Jaejoong walked out of the kitchen inside the ancient palace. He knew he was lucky being one of the cooks of the emperor, but he felt like he was missing something.

He walked around the servant's part of the forbidden city, looking at the couples taking a stroll, laughing and talking. That was what he missed. Love.

Jaejoong sat undetneath a cherry tree, enjoying the shadow it brought him. The constant pain he felt in his chest rose up again. "Guess I'm just lonely." Jaejoong sighed.

"I could keep you company." A soft voice whispered next to him and he whirred around to face a beautiful woman. Her face was white as snow and her full lips were a vibrant red.

The woman slid her arms around his neck and nuzzled it. "I don't need company like that!" Jaejoong said angry and pulled himself loose before walking away.

In the alley back to the kitchens Jaejoong was pushed against the wall. I was the same woman as before, but her eyes had changed. Instead of dark brown, they were now a bloody red.

Jaejoongs eyes widened when he saw her eyes. He had heared stories about the red eyed monsters, and he knew that this wouldn't end well for him.

He felt a sharp pain in his neck, and his life slowly drained out of him.

When Jaejoong woke up in the alley the next morning he was confused. He was sure he had been attacked by one of the red eyed monsters.

When someone walked into the alley his mind went foggy. When it cleared again and there was a dead man on the ground in front of him, and Jaejoong understood what had happened.

The monster hadn't killed him. She'd made him one of them.
