Dongwoon’s P.O.V

“It’s ______.” My dad said.

NO.

This isn’t true.

What’s going on?

“Son, I’m so sorry. I’m….we’ve been lying to you. But we can explain it to you later. We will have time for explanations. Right now…..right now you need to go see her. She’s….”

“Where dad? Take me there now. NOW!”

They lead me to a familiar place.

I’ve seen this before.

When was it?

I can see ______’s mom crying outside the room.

No. This isn’t true. Oh God, please.

I can see a doctor walking out from the room, now talking to ______’s mom.

“Her heart is beating again. It’s still weak, we’ll need to monitor her heart beat more often now. She’s in critical condition right now. Her heart may fail on her any time again. We’ll sorry to inform you this.”

I felt like the whole world just crashed on me.

 ______’s mom saw me. She wiped away her tears and gave me a weak smile.

“I’m glad to see you, Dongwoon-ah. You’ve become manlier. Like a grown man”

She looks tired. She looks worn out. She looks like she hasn’t slept for days. She’s gotten skinner.

“Aunty, you need to take care of yourself more.” I told her.

She just nodded.

She led me into the room.

It was ______ on the bed.

Looking lifeless.

She’s just skin and bones.

Tears are now falling down from my eyes.

I kneel down beside her bed.

I couldn’t stop the tears coming out of my eyes.

Not her. Why did you pick her out of every living human being in the world?
