“Oppa?” Seohyun found herself saying the moment she recognized that man in front of her facing the other direction. “What are you doing here?”

Yonghwa turned and gave her a toothy boyish grin, “Hi, it’s nice to see you decently dressed.”

She couldn’t help but smile watching that playful smirk on his lips while his eyes travelled from her face down to her body as if relieved to see her so she teased back, “Why? You didn’t like the jeans?”

“The jeans…” he started then faked a cough before continuing, “Were exceptionally perfect on you. Actually, I would like it more to see you looking that way if we’re the only ones in the room.”

“Nothing, I just thought you might miss me.”

She couldn't help but chuckle at that cocky smile but she couldn't deny that something inside her was really missing this silly banter. Seohyun dragged her thoughts back to reality as she put on her jacket, “Someone said you were inside.”

“I was but it was rather uhhh… too hot in there.”

“Really? You didn’t stay long?”

“I stayed long enough to see your y back.”

Another soft laugh emerged as she shook her head. Seohyun knew that he was seriously flirting with her and surprisingly, she enjoyed flirting back. Did she really miss him or just this easy flirting? Crossing her arms on her chest, she raised a brow when she noticed that glimmer of mischief in his eyes. “What now?”

Yonghwa beamed then cleared his throat, “Because of that, I’m buying you dinner.”

“You saw my y back so you’re buying me dinner?”

“Yep, that calls for a celebration...”

Seohyun pursed her lips suppressing a giggle. Giggle? Really? His timing is seriously good. But then again, is she really going to do this? If she says yes to him then it would be Date Two. Something doesn’t really sit well. After this, she shouldn’t see him again. Strange but there was a knot forming in her stomach just thinking of it that way.

“Seohyun-ssi,” Yonghwa crossed his own arms on his chest mirroring her. He watched her watch him closely then finally retorted, “Don’t worry, it isn’t a date. I’m just so happy right now so I’m sharing my happiness. Sharing is caring, you know.”

A heavy sigh escaped ignoring his attempt to humor her. Did he just read her mind? Putting her focus back at him, she shrugged pretending to be unaffected, “We can take the staff if you really want to share.”

Yonghwa’s face contorted as if unsure then slid his hands inside his pockets retrieving a few bills. Holding them up to her, he responded rather regretfully, “Nope… just for two. Sorry, not as rich as you had expected.”

Seohyun couldn’t really hold in another chuckle so she nodded, “Okay, okay… since you’re extra funny.”

Half an hour later, she found herself sitting across him enjoying a big bowl of bibimbap in a posh Italian restaurant. In front of them were a number of side dishes that some she doesn’t even recognize. Apparently, it was another establishment owned by one of his celebrity friends that they were able to order a home cooked meal; not to mention obviously secured from any threat of publicity. Seohyun was still in awe that he was able to deliver this kind of treatment despite revealing to him that she was just joking when she said that she was craving for a big bowl of bibimbap. Yonghwa just shrugged and ignored her once their food came in and he devoured his share.

When she could no longer take the silence, she looked at him, “Do you bring your dates here often?”

Yonghwa swallowed but just gave her an exaggerated shrug then asked back, “Do your dates ever take you for a big bowl of bibimbap in an Italian restaurant?”

Seohyun rolled her eyes then shrugged, “Do you really move heaven and earth to impress a girl?” He stopped chewing, took a big gulp of water and stared at her blankly. Did she push the wrong button? The guilt rushed over her but Yonghwa unexpectedly grinned. That made her groan as she watched him took a spoonful of dried shredded squid and put it in his rice bowl.

Suddenly, his movement halted and his gaze lifted towards her, “Do you really do a lot of that kind of photoshoots?”

“That kind?” Seohyun asked gently then dropped her eyes on her own food. He must have been thinking about that since he was also quiet on the drive to the restaurant.
