Jieun’s POV

“ … I did it.” I said.

“ How did it feel?” Xiumin asked.

“ It’s a tingling sensation.”

“ Okay. Since you’ve mastered nullification, now it’s time for your other power. Mimicking one’s power. Also known as empathic mimicry.” Suho said. [A/N: Creds to heroes (tv series)]

 “ Is it going to be hard?”

“ Who knows? This power is extremely rare.” Kris said.

“ Wait a minute… I just realized something. If Jieun has empathic mimicry, does she also have adoptive muscle memory?” D.O said.

“ Adoptive muscle memory? What’s that?”

“ You can imitate another person’s movements.” Baekhyun said.

Lay was deep in thought.

“ D.O could be right. Empathic mimicry and adoptive muscle memory come in a pair. Like they’re related.” Lay said.

“ If Lay says so, then we should try it out.” Luhan said.

“ And now, it’s our time to come in. Mind if we cut in?” Namjoon said.

“ Not at all.” Suho said.

“ Jieun, do you mind if you try to copy our(BTS) movements? To see if it’s really true?”

“ Sure. Why not?” I agreed.

“ Jimin should do it. He’s the most detailed member when it comes to fighting.” Jin said.

I stood next to Jimin. He started off with a flying kick.

Automatically, my body move by itself and copied him. I wasn’t even thinking. I just did it.

“ You did it exactly the way I did it. The angle of the leg, how high you jumped….. everything.” Jimin said in amazement.

Next, he did a fighting sequence. Side kick, punch, uppercut, punch.

I successfully copied him again.

“ Woah. You’re getting good at this. Let’s try a harder sequence.”

Spinning side kick, jab, uppercut elbow.

Not to brag but…. You guys would know the results.

“ So how was it?”

“ It was perfect, Jieun. We should become fighting partners.”

“ Haha. Maybe we should.” Jimin put his arm around my shoulder.

“ Okay, okay that’s it. Break it up you two.” Sehun came in between us.

“ From now on, Jieun will be training with BTS for hand to hand combat and will be training with us for her empathic mimicry. But for now, let’s stop here and rest for the day.” Kris said.

The next day~

“ Ugh, I’m starving! What’s for lunch?” Chanyeol asked as his stomach growled in hunger.

J-Hope looked in all the cupboards in the kitchen.

“ Looks like we’re out of food.” J-hope showed us the empty cupboards.

“ Then we have to go to the market in the city. Jieun, wanna come?” V asked.

“ No way.” “ Sure.” Sehun and I said respectively.

“ Come on, Sehun. Why can’t I go? Ever since all this happened, I’ve never actually been outside other than the backyard. I feel kind of isolated. No offense.”
