Chapter 15
It's all the Angels' fault!‘You’re… You’re Kim Myungsoo?!’ Sungyeol’s eyes widen in disbelief.
‘Oh? You actually remembered me? Haha! I thought you would have forgotten me. How have you been?’ Myungsoo laughed and patted Sungyeol’s shoulder.
‘I don’t think anyone will actually forget about their kingka in this school.’ Sungyeol smiled a little. Good. At least he was still here. All of a sudden, Sungyeol felt the weight and the stress he shouldered had been lifted by a simple laughter from Myungsoo.
‘Look, as much as I would like to catch up with you, I have some business with someone important. I will see you around in school then!’ Myungsoo looked at the watch on his wrist.
‘Wait! Myungsoo, don’t you remember-‘ Sungyeol tried calling out for Myungsoo but Myungsoo’s phone starting ringing so Myungsoo walked away and gave him a slight wave before starting running out of school.
‘Looks like he doesn’t remember…’ Sungyeol said in a disappointed voice while walking towards the water fountain and took a seat.
The memories of Myungsoo and himself spending time bickering, talking and having fun came back as Sungyeol looked at the crystal clear blue sky. He really had missed those moments, where he didn’t feel alone at all. All those years which he was bullied because of his timid personality, he didn’t have much friends and Sungjong was one of the few who stuck with him throughout. Myungsoo was one special friend. He was someone whom Sungyeol would consider more than a friend but a soul mate. They both understood each other to the core. Nobody could ever replace Myungsoo in Sungyeol’s heart.
‘Hyung! I thought you went to the bathroom! I was dead worried you know!’ Sungjong yelled as he ran towards Sungyeol, his face flustered due to the running.
‘Sorry, Sungjong.’ Sungyeol gave him a slight smile.
‘Hyung, are you sure you are okay? Or is it just my illusion that you smiled?!’ Sungjong’s eyes widened in shock.
‘Yes, I smiled.’ Sungyeol chuckled a little, looking at the funny reaction that Sungjong had.
‘Does that mean… you have forgotten about Myungsoo and got over him already?’ Sungjong gulped nervously.
‘Hell, no. Why would I forget about Myungsoo? I just saw him, you know. He is still alive and he came back to school already!’ Sungyeol exclaimed and almost immediately, Sungjong placed his palm on Sungyeol’s forehead.
‘Must be the sun, hyung, your forehead is rather hot. I will take you to the hospital. You must be suffering from either a heat or a fever!’ Sungjong pulled Sungyeol on his feet and wanted to bring him to the infirmary.
‘Sungjong, I am not having a fever or anything. I really did see Myungsoo, which was why I ran out of the hall to look for him. I even managed to talk to him.’ Sungyeol looked really excited. ‘But he seemed to have forgotten about the days which he stayed with me.’
Sungjong was struggling whether to believe his hyung or to bring him to a psychiatrist. This could often happen in patients who had suffered the devastation from the deaths of their loved ones, where they would start seeing an illusion of their loved one being with them. After debating internally for a couple of minutes, Sungjong decided to just go along with Sungyeol. He had seen Sungyeol had been in a bad shape for a couple of days and if that illusion was going to make Sungyeol more cheerful, then why not?
‘Alright, alright. Let’s head back to meet Woohyun. Our school won the match and we can go for a celebratory lunch together!’ Sungjong pulled Sungyeol towards the hall.
‘Jongie! Stop pulling! I will lose my balance!’ Sungyeol yelped as he tried to keep up with Sungjong.

‘Well, well, well.’ Sunggyu looked at Hoya’s report.
‘Puh-lease Gyu Hyung! You see that I brought them together right? RIGHT?’ Hoya gave puppy eyes to Sunggyu and Sunggyu simply clicked his tongue in disgust.
‘You’re lucky that someone helped you to find Myungsoo’s soul! Or else other angel departments will come after your , even I can’t save you.’ Sunggyu straightened up his robe as he stood up, holding his ward, of which the emerald gem glow brightly.
‘You will be advanced with conditions, I will give the details to Dongwoo and he will know what to do with you. Meanwhile, I will be going down to earth for observation for at least a year or so. Behave yourself!’ Sunggyu glared at Hoya with his eyes narrowed as he stepped to the entrance to go down earth.
‘Aye captain.’ Hoya did a small salute as he skipped away happily. Finally! Finally no more cupid examination! He couldn’t help it but let out a cheer.

‘Cheers!’
Glasses filled with juices and sodas clinked and people started eating.
‘Say, I heard Myungsoo is awake already and that he came to school today?’ Key chewed the cheese on the pizza.
‘I heard it from ahjumma as well.’ Woohyun nodded. ‘Ahjumma said that his heart stopped pumping for about a minute then his heartbeat came back. It made them went through a roller coaster of feelings. But luckily, the next day Myungsoo regain consciousness so I guess he has to go through some therapy or something since he has not moved his limbs for about what, two months?’
‘Hyung, so you’re really not hallucinating huh.’ Sungjong looked at Sungyeol sideways and Sungyeol just gave him a shrug.
The lunch was great, Sungyeol thought to himself. With all these people who had pulled him through when Myungsoo was not around. Sungyeol quietly listened to their conversation and smiled, looking forward to school to start where he could see Myungsoo, face to face.

It was just another day, where school went on as per normal.
‘Kya! It’s Sungyeol oppa! Oppa! Look over here!’ A girl screamed as Sungyeol stepped into the school compound with Sungjong.
‘Hyung, are you going to Myungsoo’s class today?’ Sungjong asked as he continued to stuff the tuna onigiri into his mouth.
‘Yeah.’ Sungyeol replied while trying to look around for Myungsoo’s appearance.
‘Say, what if Myungsoo he doesn’t have the memory of living with you during that period of time? What are you going to do?’ Sungjong hit a jackpot question.
Sungyeol wasn’t sure of the answer of that too, since what Myungsoo said the other day seemed that he only remember the events before he got to the hospital. Sungyeol put on a worried look but decided to ask Myungsoo about it during lunch break later.
