be caught up in a battle of the 'most affectionate smile'. Less than a minute later, lessons began, followed by several icebreaking activities.

Finally, it was time for a break. Yoona stood up, turning away to face the exit when Jaejoong pulled her by her arm.

'You hadn't tell me your name.' He grinned. 'Oh! I am sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Yoona, IM YOO-NA.'

Smiling, Jaejoong replied, 'Yoona, shall we have our lunch together?' Obviously, Yoona was stunned. She never knew she manage to gain a friend during the first day of school. Not even a day yet.

'Sure...' She tilts her head and smiles. As they walk out of the doorway, a group of girls seem to be dashing towards the Music Theatre. They were screaming hysterically, pushing their way through the crowd to the theatre. 'Jeemseung OPPA!', they shrieked like some childish brats. The repetition of his nickname irks Yoona. She shrugged and rolled her eyes at their folly, having disgraced themselves. 'I wonder who he is, and how he has gotten himself so many crazy fangirls!' Jaejoong lets out a laugh, while Yoona forces herself to laugh too.

'Shall we check out the Theatre too? If, you're not too hungry at the moment..' Jaejoong flashed his charming smile, and Yoona nodded, blaming herself for nodding upon seeing his set of pearly white teeth and mesmerizing smile.

'This ones for you and me, living out our dreams...' Yoona stopped in her track. The melodious voice amazed her. 'With my arms out, I open my eyes...'

Each sentence he sang, she felt her adrenaline rush through her body. Not before long, Jaejoong has led her to the first few rows as they watched Taecyeon perform with his rock band. Yoona felt stoked, in fact, intoxicated. Besides classical music and ballad, she has never found other genre interesting. But the moment he sang, thrill and excitement flushed through her body. It was different. When the song ended, there was a rapturous applause, followed by a deafening sound of fangirls screaming their hearts out.

'G'day mates! Would love to see all of you here!' He yelled into the mike, and there was a louder cheer.

'Shall I call upon someone up on stage? Let's see...' He scanned across the whole batch of students volunteering themselves and spotted her. She couldn't help but stare at him, his chiselled good looks and muscular shape. Looking at his affectionate smile, Yoona couldn't help but melt. She couldn't take her eyes off him, looking at his bronzed skin and toned abs.

'Shall we call upon the hottie over there?' He smirked and pointed in the direction of Yoona. Everything turned around, and Yoona was once again, ed into limelight. Her eyes widened and her jaws dropped.

'Me?' She thought, dreading being cursed by fangirls. Jaejoong turned to look at her, frowning.

Shaking her head, she turned to leave, but Taecyeon jumped off the stage and grabbed her arm from behind. 'C'mon sweetie, don't be a spoilsport. You'll do just very fine.' With that, he pulled her up on stage.

He turned her to face him on stage, and she felt her breath shudder. 'Shall we sing a song, together?' She remained silent.

'I'll take it as a YES.' He grins mischievously.

'Do you catch your breath, when I look at you...' As he sang, she began to sing along with him. Together, It sounded like a flawless piece of duet.

 She could feel herself go numb. Why did she feel her heart thumping so wildly? She has lost her breath, her sanity. Why in the right mind would she feel like butterflies were in her stomach? She was confused, bewildered beyond measure. Was this.... LOVE? Has she fallen in love at first sight? Was this her feeling?

The song ended, with Taecyeon staring at her, lost in his thoughts. Their gaze fell on each other, but were jolted back to reality when the crowd cheered. Feeling the heat rising between them, Yoona trudged down the stage.
