Dongwoon’s P.O.V

“She’s everything to me.” I replied.

I’m not going to lie. She is. I just hope the priest can hear the sincerity.

I love her. I miss her.

I only wish she would know it too.

“Very well. I believe everything that needed to be cleared up is done.” The priest said.

Suddenly my phone starts ringing.

I looked at the caller ID.

Mom.

I wonder why she would call me right now.

“Yoboseyo?”

“Dongwoon-ah…..”

It sounded as if she’s crying.

“Mom, what’s wrong. What’s going on? Tell me.”

“…..Please come to the hospital near your university.”

“I’ll be right there.”

I looked up to the priest.

“Sorry, I have to go.”

“I understand. Good luck.”

I ran as fast as I can to the hospital. I can see my parents at the entrance waiting for me.

I ran towards them. Still panting.

I looked up and see my mom crying.

I’ve never seen her cry like this before. Never.

Something must be terribly wrong.

 I can’t smell the rose scent anymore. A sense of comfort left me. My heart aches.
